How would they tell the difference between long & short? Do the longs have to be in the whole time?
I don't see how your scenario can play out so I understand why no one (outside of me) answered your question.
MOSH has sued so when MOSH wins the $$$$ goes into MOSH. They then distribute to the shareholders of record so we won't qualify for it either unless we still own it at the distribution date. It should be like a dividend declared. You can't declare a dividend for s/h going back several years, can you?

a 504 is a financing provision that allows a company to raise $1 million per year by selling their shares on the open market through an mm. It isn't bullish until it is over imho. I don't know if it's over, whether one is in process or whatever.
