When you're trading pennies you don't believe anyone's rep. Assume everyone is out to give it to you.
This one was pretty blatant
1) The volume of the stock went way up while they were sending out alerts over an anonymous stock
2) They gave the weakest excuse that members overseas needed time to get organized as a reason to not release the name immediately
3) They depended on people's stupidity to jump right in at the open regardless of price. Actually this one was pretty smart on their part
4) they sent out another alert today pumping their picking ability and used a 0.10 entry despite the fact that the stock opened at 0.129
This was an obvious PnD, but even then you can still scalp a profit if you play it right
They also pumped MSLP, sent out an email alert at one price, closed it the next day at roughly the same price. Then several days later HSA made a post saying he was back in when it was much higher. Sure enough later they sent out an email alert and took credit for the full diff despite the fact that they initially closed the trade and missed most of the jump.
All the penny stocks are fun to read and can give ideas. But don't ever think you're in their interests.
< The excessive volume from 4-11 till yesterday...just coincidence??
gee isn't that when the email pumps started coming out touting the unnamed stock?
Funny thing is - someone asked him why he wasn't giving it out & he responded that time was needed for the overseas people to get alerted. Seriously.
He musta sent that note out by carrier pigeon.
Oh well, I jumped in after the initial hysteria and caught the 1st drop to scalp 2 almost 2 pennies.
You can always make money - even on scams. (well maybe not forthe poor ATRN folks - but that's another story)
well they would've saved some credibility if they didn't send out an email alert today calculating a % gain from their 0.10 entry call - when they refused to give out the ticker until it was 0.13
Never trust anyone - that's how I make money
don't know them
at least by those initials
The alerts started teasing when the unknown stock was 0.07, but for some reason the ticker couldn't be given out. Then when someone posted a question as to why, the answer was to make sure people overseas were on board????? Was the info being sent over by postcard?
Very convenient for all those who knew what that unknown symbol was a week+ ago.
Oh well, can still play it for a few pennies here & there (like I'm doing)
I understand they paid taxes. But the taxes paid were so low compared to previous, Delaware needs to make sure it's legit
<BTW, calm down. I AM your number one fan afterall!!! Well, I'm #1 and, well the ONLY 1.
1 is the lonliest number you know...
You mean the proof from Delware saying they have such a loss in assets that they need an explanation before accepting their tax payment?
Seems a lot more ocncrete than some of the bizarre buyout/merger postings that make a Kennedy conspirator look like a well respected researcher.
And you tied that to what the Delaware state gov't needs to have explained - oh that's right - you didn't.
<In any event it's nothing we should worry about.
Aren't you worried about what happened to all those assets they're not paying taxes on anymore and why the shareholders don't know anything about it?
<This company is still acquiring big new clients, still attending major conferences, still making money, still has the same high profile players, is still in the same exploding market, still has huge potential for major growth, still has all of the same M/A possibilities, and is still greatly undervalued, is it not?
LMAO - prove it when you'll have no supporting data from the company.
Better yet - prove it to potential buyers of the stock.
ATRN did it to save money as they listed in the release.
The reasons for going dark are immaterial. No one out these advises clients to invest long term in companies that are required to release financials, an no amount of kool-aid will change that.
The original point, one that more longs are making with no news of a buyout coming, is that they are OK with owning the stock if there's no buyout. Which is one of the worst points you can make - they claim their DD tells them to buy the company. Now you can't do DD cause there's no future info coming.
Once again, go to Edgar.gov & find the companies that filed to go dark & try researching what happened to their PPS over the next year. Very easy to do but takes a little bit of time for the followup research.
<Regardless of whether or not there's a buyout/merger, we still have all the rest to build on.
This is an interesting point. With a company that no longer is required to publish financials, why would anyone make a long term type of investment to 'build upon' given that you will never be able to verify how the company is doing finacially?
Based on what? Filing to stop reporting has nothing to do with a buyout. Go to the Edgar site and see how many companies file those forms then see how many got bought out.
<either stick it out or get out but spare me the stupidity.
What stupidity would that be? Are we talking about the falling stock price & the clinging to hopes & beliefs for a shining knight to ride in with a buyout?
