Get over it guy. Those days are gone for good.
I am following HB or Ariad to the ends of Earth without hesitation.
Some handle loss of money worse than others. Agreed on that point
It's been 20+ years! How long does he need to wait?
It's not an macro thing. Even if the macro market moves, Ariad will not move proportionately. The company is trapped. High MC, no more access to capital, huge bloated burn and a clueless CEO with a useless board and 20 something VP's like its EFFIN AMGN.
It does have some value in its drugs to someone who has the capital and knows WTF they are doing.
So hoping for a rebellion and a sale.
I think that's what they call capitulation. Prob around the bottom.
The good news is that Denner is not going to sit around and watch Berger waste his investment.
If he starts to sell, that means it's hopeless. I'm taking my lumps if that's the case.
He will never leave, it's his baby. It's obvious to anyone with 1/2 a brain that he's unable to be objective. He must be pushed out for shareholders to ever see any substantial pps increase. Hopefully Denner will do his job and increase ROI.
Once Ponatinib crapped out, the business model became completely unsustainable. That's why it's a $5 stock.
Yeh no worries...$5
I will say it 100 times if necessary. Ariad investors (of which I am one unfortunately) should pray daily that Berger is forced out.
Otherwise it will be another 20+ years of no shareholder value.
More importantly, why did someone die in his car?
Reminds me of the Goodfellas scene
"Be respectful and nice...don't criticize and blame...don't call for them to be fired"
Maybe he should send them a Christmas card and a fruitcake
What's to defend Mr. "Ariad's under accumulation everyday JMHO"?
Feuerstein wrote an article that Iclusig had serious AE's and Berger emphatically denied it. Even called a special "if you knew what I knew" press conference to dispute the Favus report.
The FDA dropped the hammer on Ariad so who was lying? But still you guys bash AF and idolize Berger, go figure.
Answer this:
Who was lying about the Iclusig AE's
AF or your hero Berger?
What would I know about getting the CEO of a publicly traded company removed?
Pray Denner knows!
This is the same AF who reported that there were significant safety issues with Icludig even as your hero Harvey Berger claimed there were none.
Remember that? Perhaps you forgot
You and the rest of the delusional Bergerites here should pray daily that Denner is able to force out Berger.
If not, your investment is dead money.
Oh, and as their potential is concerned, any potential this company might have is offset completely by the dilution that will be necessary in order to bring anything to market. And that's a big if anything Ariad ever produces anything that is commercially viable. So far it's been 20+ years and they have yet to prove they are capable of producing anything that.
Would anyone like to dispute that fact? Would you like me to put up a few charts of some other biotechs you could have invested in that were been started in the 90's as Ariad was?
And that's not just my honest opinion that's just the facts Jack.
The $5 price tag even with a successful activist pushing his agenda is a screaming tell of what a complete and unmitigated disaster this company is right now.
Hear this you Kool Aid drinking Berger lovers: Harvey Berger is a pathological liar who drove the ship into the iceberg, however you continue to talk about him like he is a messiah.
It's pathetic.
What's the potential?
When it comes to Berger, I don't have any desire to be civil.
Unfortunately I have earned that right.
"If not for the toxicity" is like saying if not for a few inches I'd be a pornstar.
Don't forget to add to your verbose glowing depiction of the great Dr Berger that he is a pathological liar who pounded the table on numerous occasions how there were no issues of side effects for his baby.
Yeh that someone in the know has done a great job of creating shareholder value while he collects a mil + salary and free options every year.
Which Kool Aide is he giving out? Fruit punch or Grape?
And here I was thinking it is because I bought again
Their cash position is not very strong
Yes he is a marvelous CEO. IPO in 1994 @ $8.
He's a champ!
I know never to trust one word he says ever again.
Make that Favus
Stupid iPhone!
Hate to disagree but Berger actually held the now infamous "if you knew what I knew" press conference in response to the AF article citing Elliot Fargus.
Perhaps you can help me understand your man crush for this guy. I don't get it
Certainly not at $20.
Unfortunately, I believe I am the undisputed holder of the title of "dumbest biotech investor". I held an absurd amount of Ariad right through the "EPIC" Ponatinib failure.
In addition, I'm fairly confident I can handle Blade and Iandy in an arm wrestling match ;0), so just give me the belt now.
Seems to be contagious.
You and Blade should arm wrestle for the title of least knowledgable biotech investor of BV. :0)
I guess you have moved on from your Ariad pump huh?
I find AF a lot more credible than The Daily Mail, Jim Birchenough and Harvey Berger.
Isn't CTIC a RKRW SI charity pick?
Hate to disagree, Berger was pounding the table that the SAE's were non event while they were getting same feedback the FDA was getting. Recall the if I could buy more speech?
They (he) insisted on 45 mg in order to prevent all mutations. We know how that worked out.
He deserves to be removed. As a former badly burned shareholder, I hope the activist push him out. He steered the ship right into the iceberg.
You should too, Ariad stock would go up 25% that day if it should occur.
You should be very cautious with anything he says. He is deceitful at best.
Stock is prob a little cheap here. I'm a buyer should it get to 6 again. Good luck
What many other drugs does aria have in the pipeline?
PGS
Mind if I ask your thoughts on the future of Ponatinib in settings other than T315/salvage?
Thanks
"Harvey steps up to the plate"
What exactly do you expect Berger to come out swinging with?
He has already completely screwed shareholders with his rhetoric and BS.
Do you really think anything he says has any credibility at this point?
Yes they will
It's amazing, anyone can make money in stocks.
A- it's $130,000 a "pop" not $115,000
B- in case u haven't heard, it's now indicated for people who have no other option, so insurances will have to pay for it
C- if you can't afford it, Ariad will give it to you for free.
As far as valuation is concerned, since more than 2/3 of Iclusig's potential market is (for now) gone, I'd say 1.3 bil (+/- 500k) mc is probably fair value.
Everything else around here is pure BS
Yes prob is I used FIFO for some shares I sold earlier in the year and I was stuck with it for these.
Those effin morons have made that board unbearable.
In light of the new label, do you think it is properly valued at 1 change bil mc?
