I'm just not seeing that.
Equal chance of hitting .006?
I had to go back in the chart to November of 2007 to see .006. Goldspring was on its way back up after the Parent litigation was over. What we're seeing here are low volume drops and heavy buying when GSPG nears the penny level, a strong dynamic support for more than a year and a half.
It would take huge amounts of volume to the downside and in a rising gold environment, combined with pending updated permits and production in the near future, I don't see an equal case to the downside. Plus, GSPG seems to be conserving their remaining shares.
I do however see a case to buy whenever it gets near this dynamic support.
Another thing to keep in mind...
Every other time GSPG has bounced nicely off these low levels.
Stay tuned...
These bargain prices are a great thing for me and was able to significantly add to my position...
No need to pray here with the huge amounts of gold and silver in the ground.
They'll make it to production...just wait and see.
A little more buying pressure is what is needed here and I
think we're going to see it. Monday ought to be a great day!
GSPG short interest increased nearly 375%

Thanks for taking the bull by the horns, CC.
This is all good news and continues to demonstrate that we're on schedule.
That is all smoke and mirrors...I doubt seriously that anything will come of it.
There are a lot of people on these boards trying to shake shares. The closer
GSPG gets to production and/or the release of the NI 43-101, the greater
the noise we're going to have to withstand.
CC -- Here's a refresher on the gold mined in 1q2006 -- Not too bad for an upstart -- Just imagine how a similar report might read when they resume mining later this year. Only now they will be more prepared with greater ore bodies defined along with a mining plan. IMO, GSPG has the potential to blow this report out of the water....stay tuned.
2006-05-10 09:01 EST - News Release
GOLD HILL, Nev., May 10, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today, GoldSpring, Inc. (OTCBB:GSPG) reports results from the Plum Mine operation for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. The Plum Mine realized a first time ever net profit of $52,030 for the first quarter 2006, compared to a loss of $817,630 for the first quarter 2005. The Company sold 992 ounces of gold at an average price of $542 per ounce during the first quarter of 2006, generating revenue of $537,806. During the same period in 2005, the Company sold 1,192 ounces of gold at an average price of $429 per ounce, generating revenue of $512,091. The Company's ability to achieve profit success is largely due to the efforts of its management to implement its operational improvement plan, as further detailed in this press release. The Company's consolidated first quarter 2006 financials are scheduled to be released on or before May 15, 2006, as part of its filing on Form 10-QSB.
This first ever profit from first quarter 2006 gold production at the Plum Mine is especially significant as production was hampered by unusually heavy precipitation in northern Nevada from mid-December 2005 through February 2006. The Plum Mine received fourteen inches of rain between mid-December and the end of February, filling the leach ponds, including the one hundred year storm pond, nearly to capacity. The high levels of effluents in the ponds prevented the Company from adding additional reagents to the leach pads. Because the Company was unable to add new material to the pad and put it under leach, they made the decision to cease mining operations in early-January but continued processing already mined ore. GoldSpring President and CEO, Rob Faber, said, "Our team at the mine did an excellent job, in a challenging situation, to insure the environmental integrity of our operation." The Company hopes to resume normal mining operations by the end of May 2006. The Plum Mine's reclamation, exploration and test mining expenses for the first quarter of 2006 were $843,945 less than for the same period of 2005.
How dare you challenge the keeper of the OS/AS...
Regardless of whatever dire posts are presented on this board,
You can't deny Goldspring's fundamentals or their potential to
hit a bonanza.
When GSPG's fundamentals come out in an organized form,
i.e. NI 43-101, we'll find out how just how well the POG moves this stock.
That's an interesting angle --
One that hadn't occurred to me recently and is quite plausible.
Credit is contracting and with that comes margin calls.
Wow, that's the pot calling the kettle black...
Why would you insinuate that Rob Faber is a liar?
Has he lied to you directly?
It doesn't take a Rhodes Scholar to run a mining outfit. He impressed me
as being an educated man.
If the 43-101 isn't released by June, then I'll buy what you're selling here.
Until then, Rob has my benefit of the doubt and along with my respect.
They don't necessarily need a mill facility right away.
The grade is high enough that they could truck it to a facility for processing.
Over the longer term though, I agree a milling facility is in the cards.
