I continue to look at this as an investment. This is a ground floor business that is being built piece by piece. I have done that myself several times. My most sucessful business took 3-5 years to work out and when it did we made tons of money. I am not stressing near to the point that some in here are. Rather I am patient and realize they need time, in my opinion a lot of time. However, yesterday was a step forward. I will step aside, continue to read about Quasar, on occassion come in here and generally go about my life. This idea that the site needs to be monitored 24/7 is silly. This is an idea developed by a thinker/entrepreneur who has now taken on some quality people. In and of itself this does not guarantee success. But it sure is a great step forward.
I think I'll go to the grocery store and then come home for a short nap.
I absolutely agree, Banker!
Couldn't agree more, slow and steady. One item at a time. that is how this investment will grow to $.05 then $.10 etc.
Actually, what you posted does not apply. I never acted as if nor do I feel that I am "in the know." I mean no offense but please do not lump all longs together. It is incorrect and it is inappropriate.
Good luck to all of uus.
Much thanks for your wisdom!
I am a veteran and have been in a while. I certainly don't consider myself "in the know." Further, I don't see myself as an expert nor do I have the answers. I don't know where some of you get this stuff from. You do not know me or my situation.
I bought in for a short period of time. I was wrong and now it is an investment.
I intend no personal insult but your post was just not necessary.
Believe me, you are not the first one to have that thought.
Sorry, I misunderstood. I agree with your comments. I like his vision and respect his desire to make this happen but think help is needed.
I realize that but what has that to do with QASP? Are you actually comparing him to Mr. Bradley?
What in the world are you talking about?
My wife and I have full confidence that things will work out to some extent. We do, however believe it will take a few months and that Mr. Bradley will need to bring in some help as he proceeds with his vision. When/if this projects takes off I expect it to eventually level off in the $.10-$.15 range which would be terrific in my mind.
Ceertainly. You win an award for whatever you think is appropriate. Again, no offense whatsoever intended but I will never ever understand the point of these type of posts.
My wife and I will be here until the tale is told.
Banker, IF they have a proper plan in place that would insure profitability from the aquisitions I would think they could fund this by years' end.
I am a 60 year old father of 5, including 4 teenagers, lol. I tell you this because I am fighting some health issues and this has not helped. However, we do need to think about Mr. Bradley. Stress is a nightmare for all of us. In a separate post I suggested that he needs to be kicked "upstairs" and allow young and talented pros to come in.
I really do commend him on the vision he has for this project.
Now I can't wait to see the well thought out genious responses I am about to get.
You make several great points. However, even though I go on and on about my years of experience I have made a couple of mistakes with this "security." Funny thing is that if/when this returns to break even I would probably keep 25%. Just goes to show you that even a grizzled veteran would do it again, lol.
You make several great points. However, even though I go on and on about my years of experience I
We share similar thoughts. When I spek of "concept" I mean that I, too was attracted by Mineseeker. Actually, I still am, lol.
Thanks for your thoughts!
I have had the same thought for a few weeks. I like the idea of Dean bringing in a real ro or two and being kick "upstairs."
My friend, I am a veteran of 40 years of business. I am good, not great. However, what I am is experienced. Having said that, I can assure you that with this concept there are "players" looking at this. There is no way that the right investor(s) would not see this as an opportunity once they are convinced that the aquisitions are still out there.
Again, I will say that funding is not the problem.
I, too am really sick of the naysayers here. In my world when there are problems we don't Bitch and moan and makes jokes. Especially we don't point fingers.
Certainly my wife and I are concerned. How can we not be? But we are not moaning and groaning and blaming others. We made the decision to get in and we have made the decision to stay in.
I like the concept of the business and I actually believe that once the proper financing is in place it will work. Financing is tough, especially in this day and age. But, trust me when I say that it is out there. Once a solid, sustainable business plan is in place the money will follow. Through all of this I have not been the least bit concerned about financing. My concern is that a good and proper plan is put in place by real pros.
I remember a great line from "My Fair Lady." Rex Harrison played Henry Higgins and at one point, out of extreme frustration he said,
"Damn, Damn, Damn, Damn, Damn."
I remain here to stay. To a large extent there is no reason to get out. I am a businessman who has had successes and failures. Certainly this does not look promising. However, IF this is a viable idea and IF it is a viable business then funding will be available. As I have said over and over, it either works or it doesn't."
Yet again, we consider this an investment. We did not start out that way but that is the reality. I am here, comfortably, for a year or so. Doesn't mean I am thrilled but I am here. This may work and it may not. You don't know and neither do I.
Really, I hadn't noticed.
Good idea, let's start listening to you instead.
And?????
Thanks, Banker.
Very nice, thanks!
Of course I/We need more. You are not alone, we all have reduced PPS.
Again, where is your DD and concrete information showing this is a scam? I am a fairly knowledgeable business type and I share your frustration. However, in my world I rely on facts and accuracy, not being upset or angry.
Finally, I am very sincere when I ask you for your information.
And???? When you have a moment it would be great for you to share your information, DD etc. with the rest of us. I, for one would really apprecaite all the help you can provide.
Thanks!
And yet again, the point of your post is?????
therin lies the problem, lol.
Now that is really funny!
About this time last night I suggested a poster get in a quick nine, have a beer and a good nights sleep. Same advice tonight. My beautiful wife is making me a martini as I type this.
My point is that I am heavily invested, wish it was proceeding a little faster but understand that these things take time, sometimes years.
I am located in North Carolina, about 5 hours from Kiawah. I don't need QASP to go to a dollar like everyone else. If the PTB get it even a little together and it goes to $.10-$.15 in the next year I might be on my way, lol.
Last year I purchased a known stock that had dropped from over $10 to $.80. I just got out around $16. Dumb me bought all of 1000 shares. I didn't want to risk it. If I had, well,,, I would be at kiawah Island playing the Ocean Course right now.
This has been my point all along. It took me about 3-4 days to realize that this was not a normal pink. It is in fact an investment. I may not have gotten in to hold but I have plenty of other investments. Some do well some don't. Nature of the beast!
Sorry, my friend you are very very wrong. And I am curious why that is of such interest to you.
Do you mean the same as I do everyday. Okay, I just did. And?
Let's let it play out. This is not a contest between investors. It either works or it doesn't.
