Good Morning, good volume yesterday.
Maybe will see a bounce in the morning, strong volume today.
Looks like that has been taken care of.
I respectfully disagree, IMO This could be a good flipper.
IMHO this is a good place to load, hearing some good news may be right around the corner.
Very nice volume!
Regardless where it closes, a whole lot of traders made some money this morning.
Great info, thanks! Tomorrow looking good IMHO
Nice, crazy pre-market action.
Good Morning, Traders!
Nice close on Friday, cannot wait to see is what to come this week.
Nice action the past week. Looks to be signs of the good things to come.
Lots of potential, imo.
Looking for a bounce this morning!
RBR-TVBR analysis
Man, oh man, radio and television stocks stormed out of the starting gate in 2012. Nearly all were up for Q1, with most up double digits and a couple up triple digits. After a mixed showing in 2011, broadcasting stocks are beginning 2012 with gains likely based on investor enthusiasm about the upcoming election windfall.
The big gainer in Q1 was Spanish Broadcasting System. After a tough 2011, which saw a reverse stock split and a Nasdaq delisting threat, the company reported strong Q4 results just before Q1 was ending and turned a gradual advance into a moon shot. In just three months the common stock of SBS gained 125% to end Q1 at $6.75. Don’t you wish you’d invested three bucks in a share just before the New Year?
As small as SBS is, an even smaller company was the #2 performed in Q1. Light Media Holdings, a penny stock company that owns one radio station and some Internet and gospel record assets, doubled in value to a dime a share.
Sticking with a religious theme, Christian radio/Internet specialist Salem Communications gained 83% for the quarter. That might have something to do with Salem becoming a dividend paying stock. Money talks.
In our TV stock list the pure play companies were not at the top, since Wall Street traders had already placed their bets on a big political year. Rather, SBS, with a small TV segment in addition to its large radio portfolio, was at the top. Meredith, which has been outperforming its magazine peers with its female focus, gained 48%.
Journal Communications is more a TV company than anything else, but its strong balance sheet let it expand in radio in Q1. It gained 28% for the quarter.
How well did broadcasters do against the broader market? The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 8% in Q1. Not bad. But the RBR Radio Index was up 26% and the TVBR Television Index gained nearly 12%.

Cannot wait for the next bounce.
Slow day today for the most part. Not too much to discuss, other than trying to load more at the dips.
