Most may know this but in case you dont....found this at the google groups board....http://www.clinicaltrials.gov Nothing posted about ACT as of Sunday night but probably shouldnt be expected until Monday sometime if go is the word.
I dont know why either Rocky. It would be a bad business decision at this point.
I dont envision a split happening at this point but even if that happens the FDA approval is still on the horizon which would mean a decent rebound from that I would think. But if a settlement is reached out of court then a split isnt likely.
That is probably what is keeping it down right now due to the related court case and the selling of a boat load of shares very cheap. Aa FDA approval soon, or later will jump the price Im pretty sure though. Hopefully this case is settled and out of the way very soon. Then the dilution stuff is history and price goes up in the near future! :) Im still buying now while its cheap and so are many others here.
I put in my order for a 1000 more shares today! :)
Im not too concerned about Geron and their hold. Comparing apples to oranges pretty much. Theirs is a case of problems with lab tests. Once ACT shows there are no adverse affects from the treatment, then its a go. ACT has a really good chance at getting the go-ahead once questions are answered, and Im pretty sure the FDA will have some questions before giving approval. As has been stated before, that's pretty typical procedure for the FDA to do that and no reflection on ACT or the treatment.
Im defintely middle class but I dont have 10k available by any stretch. I pretty much live paycheck to paycheck like a lot of folks. BUT you never get ahead in life unless you are willing to take risks. Therefore I continue to scrape up whatever I can and buy, usually a thousand shares every few weeks or so. I strongly believe that we that are holding on are gonna reap some MAJOR rewards in the not to distant future. Dont be one of the people that cusses themselves for selling and getting out due to panic or fear of loss. No way Im going to be one of those people. Ive only put in what I can afford to lose but I will keep doing that until the price reaches a point I cannot afford anymore.
Its gonna be worth a LOT more than .25 if you ride it out.
Yeah we gotta ride it out until that happens. A few people here are getting discouraged too easily. You cant just go by the day to day minimal movement of the price. Its gonna be that way until FDA approval comes around. Of course it could also be put on hold a bit while questions are answered..in which case I will keep on waiting. Its only a matter of time before good things happen.
I believe you guys are bailing out too quick on the company. I myself was not expecting much of a move just from ACT filing with the FDA. I think a good push will come with the approval of the FDA to begin trials.
I had planned to go long with the stock when I first started buying it a couple of years ago. That(ACT) was my first ever stock investment and I still have no regrets with it..even after it jumped to .26 then pulled back. I believe in the leadership of the company and the work they are doing. Thats why I will continue to add to it as time goes along. I think we all knew pretty much it was gonna be touch and go for a while with this company, and nothing has happened recently to change that much to this point. But thats why I decided to go long. The potential for this company is a tremendous upside in the future, whether its near future or years is pure speculation.
What exactly are MMs?
That's a great article!! I love how this industry is really starting to do things globally.Twelve days? I thought I had read somewhere else on here that it wouldnt be until the Spring before the response from the FDA. But maybe Im mistaken. GLTA....great things are coming down the pipeline.
I wrote an email to the writer of the article than ran in papers yesterday. It was really a nice piece but I needed to point out that he was not totally accurate when he said the embryo is destroyed when stem cells are removed. I told him about our secret in Massachusetts who has a method that cancels this argument. I'll post the response if I get one.
There was an AP story about this on the front page of the state paper here in Arkansas. News is getting out quickly. This story in print across the country could maybe cause a little run up tomorrow?? Who knows.
Wow that's great news! More and more postive news coming out! Especially when its compared to the trend for other companies in the same industry..which were much less!
Any PR is good PR for us.
Just keep on buying. I am! I do what I can afford which is around 700-1000 shares a month but Ive been doing that for a couple of years now. Ive held out for this long so I dont mind waiting a while longer and watching things unfold. I truly believe in time we will all come out of this with HUGE smiles on our faces.
Ok Rocky or someone else with knowledge fill me in...what happends to our stock if the company gets bought out down the road?
I bought at .10 at the opening bell Monday morning. Im not gonna take any chances with it shooting up then kicking myself for holding out for a lower price. Jump on it now bro.
Same here! I am completely long on this stock and also believe it will be my retirement and pay off the mortgage eventually. I plan on buying more this week through my zecco account. I too started with sharebuilder and have some ACTC through them but they are too picky on what stocks they carry. Almost impossible to find any decent penny stocks there.
So how many shares is everyone holding individually? Ive had over 7000 for over a year and will buy more. I am very convinced ACTC will take off at some point. Patience!
