I agree. Do you think NNVC was pressured into a partial shipment by all the negativity on Ihub or was it a natural flow of events. It troubles me that a year plus of lab work only produced 200 grams of Flucide. That's less than two ounces.
And, are you going to respond to every notice of an uptick?
Isn't it reasonable to expect that NNVC should have recognized the tissue sampling and analysis that would be necessary to prove distribution and retention of nanoviricides throughout the system. Not to have developed the protocols for conducting those tests during the long year when enough Flucide was being manufactured seems to me to be indefensible. They were able to hire consultants for other key functions, why not this.
I still believe in the science but I'm losing faith in the scientists. Many on this board, including myself, have called for the hiring of professional business managers. The good doctors seem to be incapable of getting this ox out of the ditch,
BK, do you still believe toxicity tests at BASi will be done with product from the old lab. If so, what do you read into the mixed message statements about having enough to do it now and the 10K statement that they are struggling to produce 200 grams of Flucide. Frankly, I am confused and worried. We get no definitive statements from Dr. Seymour or DR. Diwan as to when some actual goal will be achieved. Do you have start date in mind for tox testing? I've given up trying to guess.
A clear, concise statement to shareholders as to the current state of affairs would be very helpful. There have been so many conflicting statements that it is impossible for me to conclude where any NNVC development now stands.
The revival of Ebola has obfuscated everything. Did they do it for financial gain, for humanitarian reason, for a substitute strategy? What. Why did Seymour change his mind on no delay of Flucide due to Ebola to a six month delay. Putting the 10K aside, all the news and rumors of the last six weeks leave my head spinning.
Our future well being has always been stated by the officers as Flucide first. It appears that the difficulties encountered in driving Flucide to a successful conclusion have caused them to revive Ebola: either as a diversion or as a hopeful surrogate.
That doesn't explain the conflation of Flucide delays with the Ebola restart. I makes it worse. Seymour states that Ebola restart efforts will delay Flucide. He could not have known that on June 30th, the 10K deadline, since Ebola restart occurred just last month.
Yes, one is a statement of fact, the other is a weasel word.
If the information cutoff for the 10K was June 30, 2014, and the Ebola restart was just last month, how could that statement have been a legal part of the 10K.
The 10K predicted the shipment of tox testing material to Basi as "soon." Three months after June 30, NNVC is still predicting "soon". Soon seems to be an indeterminable date.
How does the 10K change your perspective?
Seymour said just a few days ago that reviving Ebola would have no effect on the Flucide development. Now, all of a sudden the 10K says it will delay Flucide six to nine months. Can anyone explain that? The 10K preparation and wording must have been known when Seymour made those comments. Then, three weeks ago, Lvus reported, after the Aspen speech, that the Flucide materials were complete and would ship to BASi shortly. What happened to that? Now we learn that the 'simple' scale up is not so simple after all, and clinical trials will not be completed until 2016-2017.
Dr. Seymour, does NNVC know what it is doing or are you just lying to us?
How soon is very soon. I hope that's not Bunny's "just around the corner."
"The perfect is the enemy of the possible."
I have. I was told to expect some great announcements this year. I'm still waiting.
To Dr. Seymour. We're not like Jack Nicholson's questioners in "A Few Good Men." We can stand the truth.
Dr, Seymour was emphatic that NNVC's revived Ebola program would not affect the Flucide Tox studies. If that's not what is delaying tox then pray tell me what the hell is? We are now two days away from the fourth quarter of 2014, a full year after dose ranging studies were done at Kard Scientific, with results indicating no or low toxicity. I want to know why NNVC hasn't been able to produce and supply sufficient product to BASi for them to conduct the studies. Enough is enough!!!!!!
Let's all pause and raise a glass of bubbly to the 100,000th post on the NNVC Ihub site. Congratulations Bunny.
Bunny, if you know something that's detrimental to NNVC, and is not insider information, why don't you share it with the rest of us?
Lvus,if as you reported tox materials for BASI were ready two weeks ago, why haven't they been shipped? Is NNVC sacrificing the possible while pursuing the perfect? If Seymour and Diwan have a plan here I wish they would let their investors in on it. This has moved far beyond ridiculous. I have been invested in this company for nine years and my patience and my money are running very thin.
Just do it!!!!!!!!!
I welcome that Dr. Seymour says that NNVC is still focused on Flucide and that the Ebola cide work is not a distraction. I certainly hope so. The easiest way to prove that is to ship the Flucide material (Which, according to Lvus is completed) to BASi and let them get on with the testing that they committed to over a year ago. The proof of the pudding (Flucide) is in the eating (testing.)
I'm glad you are unhurt. Did you get a license plate number or ID the driver?
If the original Ebolacide studies were done five years ago, why would it take all that time to publish the study results?
If you are correct, I would suggest that no mention should have been made of it at all until you were sure of the forthcoming announcement. All you have done is provide fodder for the other side to mock and deride.
Does that war-time footing extend to starting Toxicology tests at BASi?
Well, it's Monday, September 22, 2014. Where is the announcement that I expected based on Lvus' report from Dr. Seymour's presentation in ASPEN?. Either Lvus misunderstood or this is just another in a long line of disappointments from NNVC.
I'm pretty sure all that will be taken care of before the mass move to Shelton.
I believe the NNVC parking lot referred to is a public roadway for which the company should not expend funds.
I understand that the initial Ebola case came from eating infected bush meat. If apes and other infected primates come in contact with humans, can they transmit the disease in their bodily fluids. If so, any plan that puts humans in contact with primates would put the scientists at extreme risks. If there is some way to determine the infected animals, contain them, and inject them this might be a feasible plan, but there seem to be too many variables to quantify the risk/reward ratio.
No, it just levels the playing field.
Remember this is your "Seeking Alpha" recommendation, not ours.
Five percent of your portfolio.
Following some tests in Level 4 labs here. IMHO If this virus continues to multiply exponentially as Dr. Seymour suggests (300,000 by year end) then I think you'll see EbolaCide II in Liberia by December 15,
That's not what he said. He said they may begin tests in 30 days (NIH or Usamriid).
If Dr. Seymour's interview on Fox Business News is widely disseminated tomorrow it should spark a high level of interest in NNVC's Ebola program. He indicated tests within 30 days.
When?
These are questions that Dr. Seymour has refused to answer for months.
In a response in the 2nd quarter of 2014 Dr. Seymour said: June of 2014 +/- 3 months. Check it out. I'm just saying they're running out of time while investors are running out of patience.
Dr, Seymour said June 2014 +/- 3 months. The three months are up on September 30. As I said before ,NNVC's credibility is on the line.
