Everything is bad for this company, news - price drops, no news price drops. Still holding but written off as a total loss.
I am cheering for ford but he also was pushing an options strategy for people to take a long position in January of '11 and that probably didn't pan out to well. at least people who followed his strategy didn't lose as much as those who held the stock.
I really hope so! I think it can, hopefully we're just experiencing profit taking and selling from those who were just looking for a quick buck.
Hopefully, but it still makes one sick to see it dropping like this. Can they avoid the fallout from what looks like immanent disaster in Greece?
I think you know tis but I was kidding.
And down she goes! Oh well, hopefully just profit taking.
It's just a better buying opportunity dontchaknow
Busted through 3 in pre market!
great outlook!
I guess my little engine just couldn't do it : ( I am confident that this is a good place to be long though.
i think i can i think i can . . .
Congratulations.
I am hopeful, it's slipped a bit here but hopefully a nice closing rally.
Good feeling slipping a little.
Feeling good this morning. We've held pretty well considering the "missed" earnings and that we're past the dividend cutoff.
I hope so, but if I had a buck for every board on here where people are saying the same stuff about stocks that never go anywhere, I wouldn't be whining about my (unrealized) losses.
I own this stock - I think an honest dialogue is useful and the negative is just as important as the positive. But whatever go opmg rah rah
Um, that's just weird, I'm sure she gets enough crazy calls and besides who cares what she says? Who care's what any of these people say - they've said a whole lot. All I care about is what they DO. And JB didn't DO phoneguard any favors by not stopping by for a photo.
Very Very close eh? I'll believe it when I see it. Contract or no contract he could've posed for a picture at least, I wonder how much the Alex Brown foundation had to pay him? Seems like he would be all over pumping phoneguard if for no other reason than to stop texting and driving which he seems to care so much about, never mind the fact that whatever stock he's purchased would go up. It just doesn't make any sense to me. But I sat on my (rose colored) glasses a few months ago so don't pay me any mind.
Very close? Wow, he must have really been down about his buddy not stopping in for some pics at the show huh?
How much you wanna bet that the "hard launch" will be further delayed due to complications arising from the "merger".
What exactly is there to be so excited about? We have one company that doesn't generate revenue (except by selling stock) buying another company that doesn't seem to generate much if any revenue either? I hate to be a pessimist but it just looks like the same crap these penny stock companies pull all the time to deflect investor suspicion.
Not to mention we're talking about a product that may save lives, but is also an inconvenience. Personally, I'd never use it. Our only hope is legislation making it mandatory and I don't know how that would make me feel. To me, it's like speed humps, they seem like a great idea but beware the unintended consequences.
So, why do people "bash" maybe because they want potential investors to have their eyes wide open and avoid making some of the same mistakes we did - I'm down a whole lot in this stock and it makes me sick that I should've seen it coming.
Does anyone else here get the feeling that there might be sinister powers (bush / obama) who will do anything to keep ford down and elevate gm to show what a great "investment" it was to bail them out?
Yep, I think I saw a couple. one where they were cruising around in the opmg exec's maserati, but it wasn't "the today show" I'm pretty sure both I saw were local news, here's some. Great publicity - not disputing but where's the sales?
Interesting, maybe out dated, maybe manta's info is all complete garbage because on illume's own web site they only mention the Izup, not all those other types of software.
right, there has never been an example of a stock tanking while people were bashing it. They always go up when people doubt them, that's the best advise ever, we should start a fund based on this principle.
I'm not bashing, I'm just tired of the hot air, seen it too many times and this one smells just like the others. We'll still be here arguing about when this thing is going to take off in 5 years.
I tried, the only mention of revenue is what the management team did for revenues at other co's. That's the point, both of these companies have been working to put out cutting edge apps for years and gotten where? Anyone here know any bootstrappers with exp in the app business? Is it unrealistic to epect these guys to be either sinking or swimming by now?
Only revenue info I could find for illume and that could just be investment returns from the millions they've raised.
http://www.manta.com/c/mtcf7w2/illume-software-inc
And maybe those who're selling their shares under .01
But wouldn't it be a conflict of interest to serve on both boards while things were being ironed out. It smells really bad and one thing I've learned big names on boards don't mean squat.
looking at illume, very similar to opmg, raising lots of money & making big talk for several years but sales numbers? Kerrey (not John but Bob from NE) and Daschle have been with them for several years and what's it gotten them?
So a company with no revenue is going to buy another company that is already making sales (or claim to be - anyone find revenue figures for them?)
Check out the advisory board http://www.getizup.com/about/advisory_board/ scary - tom dashcle? bob kerrey? and they already share leo hindry with opmg? that's kind of odd, that he'd be an adviser for companies that were up till just now competitors.
Is it me or does this sound like just another pennyland shell game?
If it's such positive news, why the drop in share price?
Yes. But apparently they did underestimate all three other quarters and overall they are .14 or 7.8% over projections for the year.
Lets hope so. Not selling, added at 12.70 - oh well.
Right, I meant in general since earning announcement.
"ford posts largest profit since 1998" - so why the backslide? My fault for not selling into the news but I believe in this company.
Ah ok, well, it seems like they should have theese things set before they blow money on pr's that do nothing but disappoint.
wouldn't they do that before announcing that it'd be in the stores for sale for Christmas? A song just popped into my head, it's beginning to look a lot like ..
There must be some truth to it or cellairis wouldn't have let them in their booth and would be taking legal action. It's just sad but I'd love to hear blueskies or any of the others who are still gung ho on this stock comment.
Gee, there sure is a lot to read here. Has the boat left yet? I mean, besides the one that had my money in it.
I detest the mall so I haven't been to my local cellairis kiosk, but I did go to their web site and searched "phoneguard" and "drive safe" and "drivesafe" and guess what I got, nothing. What exactly is this cellairis partnership about? Opmg released in November that they'd be carrying it in their stores, why wouldn't they carry it online? Just curious that's all.
Right, but didn't he excercise a lot of warrants, thought a number was tossed about, and he could have sold the shares well over .01 and taken us all for suckers. If he was invested - I think he'd have stopped by at least don't you think?
