AFPW setting up for rebound, major volume
any of you guys use a canadian discount broker? I'm shopping for a new one because TD Waterhouse is killing me with the 30$ commission.. Right now I'm looking at scotia I-trade (also known as E-trade and Trade Freedom),quest trade and fidelity. Right now quest trade seems to be the best offer, but is it too good to be true? Ugh I hate only having 15 posts a day.
looks like someone just took a huge dump...
AFPW Lands Military Purchase!
I was hoping for more than a 4% increase in SP on purchase order news, but it seems like most of the hype came early within the last 2 days, I don't know what it will take to get this SP soaring but I am losing my patience.. I would like to see a 40% increase not 4% on this kind of news.
wait are u using a market or limit order? if you want to buy at the current ask price use a market order and it should be filled asap, although if you are buying more than available at the current ask you will pay more for the remaining shares, you could also place a limit order slightly higher than the current bid price to make you offer the best a seller could get at the moment to try and get him to settle for your price not his (assuming nobody has placed a market buy order)
green, that's more like it ;), lets tighten this spread boys! We could hit 7s, even 8s with ease today!
maybe the specialist is keeping the spread wide because hes uncertain where the SP is heading today, not sure the differences between a specialist on a NYSE stock and a money maker on an OTC though..
AFPW Gets first order from Canadian Armed Forces
AFPW Gets it's first purchase order from Canadian Armed Forces!!!
huge news!!! I have been waiting for this for months, looks like the CAF were the first to bite, why is the spread so wide? someone buy at market please :P
the big volume and SP increase continues :)
ohh, thx for the heads up I didn't realize, I am just really pissed at the flyers right now.. anyways this isn't about hockey.
Oh if you are new to investing, one thing; don't smoke and trade at the same time ;) Markets close at 4, gives you time to roll a J and bam it's 4:20 lol.
thx for the L2, looks promising!
yeah, I my the mistake of buying on the peak of a pump at .073, Should of just waited and picked them up at .030. Hindsight is always 20/20 :S
looks like we have a new resistance at .05 and support 0.04
really nice to see these numbers again. If only we could hit the 8s.
lol, yeah, it's hard trading from an igloo, but at least I have peace and quiet, Canada is so vast you can go weeks without seeing another person ya know, my polar bear keeps me company though.
:)
Don't be ignorant. Terrorism is almost as much as a threat to Canada as the US. Almost. They have just been lucky enough to stop them before they struck, such as the plot to blow up the TSX and kidnap and murder government officials. Being friends with the states can make you some enemies :P.
There is never an excuse to not have an army.
Very nice post, but remember the have never told us which army they did the testing process with, they have always kept it a secret, but they did release a picture with 2 Canadian soldiers in full fatigue next to the PBS-1000 at one point so it's pretty safe to assume it was them.
well it's hard to judge at this point, all our momentum vanished, yesterday was totally out of the blue. If the trend continues I may sell half of my holdings. Regardless I want to see where AFPW takes me a year from now. If I sell I am buying back at some point.
The way I see it, I am a long in AFPW, but I bought in at the .07s, so I welcome a pump and dump because it will enable me to dump my shares at break even, then buy back when it hovers around the 3s and 4s again.
AFPW is setting up for a big run!
power source for military fire bases. That would be HUGE.
well the PBS-1000 is a portable generator designed for weather balloons and pretty much anything else that requires a portable generator. What part is replaced exactly I'm not sure, but obviously it's the propulsion part. The Best part of AFPW's tech is eliminating the need for K-cylinders (big heavy gas tanks).
AFPW is setting up for a big run... :)
contracts, not yet. But the CAF helped them develop the PBS-1000 for military purposes. So they have ties with the American DOD and Navy, and Canadian Army... ;)
Plus there is strong reason to believe that the 8 month military testing period was conducted by the Canadian Armed Forces.
(they are seen in photos with the generator)
holding is paying off for us ;)
Hey hello to everyone new to AFPW, if you do your DD on this company you will LOVE it!!!
ahhh, well if you have L2 i'm sure yours is more accurate.
im getting 0.034 x 0.05 from TD waterhouse webroker's free real time quotes.
Ihub shows 0.034 x 0.044
I dunno whats right, weird.
bid/ask: 0.034 x 0.05
Size: 5000 x 5000
Volume: 348,875
Last SP: 0.045
44, oh this is sexy xD
damn 41! major volume this is sweet, i think our resistance just became our support!
Haven't seen a day looking this bright for AFPW in awhile, hit and holding at the resistance and already over the daily average volume by noon :)
nice to see the 4s again.
Hi, I am new to trading and I have been learning about scalping as a day trader. One thing I can't find the answer to is the differences between the NYSE and OTCBB that effect a scalper the most? Does the specialist work any different from NYSE? Is the best route for a new day trader to start on OTCBB before moving up to NYSE? What about the TSX, does that work the same as NYSE as well? I know those are big questions with I am sure, much bigger answers, but I can't find solid answers anywhere. What is the best route for someone interested in scalping but is totally new to the stock market and doesn't have thousands to start with?
