Ya, he only gets to take home $2.6m Dew...
GILD insiders feel the heat of competition that is fast approaching and is going to slap the sp around a little bit to the down side.
It isnt possible that Harvey Berger is running 2 companies is it??
Thanks Dew. I have a special place in my heart for $FMI and enjoyed the haircut yesterday. Added a few hundred shares. Let the God's take it from here.
G$
Dew,
Do you think there could/will be M&A in FMI space? Or are the approaches of these diagnostic tests so different from company to company that there would be no technical synergies?
G$
They need a lot of cash for trials. 20m shares would top off their cash tank at about $200m....and yes dilute the shit out the shareholders
Believe this will be classic early doom followed by a few $$ pop over the next few months in anticipation of late year updates. Just wish I had some disposable income.
regards,
G$
ok...out on a limb. 20m shares at @ $8....
I like the data too but todays action smells bad.
great idea 2da. Write a letter with your typical eloquence and we will start a twitter campaign etc. Bombard these lazy M0%$^&*%$ers
Dont know if this is the best site but you get the idea

So the discussion happened and the decision was made on the recommendation to CHMP.
Any day now
You should pray to whatever deity you worship that Dr.D doesnt leave. If he does, you can bet everything you have that good old Ariad will be sub $1.
.....if it's for a large patient population, it will be huge.
it could be huge....in 5-10 years.
The only thing that makes sense dog is to sell at least half or your Ariad and pick up some incredible bargains showing themselves today.
ENTA
TGTX
FMI
ACAD
All of the above are so cheap while Ariad even at $4 is expensive.
It is exactly what I did a while back and my portfolio exploded. Very nice.
Or keep your ulcers....your choice
G$
PGS,
I appreciate the science in your answer and I rely on those types of answers as I wouldnt even pretend to have that depth of knowledge in that arena. So thanks.
...could be cleared out by the patient just as quickly, thereby negating the therapy.
May come across as naive but...how is that not known already? I get the lack of human dosing as a primary reason but that just seems like science....and determinable. Has this been mentioned by TR as a concern?
G$
deficient risk mitigation strategy
I would say if you arent 100% invested in a market sector or sectors 100% of the time then you will simply be less wealthy over the long haul. However, I will give you the angle that retired/older folks should be a bit more in cash....although I personally dont believe that.
Because it's in your portfolio?
Of course that is part of it. However, besides Stanford U, TR seems to be the public play in CD47. Proof of concept appears to be established. Also, looks like the potential for several targets exist as well.
Also, I'm still concerned about potential immunogenicity...
Not sure what you mean here as producing immune response is exactly what IO is....is it not?
$ENTA
$TGTX
$SCTPF (After r/s and nasdaq listing)
But thats just me.
G$
Believe me bw1, I share your enthusiasm. I am wholeheartedly a TGTX supporter since $5.05 where I decided that half of my substantial, long held Ariad profit would reside.
Ariad's Iclusig was also front line CML in my mind a while back. I cant even fathom where that pps would be now had that "inevitably" been the outcome.
BL, I dont think there are many shots on goal that have this potential
Best,
G$
...and each data point makes it ever more obvious that a buyout here is inevitable
Can you imagine investor success if "inevitable" was an actual actionable truth in biotech?
I happen to agree that a buyout is possible but I think we all know that nothing is inevitable here
G$
I believe everyone who thinks that there is actually a "God molecule" (what a ridiculous expectation) coming out should refocus their rational thought and understand that there simply isnt anything of the sort coming out of the Red Herring lab at Ariad. If there was it would already be out there. This entire Harvey Berger operation is designed to shore up the investor base while he figures out how to draw a paycheck before he gets thrown out the door by unsatisfied owners of his company. Puff puff give......
G$
We probably wont see any Ariad movement based on NVS' unethical business practices because it simply has zero to do with Ariad. The true largest surprise is that NVS hasnt been forced to shutter up and divest all of their assets. They are simply a white collar criminal enterprise that nobody has the balls to deal with.
$10 or sub category.
G$
I see it as a lack of interest all around given the recent data releases and forums for such. Absolutely no change to the story in the last couple of weeks and wont be barring significant news.
G$
Is there any more insight into why T.Clackson was not present today at WB?
So it was an analogy that nobody else got either....got it.
I am not grasping the 'the great pretenters' analogy....
What specifically was "EXCELLENT" about it?
So who wins....BB's or Ichimoku? Nice to have you back btw
It's the single malt lax. But glad you enjoyed it
Thanks Doug. Looks pretty objective although '113 still under appreciated. Dont think it would be if Iclusig hadnt shit the bed early creating leadership doubt.
Regards,
G$
Actually a pretty decent ASCO. Ariad was mentioned often in different forms of media..seemingly more than most("also ran" CLVS more, but for neg reasons). 6 different mentions on CNBC(that I know of)today. If you are short you might think about covering, although I really hope you dont. I cannot wait to fry all of you.
The Balvenie single malt and I are starting to smell the smoke.
Good night all
G$
Nice to see AP26113 is now being called BIC in some camps. From also ran to BIC in 3 days. CLVS now the also ran....but some of us knew that already.
HB on CNBC sometime today...per Meg Tirrell tweet
leptomeningeal metastasis
Now we can add 5% of breast cancer patients to the AP26113 scope.
AP26113
To minimize the early-onset pulmonary symptoms observed, two additional dosing regimens were examined in the phase 2 portion of the trial: 90 mg per day for 1 week followed by 180 mg per day (n=28) and 90 mg per day continuously (n=10). The incidence of early onset pulmonary symptoms in these two dosing regimens was 0 of 28 and 1 of 10 patients, respectively. Overall, only 1 out of 38 patients (3%) who began dosing at 90 mg per day had early-onset pulmonary symptoms.
Obvious winner. If Iclusig were front line today and Ariad had even a single bit of credibility, AP26113 would move the needle a few bucks...it is a life saver. Right now, it should be for sale
At least we arent voting to approve more shares for issuance....which is a complete stunner.
Per the Annual meeting proxy....
Here is one reason why Iclusig wont be a true presence in GIST...unfortunately.
From the 2014 ASCO abstract..
Enrollment of new pts is on hold due to safety observations in other ponatinib trials; enrollment criteria are being revised to include only pts with failure of all 3 TKIs approved for GIST. NCT01874665
To me it now becomes a waste of time and money to pursue GIST.
G$
<sigh> and as I previously posted, it is irrelevant. These suits simply don't go anywhere.
lol...ok when we see FMR and a few more of the big boys in on the action then it becomes something besides a shit heels 2300 shares
Havent read Flash Boys have you?
I highly doubt that the "Ariad investors" that they cite even exist. If they did, they would name them. All just noise. I would also doubt that collectively we could come up with 2 companies where there was ever any successful suit of this kind in biotech.
