Millenia Hope's Anti-Malarial Shows Positive Results in Central African Trial
MONTREAL, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Millenia Hope Inc., a Biotech Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MLHP - News; Berlin Stock Exchange: MLF - News) today released the results of tests done by Dr. Max Koula, National Coordinator of the Republic of Central Africa's anti-malarial program, Dr. Etienne Fernand Gbagba, Chief of Emergency Medical Services at Community Hospital in Bangui, Republic of Central Africa and Dr. Wilfred Nambei of the University of Bangui.

Their study covered 31 patients suffering from Falciparum Malaria, both male and female, from 18 to 60 years of age. After the 5-day treatment regimen, 93.5% of the patients showed positive clinical responses, as measured by the WHO guidelines. The few side effects noticed were slight and rarely occurred, some dizziness, headaches and vomiting. The researchers concluded that MMH Malarex(TM), "should be considered as a serious weapon in the fight against malaria." These results are consistent with our other studies of MMH Malarex(TM).
"MMH Malarex(TM) has once again proven its efficacy and safeness. With the current shortage of effective anti-malarial drugs having no parasitic resistance, we expect MMH Malarex(TM) to enter the commercial marketplace in the near future," said Leonard Stella, CEO of Millenia Hope.

Torbay Holdings Inc: Launches 'Gesture' Technology in its Nib Click-Less Software for PC and adds a Macintosh Version called McNib
Jump to first matched term
NEW YORK, Feb 25, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Torbay Holdings Inc (OTC:BB:TRBY.OB) announces the launch of "Gesture" technology in its "click-less" software product now called Nib-Gestures. It also announces an entry into the Macintosh Software market with the launch of McNib-Gestures. Software products will now be sold as standalone items to all mouse users and not only to those who purchase a Quill Mouse, as in the past, so creating a separate software revenue stream.
Adding Gesture technology to Nib click-less software, in TRBY's opinion, makes it the most advanced "Dwell Time" click software on the market. Dwell time software clicks mouse buttons for the user when they pause over an active part of the computer screen. Nib software interrogates the graphics environment of the computer, recognizing when the cursor is over an interactive zone. The left button click (Quill Mouse upper button) is the default Nib click as left clicks are probably in excess of 80% of those employed by most mouse users. When clicking manually the index finger is likely to perform in excess of 1,000,000 clicks a year, with Internet users typically using many more.
When a right click is required (opens a sub-menu) or a double click (opens a file/application) the user selects their choice from a menu on Nib's toolbar by pausing over the options displayed. The cursor is then moved to where the right or double click is desired.
Nib tracks the number of clicks performed by the user and the software itself. To quote from one user in our website "Hall of Pain" testimony page (http://www.quillmouse.com/testimonials/).
"I depend on this (Nib Click-less) software to make it through the
day. For example, in the first 45 minutes today, I clicked 19 times
and the nib clicked 534 times. Pro-rate that to a day and you can see
why my hand gave out.