The leach pad and processing facility is already in place
as well as the permits to run it.
Fish -- Were you at the mine? Give us a report...
Do you have a link for your statement?
IMO The way the shorts are inundating the Yahoo board with conspiracy theories,
I wouldn't be surprised if we do see a PR tomorrow. Hang tight!
Great Post. My sentiments exactly. A lot of armchair quarterbacks
here.
If this board were your only source of info on Goldspring, you would feel
that it's about to tank at any minute and that the management are neophytes.
The bottom line is you have to trust management and what they are doing,
i.e. drill program, assembly of competent board members and their timing
of the 43-101.
If you don't have this trust, you shouldn't be in this stock.
Keeping one's fingers crossed isn't exactly the best motivation for holding a stock.
You're slamming GSPG on supposition. "Expect the worse?" Give me a break!
Goldspring has just added a winner from the mining industry to their already stellar board of industry experts. When the time is right, they'll release the pending 43-101 and begin resumption in mining, most likely 2nd quarter 2009.
Just because you see an increase in the OS is no need to panic.
Furthermore, with the addition of Pontius, I see added potential for the possibility
of a JV, merger and new financing options:
"Jeff's technical background, industry success, access to financing sources, and his ability to contact senior officers and directors at many of the successful precious metal mining companies will add depth and strength to the board and value to the Company"
Don't be scared of success!
Thanks for an interesting angle on the latest PR which some here have deemed "fluff." I still contend that the people calling the shots at GSPG know full well what they are doing. Patience here is needed and this is not always a trading stock.
IMO the longs will be well rewarded for demonstrating that patience.
There is no "dumping" going on that I can see.
Wishful thinking perhaps
Could you elaborate on this part of your post, thanks...
"with the company selling?"
Is this a fact or are you speculating? eom
I think you have this VERY wrong;
You can't sum this up by using one (yahoo) thread.
Yeah, I remember that time and it feels a lot like...NOW.
Lots of bashers on the Yahoo board at that time, it was almost
as if GSPG was magically being held down, bouncing along a bottom of sorts...then came the June Telesto report and all hell broke loose, for a while anyway...
Aren't we waiting for the next big "report?"
Anything sound familiar here?
This "fluff" shows lots of silver in those hills. eom
Lack of news?
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/081118/latu069.html?.v=101
IMO, I think we'll see another set of drill results before Christmas.
No, I think you're correct here...that production will begin before the two lane highway (a dilapidated one at that) is moved. My point was that they have to consider the highway move in all possible directions for a complete and thorough mining plan.
This is what I learned at the October GSPG presentations regarding the
delay of the 43-101 and additional drilling. It may or may not answer
some questions on this board...
It's a delicate area, the Hartford Complex. You've got hills all around, a very narrow valley floor with a highway running right through it. This summer's drilling indicated the ore body continued under the highway and across the road into the hills beyond.
It's a given that this highway must be moved at some point. It's an expensive proposition and GSPG is being very careful not to re-locate the highway on top of more reserves. Hence the need for more drilling and a delayed report.
I understand the drilling this Fall was a combination of in-fill drilling in areas with
the greatest ore body concentrations along with drilling further out to determine the direction and edges of this current ore body.
I know everyone is anxious for production however I think it would be premature to start digging without having all the facts about the current ore body, its direction / edges and its relationship to the highway.
This is surface mining so they have to know exactly where to dig and where to put
the non-ore bearing rock (hopefully not on top of ore). It's not a flat field and big trucks have to get in/out of tight areas.
If we're still having these delays six months from now, then that's another story.
I think people are misled by your "worried" posts.
I'm just pointing out GSPG facts here to give the board some balance.
GLTA
You had an update a couple of weeks ago...how often would you like them?
I think you're being unrealistic here...
Did you miss these releases, thistime?
You make it sound like we're in a news vacuum and that's just not the case...
The most recent update filed 11/18/08:
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/081118/latu069.html?.v=101
From the quarterly report filed 11/10/08 --"Furthermore, TechBase of Colorado, with the help of our consultants, is expected to complete a detailed mine plan and a reserve report for the Comstock Lode Project in the fourth quarter 2008 or first quarter 2009."
You've gotta have more patience here and not expect management
to hold your hand via phone calls. Let them do their work...