<that even though all the signs point to something, doesn't make it so.
The signs 'pointing to something' were inventions of people once they lost enough money/profit. Typical behavior that happens with most failing stocks.
Nothing they actually filed actually pointed to the hypothetical buyout. Now you have a company that isn't required to post financials - not the best way to attract long term investors.
What would happen? Who would invest long term in a stock that doesn't report financials? The PPS will fall if this is how they're going to operate from now on.
I believe it's closed.
Well now we know what you're doing with your 100 shares.
<Why don't you post some links to white papers or SEC docs that make your doom and gloom scenarios
What's a doom & gloom scenario about an up to 10 day wait period after a forms get filed that you weren't even aware of? Way to really show of your stuff......
It's only 10 days once the Form 4 gets filed - which I don't believe has happened. In other words, you're waiting a lot longer than 10 days - if the news ever comes at all.
Because you didn't make one.
But you're not getting 1.50
Why do they need shares if the deal is already done?
That's th eonly time I plan on holding - believe me I hope we all make $$$. I just don't have a lot of lost profits/capital to need to make up.
But the people negative about the chart since 0.36 have been right and in agreement with the market - or do you dispute that?
That's why I plan to put out some speculative money at what I think is the LOD or at the EOD. If no news the next day then sell if it looks like the lack of buyout news will take it down more. Just keep rpeating until the news finally arrives. That should limit downside much better than all those in the 20's & 30's who just keep holding on as it drops & drops.
I guess you could say that first sip at 0.36 was your undoing.
It's not uncommon for people long a stock to think they know as much as how Wall Street runs behing the scenes as people who actually do it. Usually they get a painful lesson.
<Marky Dyne and Company better come up with a good buyout number or he's going to have to answer a lot of questions that won't make going dark as easy as he had hoped.
The stock closed at 10 cents with those filings. I don't see the stock falling the way it did for some hung offer to miraculously save the longs at the end. If an offer comes then I'd think it would be 2-4x that closing price. Wll Street doesn't work for the best interests of the little people.
People not being 100% truthful - on an anonymous Internet board?
Perish the thought....
The odds of people's claims on their personal status probably mirrors their calls on the stocks future behavior over the last month - and look how that turned out.
Well my profit stop saved me after getting in on this mornings initial dip.
Odds are this stock is probably going under. But I'm willing to play it overnight with gambling money. Certainly it's working out much better than everyone's who's holding & watching every cent of profit fly out the window.
With no news ever coming out again, this stock will probably drop every day until a buyout happens, if ever.
Didn't play it at end of day today. I expect another bad open on Monday. But after that it'll probably settle down to a slow descent until that one day when the big news may happen.
It's a shame for the longs who had a big profit if they were influenced by the nonsensical perpetual pumping here. But that's what mass hysteria does.
Yup, that's why you plan entrance & exits when you play a stock.
I bought in the .11 area this morn & I have a stop in place. If I get stopped out I'll prob just buy at the end of day & sell each morn if there's no buy out. I figure the gaps each morn won't be too bad so little speculative capital is at risk (and speculative $$$ that you can afford to lose should only be used with this stock)
I too doubt the buyout will happen, but it's probably giving me better odds than those MegaMillion lottery tix I bought.
suspended from iHub
You can google him to find his own board
Whatcha gonna do, brudda?
This morning wasn't low volume. Comparing it against an event several months ago and ignoring the recent trading activity is 'choosing to believe what you want'
No preaching - just a reality check against all the hype & prayer.
That said, the hold of 0.11 is enough for me to jump back in with some speculative money.
With a tight stop, of course
The stock does 2-3 million shares daily for the last several days and you think 1 million shares in 10 minutes is low volume.....the power of wanting to believe....
That is a figure that came from someone who used to post here who is strictly a T/A person. There's no 'DD' to suggest the stock is worth that based on financials. Once they start releasing financial related news then an actual informed decision could be made. But as of now it's 1 person's T/A view and a whole bunch of other people's prayers simply because they are long the stock.
< Brings credence to merger talks
