What's that mean? If you want to buy let me know, I'll sell.
It must be remembered that all those references were in 1993! Over 17 years ago. I am sure the Coates technology has evolved since then. Plus can you really believe that the references were independent? If they had enough interest to come see the technology they have a good enough reason to diminish it so they can get it cheaper.
Perhaps 10 or 20 or more of the first production models are categorized as R&D models and do not need certification? Just an idea? I just can't imagine certification/permits etc have been overlooked.
I am still here and listening. Sure hope CIL has all their testing requirements in place. Can't imagine that Brian Campbell from Well to Wire hasn't thought of all the EPA concerns. Mr Campbell is a very smart guy, his heart is in the right place and I believe he is an honest guy. No doubt he too is disappointed that production hasn't moved forward quicker. Almont Energy and their staff seem very talented and experienced, they must be aware of all the EPA concerns as well or they wouldn't have invested over $700,000 this year.
Nice to see some real factual information in today's news release. The link about the Oklahoma proposal on the web site was interesting to read, looks legitimate to me. Hope CIL continues to be forthcoming and transparent with up to date information, it will take a lot of stress off the investors and eliminate everyone from posting whatever thoughts (usually wrong) pop into their minds.
Very old news.
Did you get your option deal in writing? "by promising me options that he never came through with" If it wasn't in writing, I dont think you will get them. I am sorry.
Just another competitor trying their best to beat us down. They even admit it! Quote "As we are doing design work on our valve system last week Coates name came up again." These are the same people I want think about when I drive to the bank with a big check! $$$$ later.....
I think Coates will prove the newbie wrong. Why would Almont Energy continue to fund CIL? After all, they observed the engine running and obviously were satisfied to invest. Almont and their team are sophisticated in the oil and gas business and I dont think CIL could pull the wool over their head. Speaking of wolves, watch out for wolves dressed as sheep. They may be very close on this message board. I am still voting on CIL.
As per previous SEC submission: "In regards to your current engine project, a normally aspirated 14.0 liter inline 6 cylinder fueled by natural gas powering a stationary generator, we have determined that this engine application complies with the guidance of 40 CFR 1048 "CONTROL OF EMISSIONS FROM NEW, LARGE NONROAD SPARK-IGNITION ENGINES " (Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1048) "
(htto://wvvw.access.gpo.gov/nara/cfr/waisidx_05/40cfr1048_05.htm).
I do not belive that the word "application" above refers to a paper application. I believe it refers to the 6 cylinder CSRV application that was tested in the certified EPA independent testing facility.
Coates engine already passed the EPA tests, therefore I doubt there any validity to the exhaust valve concern, plus he has water running thru the shaft of the valves to keep them cool. Most likely Coates uses a special compound on the seals that does not expand with heat and is durable. I am sure we will eventually find out what keeps the engine working.
A shipment will be HUGE news for me. It means that an engine is actually going to be trusted to be out in the real world for all to see. It also means that they have the ability to make a production model with more on the way. First production model out in the real world under third party verification is HUGE!!! A major step forward.
I am still holding onto hope that he ships something soon, very soon. If not, I am headed to a psychiatrist to get my head examined. Perhaps the investors can get a group rate!
SonofanMD that is one of the most insightful posts yet! Good one! You should be a trial attorney with those rebuttals. Please, don't leave any more logical excuses, they might use them. I want to see this company take off and be successful. In order to so they have to manufacture and ship something.
In a normal world, yes. But for this stock, just getting close to the deadline (which was foolishly set by themselves!)I am hoping for the best, surprise me with some real good solid factual third party verification news.
Someone is buying big at 33 cents. Big fish are out there!
I disagree. If they begin to manufacure the 7400 orders ( via previous sec submission) already in place for the natural gas generator they can make a fortune. No auto deal is needed. The natural gas generators will offer plenty of profit. But the company must get moving ASAP! If an auto deal comes along, so much the better but certainly not needed. A truck deal would be better than an auto deal. In my opinion, they must ship an engine before anyone will take the company seriously.
Good observation Radicalhabits, I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking why sell now? Why not at least wait till the end of the quarter/month.
I hear you, you're not negative just honest and realistic. Let's hope this time it's the real deal. If so, we are on our way for a really good ride. To the moon!
I agree, no selling means people are waiting for the big news. The real question is: What will the big news be?
Sounds great to me, get those engines out the door $.
Nice photo of the engine, it's nice to see an actual tangible product. Looks good, now get it in working in the field. Looks like $$$ signs are on the horizon!
That is an old photo, pan around and you can see the old Coates sign on route 34.
Obviously the CFO sees value in the company stock and therefore bought more of it. Hopefully this is the beginning of what I thought would have happened a long time ago. Let's hope for the best.
If the transportation truck is there, this could be the beginning of something really good.
I don't get it either, does the satellite show a truck in the parking lot?
Let me know when the home generators are being sold, I want one. Plus, I'd love to have a CSRV engine in a car. More so,I'd love to see that a CSRV engine(s) was shipped!
Nice response rickj_65, hope your estimates come true. If so, I'll be a happy camper!
When they ship the engine(s) what do you think will happen to the stock price? I think it will at least double.
Ramp to get all the BS out of there!
The press release said delivery in 2nd quarter which takes us to the end of June. Hopefully we dont have to wait that long.
I have my fingers crossed for an engine delivery soon.
CIL bought the building last year and recorded the transaction on EDGAR, the SEC just wants additional clarity per the previous submission. No big deal in my opinion. More important is when are they going to ship the engines to Almont!
Purchase of the building is old news. CIL lucked out and got a good buy. I hope they luck out and get a good buy on engine parts and get this company going!
I thought it was great letter. Any real action is better than a promise.
According to an SEC submission Almont was created with several high net worth individuals. Therefore, either personally or by third party they have the ability to come up with money needed to advance the company.
Almontenergy.com website is pretty good!
I am hanging in there a little while longer. If you think about it logically what is the likelihood that CIL predicted in their last press release that an engine would ship in April. Is it going to be April or early May or late June? All I can say is it better be soon.
I wouldn't worry about the lack of an Almontenergy.com website. Perhaps they are doing other more important work getting ready for the delivery of the new CSRV Coates International Revolutionary New Engine. They said in an SEC submission that they plan to follow W2W's business plan closely (W2W plan had several thousand orders for the engines). So in that case they dont really need a website to gather new business, they'll just fullfill the orders they have. Either way, 4 days to go till SOMETHING.
April is here and the clock is ticking. Everyone is watching and waiting for engines to be shipped, my question is: If an engine or two is shipped how high will the stock go? Somewhere between 1-2 dollars is my guess.