I'm offering that Goldspring is being smart as to when they release
their results and when they'll release their 43-101.
You can spin that any way you'd like...
Patience is the key here, people:
With the lack of news and the price action in gold, some investors
have just lost interest. If you're looking to make a quick buck, this
is not the place nor the time.
I've seen several miners issue great drill results only to get their share price
trounced. This was the case with GSPG back in September; it's hard to compete
with money flowing out of an entire sector.
I think it would be a waste for GSPG to announce their best results at this time, and you can be sure that results are in the hopper...with four drill rigs running since October.
IMO, when the sector turns around, and it will, Goldspring will be ready with more drill reports culminating with the long-awaited 43-101.
It's all in the timing and that requires patience.
I think there are other sources out there for questions other than
a "scam" page...
It's just my opinion...
Goldspring is not a scam PERIOD.
Recognizer, why would you post a scam link as a basis for
questions? I don't agree with what you're implying...
I have been to Goldspring;
Goldspring is real. The engineers and geologists are real.
The four drill rigs working each and every day are real.
The computer modeling of the identified ore body is real.
The third party assay report by Telesto showing large, indicated
resources is real:
www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1120970/000114420408034539/v117030_ex99-1.htm
And finally, the 43-101 reserve report, due out late this year, early next year
will be very real...and IMO, will take this stock to a whole new level.
Looks like we're headed up today...
We didn't quite make it up to where I thought on Friday although we
seem to be getting a nice bounce off the .015 as of late.
Darby, any thoughts as to where the next target lies?
I don't understand why you can't make the call yourself.
I don't think you're being real...show up on someone's doorstep?
If you've got a computer, thistime, then you have a phone.
Either call the man yourself, since you brought it up, or drop the issue.
I took the time and expense to travel out to Goldspring, the least you
can do is make a phone call...
Thistime -- be brave -- Make the Call!
You've gone this far with your dd, why not go all the way?
I'm glad I made the trip out to Goldspring. It put my mind at
ease. There were a lot of talented, educated people working very hard--
and truly excited at what they were finding.
I trust them to put out the assays/drill results when they're ready. I got the impression from Jim Golden that it takes several weeks to get the results back from Telesto as they're very thorough. There were two rigs going in mid-October and one of the geologists mentioned to our group that there were two more rigs on the way -- which has been confirmed. They're infill drilling and inputting all the coordinates into a 3-D computer model. This all takes time along with working on the 43-101. It's a big undertaking.
Regarding the majority shareholder, I didn't have an opportunity to meet him (there was a pretty big crowd there) but I did talk with Rob Faber a few times. Rob was genuine and had a real passion for the project at Goldspring. I didn't get the impression that someone else was calling the shots.
Really, if you're worried about the majority shareholder, give the guy
a call yourself. You'll feel much better about it.
Hans2004fl -- Do a little more DD before posting...
GoldSpring has found gold AND silver, their mining permits are in place.
Currently they're defining the size of the ore body (it keeps getting bigger) before the startup of mining in the Spring of 2009 at which time they will "harvest."
They have four drill rigs working on the ore body definition at this time and
another drill report is due out very soon.
I have been to the mine, met the geologists / engineers / CEO Rob Faber and
it's very real. These are intelligent people here with a solid plan and reserves
to back it up.
GSPG's Management is Trustworthy...
I was at the BBQ Event this weekend and talked with Rob Faber and two of the board members. They are down-to-earth guys and took a lot of time to explain the current drilling plan and the plans to further define the current ore body (which keeps getting larger with each new drill hole).
I also met the geologists and engineers that are working with Goldspring and they are top notch! These guys have lots of experience in their field and are committed to developing this property in a logical and cost effective manner.
The computer modeling of their drill holes was quite impressive.
I heard several times over the course of the event that it wasn't a question of "if" they were going to discover a bonanza grade deposit, it was just a question of "when."
Lots of committed, knowledgeable people here and their plans were very transparent. After meeting everyone, I have great faith in their abilities and can
trust them with my investment.
Don't let the naysayers fool you into selling...
We may be in a news vacuum at times with this stock but I
fully believe we'll be out of bk as indicated in the Conf. Call.
IMO There is value here even if it ends up being a buy-out...
