I don't mean to interrupt this debate, but what do you think the company has brewing to justify such growth? I have plenty of shares, so I'm hopeful, but I'm also a realist and I'd like to hear something with sound reasoning to make me feel a little better about this investment.

Can you give a couple of scenarios which have the potential to materialize?

I am a little confused by the this press release. The headline reads: "MultiCell Technologies Announces Positive Preclinical Results for MCT-465 and MCT-485..."

The poster/abstract (for those of you who took the time to read it) states that based on other observations outlined in the poster they are conducting pre-clinical research on MCT-465 and MCT-485. This abstract DOES NOT give any preclinical results whatsoever. It simply states they are pursuing a hypothesis, not that they have actually accumulated any data to support the hypothesis.

This press release, particularly the headline, is very questionable... I believe it is intentionally misleading.

For those of you who have never been to one of these medical conferences, let me tell you that "poster presentations" are a dime a dozen. These presentations are done in a large halls with rows and rows of mini-billboards with hundreds, sometimes thousands of these posters lined up one after another. Many times it's a student or fellow answering questions to those who are passing by.

The really hot data is presented in "podium presentations" where the presenter speaks to hundreds of attendees in a dedicated time-slot. These presentations are the ones to get excited about, because they usually contain breaking news, or something very novel.

Look at the superficial poster (078) and compare it to the others in the meeting program book. It's not encouraging. Where are the "results"??

Yes. That seems plausible. Luckily for all of us it's been kept a secret and the price has been diminishing. Only a lucky few will have known about this cure for cancer. The big shots on Wall Street have overlooked this, despite the press releases, right?

It's pre-clinical data. There are no "outcomes" as defined by the ability to induce a clinical remission or prolong life. Pre-clinical data is used to support a hypothesis. However, there are many, many more steps before this becomes anything other than interesting... And those steps take big $$$$$$$

Where is the partner?

Simon is correct from this perspective - preclinical data is only meaningful IF it can be translated to human studies: A. In an area of unmet medical need; B. If the risk/benefit ratio is sufficient to justify an FDA approval.

However, pharma is constantly investing in the preclinical work of smaller companies and forming alliances. THAT is the news which will be a game changer. MCET will NEVER be able to commercialize anything on its own without substantial help from a third party. But I'm not about to rule out a third party coming on board... Holding :)

I appreciate a strong dose of skepticism as much as anyone, however, I take great offense to our new board being portrayed as the equivalent to the scum bags. Missing a deadline by 48 hour to provide a an update which states nothing, is not the same as falsifying documents and posting a series of fraudulent PRs.

He is an unpaid director. He's essentially a volunteer. Any Girl Scout group in the country is in better shape financially and in terms of resources than what these director's inherited. This is not Apple or GE or Exxon. Our volunteer directors are doing the best they can. Give them just a little leeway...

Probably not a bad call if it goes there. I think this will bounce back at some point, the question will be at what volume and how sustainable? The big breakthroughs are years away. The science is still in the initial stages. FUNDING is the key to get the stock moving again. If a major partner steps in, I can see the stock really gaining new life. However, those on this board who think petri-dish science is the same as large FDA-approved randomized controlled trials (RCTs) are not only clueless, but reckless...

If the CDs could be recovered/located, then the LOC might exist, but without any assets, the LOC is torpedoed.

There is $13.5M in missing assets. I am shocked somebody is not going after that missing piece of the pie. Michelex probably can't because they have no money!!

What exactly did you read six months ago? That would have been October 1, 2011. We hadn't even started removing the scum bags at that point. The new board was appointed on February 4th, 2012, which was less than two months ago.

I'm as anxious as anyone to see this turned around, but I'm not sure it's realistic to expect much in the first 60 days.

Remember, most of us bought our shares under previous management(s), not this group. They are not responsible for the issues at hand. Further, they are our only hope at a recovering any of the money we've lost due to the actions of the previous regime. Bashing them at this point may make you feel better, but it's counter productive.

I know how hard they are working on saving Michelex. It makes no sense to provide an update when things are very fluid. They didn't inherit a reporting company with tidy book-keeping. They inherited a nightmare. The scum bags lied, cheated and stole, that much we know. However, they didn't leave a checklist and book of receipts to help the new officers once they were ousted. It's going to take some time...

If your 9-year-old had inherited a paper route from Sabir Saleem, Midhat Syed and Albert Lacle, you'd probably see a more complicated picture. Those idiots did a number on our MLXO!!

Let's be clear: This company was a complete cluster you-know-what. That was the reason shareholders (with the exception of Elcheepo), decided to take action and have the scum bags removed.

It will take some time for the new officers to get things sorted out, but I think by mid-April we'll be seeing what transparency under the new regime will look like. I expect it to be MUCH more credible.