Additionally Nib features Hyperlink making web surfing entirely click-less, an intelligent break timer to remind people to take aerobic breaks and Nib also has a "disable mouse and keyboard" option during the break for those who require extra "motivation". It also helps meet with an increasing desire and in certain geographies, a requirement by employers that employees take regular breaks and use affirmative methods to ensure that they do.
Gesture technology means that it is no longer necessary to move out of the working area of the screen to the toolbar to select an alternative click type. The user can now "Gesture" with the mouse cursor to do so, moving to the right and back to activate a right click, to the left and back for a double click and down then back to actuate highlight, drag or scroll functions.
Gestures Technology adds a further uniqueness to our software products, which already are the only ones, to our knowledge, that provide visual feedback at the cursor so that users know exactly what the system is doing without having to look away from the area of the screen they are working in.
The company believes that Nib and McNib are especially beneficial to the many who experience pain as a consequence of the accumulated effect of gripping mice over long periods. They are also perceived as beneficial to the Assistive Technology market as clicking may not be easy or can cause severe pain in those with Arthritis and other degenerative joint disease.
Another significant application was identified following a request to help a Parkinson's disease patient who, due to finger tremors, could not avoid accidental clicking of conventional mouse buttons. The hand positioning in a Quill Mouse is such that contact with mouse buttons (required to grip ordinary mice) is not necessary so patients with any form of hand tremor can move their cursor and avoid accidental clicking. Nib software then allows tremor sufferers to click by placing the cursor where desired using a Quill Mouse that employs their upper arm muscles, which are not usually subject to tremor.
Tom Large, President & CEO stated. "We have listened, learnt and responded to the feedback received from users with computer related injuries and those with clinically derived impairments. The feedback as to Nib software has been excellent and sales of the Quill and Nib Software, bundled as the Virtually Hands Free Mousing System, have seen a measurable increase this year. The word appears to be getting out, assisted by the availability of the Video Professor sponsored 30-day demo version available from quillmouse.com website. Our investment in "Gestures" is hoped to make us the premier product in this, relatively, unpopulated but potential growth sector of the software market."
"The McNib product adds a new dimension in keeping with Macintosh's extremely supportive attention to the Assitive Tech sector and Macintosh users with impairment. It may also increase our product presence on the Apple website as the Quill Mouse is already referenced in two locations. The Macintosh version will also be added to our product listing on the US Governments Section 508 website."
"The decision to sell our software products as standalone items was taken so as to make them easily accessible by those that might gain benefits from their use in the hope that their experience of these products may encourage them to purchase a Quill Mouse as well. The price for both PC and Macintosh standalone versions will be $75 with a rebate of $25 on a Quill Mouse purchased separately. Likewise those who purchase a Quill Mouse receive a $25 rebate off a later purchase of software. This means that whether bought separately or as the VHF System bundle the net purchase price will be $149.95. Consequently this offer should not impact revenues or margins negatively and is hoped to stimulate an aftermarket in our growing user base."
"February 29th is International RSI awareness day and we are on track, so far, for making the alterations to our website so as to make these products available by that day."

Rig
olico/TRBY,
A break through .10, new contract announcements, a hold above .10, more contracts and sales and much more product awareness.
I am holding shares long.
~Rig
as far as events.I focused on Nextel and Nascar and the 52 week low and that was it for me.There were many phone calls inbetween and 4 pages of notes.
TRBY, 52 week low or near it, always had it on radar, always liked the product, pressure from AJW, I saw volume increased and thought maybe they would soon be washed out or that a deal was close, numerous phone calls, contacting vendors of the quill,User feedback and Instincts.I also liked the way the ceo handled himself with a no fluff posture.
Buzz,
I had followed both TRBY and IMTS for quite some time.TRBY I had played once or twice and made some good money.I was briefly in IMTS around .40 ish for a penny or two gain and sold. Both of these stock I found scanning pr's from the day.I like reading prs from the whole day many times scanning through all of them from business wire.Initially was interested in the products each had being the simulator and theraputic mouse.Obviously, it helps to have a product.
I thoroughly read the filings many times since the financial info for me takes time to settle in.I prepared notes as I read the filins taking ineterest at s8's, insider sells, buys and specifically and event or something that could move the stock.
IMTS for me was reading Nextel in the 10q.Most dont read filings and miss some good info. The stock was at a 52 week low. 035 and I satred making calls to the company and IR dept and the story started unfolding.I found there was selling that more coming
Buzz,
How much credence do you put on total number of oustanding shares when you think about buying a stock?
~Rig
Brig, YES we know. ~Rig
Brig, the part about mental stops that BUZZ just mentioned, you can skip that.~Rig
Buzz, :)))))))))) ~Rig
ninji/APOA, let us know what you find out please ~Rig
ninji/APOA,
I'm in and in heavy and dont wanna be left on the sidelines. This is another one thats been brewing for a long time. Its been worth the wait and I think it could double from here.Ready now? I dont time things correctly and would rather have a stash if i believe in a stock.I believe in APOA,Dreams DD over a year ago and my personal DD also.
~Rig
trenddetector/TRBY,
Possibly both.Just take the govt potential by itself. They are already doing business with some big names like Intel and Miscosoft.I would expoect orders to increase as time passes and new coorporate contracts signed.Infancy stage IMO.Loved this one for well over a year and now its finally happening.Trade as you like but hold some long term IMO.
~Rig
ninji/TRBY,
Well, for me, I think it can go into the 20's.Lets see what the next pr's have to say. They must have signed some kind of contract or have something else good to share.Shoert term I think we can get to .10.I am holding many long.
~Rig
mgland/TRBY :))) ~Rig
mrgoodtrade, yea we need a piece of news to bring interest back to the stock BAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH lmao.
~Rig
TRBY Oh Babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy 52 week high ~Rig
