Gold hits $1,500
Gold hits intraday record at $1,500 an ounce

Cheers,

$1496.50 gold. only $3.50 shy of the big 1500
Looks like silver toes might actually fit into the golden boots
with plenty of wiggle room here.
Cheers,
D
Good point. I noticed the GDXJ is down slightly today as well.
Lode appears to still be in complete tandem with it. I expect our break out to come maybe even as soon as the permit upgrades get approved. Looking good and I'm very happy with all the latest PR. I'll be even happier once we start making money. All in due time.
Cheers,
D
This is interesting. US get's downgraded and dollar goes slightly up. Then again we have oil going slightly down. I believe the even bigger factor is the pull back in stocks in general. Every time we have some fear in the market and a pull back people go temporarily into cash.
The question is what are folks going to do with that idle cash now. Will they put it back into stocks on a pull back. Yes maybe so bu I'll bet that some will follow University of Texas and put some of that cash you know where. All in due time.
GO LODE!!!
$43.06 per OZ You are quite correct Ricky Bobby.
Have a good one.

Have a good weekend.
D
Yes it's interesting the physical metal's are having a great day but the gdxj as lagging abit. I expect it to play some catch up in the days and weeks to come.
Good luck to you.
Cheers,
D
I concur.
There is a little bit of cold feet here as we come close to hitting the physiological $1500 barrier. There might be some volatility off that price. Some people are showing up late to the party here as well. I'll be buying the dips along with you and everyone else. It's a little game of wait and see here. I'm long on gold and silver but like everyone else I want the best price. With regards to lode though I think we are still way undervalued so anytime is probably a good time to take a position. I already have my core and I'm looking to add more now before AMEX.
Cheers,
D
Good stuff.
What I'm hoping is that Comstock will eventually allow for a then and now mining tour. You could do a tour of the old mines and learn about the history of the comstock and then take a look at a modern operation through some kind of tour package maybe organized through the hotel. I think people would like to see something like that.
Cheers,

Agreed. Lode is now officially a member of the community.
Plus maybe we can get a discount on rooms for shareholders. wink

Fantastic news,

The crazy thing is these great results are from the east Lucerne. I'm surprised to see such good results. let's not forget that the Dayton is still expanding right now probably as I'm typing this too. Full steam ahead boys. Me likes this PR.
Cheers,
D
Fantastic. The fact that they have not defined the size of the resource yet is very encouraging to say the least. I'm also liking these high grade silver holes. I'm thinking we might hit our 3,250,000 gold equivalent ounces a lot sooner than anticipated. Looks like we might as well raise the target to 5 million now. wink.
Cheers.
D
Oops my bad. I was looking at average volume.
Looks like mini stair case going up. People waiting
for a big pull back that does not materialize?
Interesting trading here, different kind of action than
what we are used too. Looks like slow accumulation?
Cheers,
D
Looking like it's another high volume
trading day. 80,000 shares traded already.
Cheers,
D
Thanks for info. I'm sure the local community and the Lode can both come out of this as winners. The management is going about it in the right way. Once the questions are answered and fears put to rest hopefully the locals will see this is positive for there community. I think they will mostly come around.
Cheers,
D
Hey RickyBobby,
I'd like to go but I can't make it. Please take notes. I'll buy you a beer at the bucketO'blood some day.
Thanks,
D
Thanks yup I just noticed that myself. Good stuff.
Our valuation is rising exponentially with every dollar
rise in silver and gold price. I would not be surprised if the
the way junior minors are evaluated will rise soon as well.Aka buy out prices.
$300-$400 per oz buy out prices seams like a steal now that gold
is at $1452 and silver is almost kissing $40. I have a feeling the majors are going to have to pony up here.
Cheers.
D
Interesting read on gold silver ratio. Friend just sent it to me.

Congrats to all here you have slugged it out. I should go on vacation more often as good things with lode always seams to happen when I do. Just so you all know I'll be going on vacation again this summer. ha ha

Just listened to it again and...
Did that news caster say.
"If projections are accurate it may just be the largest strike ever"
What the #$%? ha ha. Dayton?
Let's hope so.

Yes it's good to have some impartial news coverage.

Hey new member.ha ha. Boy do you have alot of research to do.
Start with the company web site for sure. Then if you wanna know some history this a decent doc about the area.
The History Of Virginia City Part 1 of 7
Definitely ha ha. Ya thanks for that, still good to know. It's good to see Jolcover addressing the locals in a civil matter. At least they are communicating with them and being neighborly.
By the way this is slightly off the topic of lode so I opologize for this but because of the quake all this stuff in the middle east and oil has gone unnoticed. It's turning into real sh@t storm. Might be a flight to gold soon. Looks like the middle east
is about to go bannanas.

HAPPY SAINT PATTIES.
I'm gonna go throw back a few.
Cheers,

Ha ha, Interesting. Here is the key point though.
It's all on private land and this quote pretty much sums it up.
"Silver City resident and Lyon County Planning Commissioner Larry Wahrenbrock said he didn’t believe the board had much choice, because the owners can demolish the building if they choose."
I think it's good that the company is working with the locals
and trying to stay on good terms. But at the end of the day. It is a mining district and a privately held one at that. If you move into a mining town, you should have expected this may happen one day. They have no case. Comstock owns it along with the mining rights lock stock and barrel.
Yup. Back to square one.ha ha Hopefully this whole nuclear scare can be put to rest soon. Actually lode has held up quite well compared to some of the others in the sector so I'm hoping that's a good sign.
Best of luck to you Old timer,
Cheers,
D
Agreed. Still trying to clear some funds now. Hopefully the timing
will work out for me here ha ha. Looks like we are still tied to the gdxj. Looking for break out from that on Bonanza verification and production news. Plenty of good things to come in my opinion.
Good luck to you,
Cheers D
"Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits."
Thomas A. Edison
Wish I had the funds available to do the same.
Everything is getting killed today. This week is probably a good time to buy.
If they can get this reactor under control and it looks like they probably can. Here is what will probably happen next in my opinion.
1) Japan is now selling gold this week in order to raise capital for repair cleanup etc. This sell off is temporary and the metals bounce back.
2) I believe this horrible crisis in Japan is going to be inflationary in the long run here. Japan is pumping money like crazy into the markets right now and the US will follow suit. thus inflation
2) Japan is going to rebuild. This will put even more increased pressure on all commodities. Thus inflation
3) Saudi Arabia is a powder keg of unrest right now. The news in the middle east has been over shadowed by the Japan tragedy. Thus oil will be heading higher. thus inflation
Marshall Berol, co-manager of the Encompass Fund.
Has purchased shares in Lode for his fund.
In this interview says he likes the management.
Calls it a turn around, very attractive.
and has invested in it for the fund. etc etc.
It's all good.
Looks like some of the big boys are taking notice.
Fast forward interview to about 10:40

Thanks,
All positive signs for production etc.
Cheers,

Good stuff,
Liking this new CEO alot. Very clear and good communication thus far. Thanks for the update.
Cheers,
D
There are no hard and fast rules for this as there are many variables involved but what I can tell you is this. Our results are better than allied nevada's hycroft mine. Our production costs could also be lower. We will be highly profitable in my opinion.
There is no specific grade to determine a bonanza. It is generally referred to as.
bo·nanza (b? nan'z?, bo-)
noun
1. a very rich vein or pocket of ore
2. any source of great wealth or profits
http://www.yourdictionary.com/bonanza
When comstock mining refers to a bonanza they are saying they have most likely hit a rich vein. Our other drill results have been good but scattered thus far.
The comstock lode as we know it today was one giant silver vein that was mostly mined out. Comstock mining is now discovering it may infact spread out like the branches of a tree. This is why it is exciting to find a high grade delineated deposit or "bonanza"
Hope that helps.

D
