Every company uses forward looking statements and most are wrong to a degree.
I have a forward looking statement. Cresco will buy or merge with Terra Tech.
The the biggest producer in California is still the black market. The government is the problem with the US MJ industry at all levels.
You should look at the financials Cresco posted - could be Terra Tech's results in 6 months. The exception is the 170 million in cash and debt free. Big exception.
I doubt they have that cash now after the merger with Origin Farm.
True, revenue misses were not anticipated by the company or the shareholders but then that's only an issue with the retail side and explained albeit weakly.
The grow side could be the life saver. And if TRTC makes it to legalization it will be a player. Less of a player than it could have been if legalization had happened last year or early this year.
They could still be 'Dodge' in California.
Yep, maybe they should rename the OTC to PUD, Pray for Us Dummies.
To be considered for the new MJ fund a company has to have a market cap over 100 million. TRTC need to get to above 1.05 to meet that requirement.
Good to know, thanks.
Good Luck
As a former corporate guy for about a decade, the last job on the planet I'd ever take was CFO in one of these small start ups. It was enough dealing with capital spend as an engineer. I'd hate to be in the two hot seats. CEO and CFO. Pays freaking great but you have to love it.
Really? I thought by now their equipment would be selling.
Anyway the Snakes and Lattes could morph into Snakes in the Grass pretty quickly!!
Good Luck folks. I hope the stock does well.
I don't know AMFE that well but I do know lots of small public companies in the US MJ industry are getting to the point of failing because of a US government that has not been responsive to the public's desire to legalize the plant. Even Canadian firms are not reaching their potential because they are selling to a fraction of their potential market with the US being federally illegal. No commerce allowed with MJ.
Darn shame, good ideas all over the US MJ industry but finances stink for most. Lots of folks seem to blame management. I blame the lack of governmental support for this multi billion dollar industry that could provide decent wages to a lot of burger flippers.
What's going on with AMFE? Used to own a bunch back when it was heading to the .15 levels. Is it dilution?
Agree mostly. The dollars are also their 170 grand a year salary and perks most citizens would die for. The election is driving their desire to please the electorate. As the Medical Marijuana expands so does the approval of the most resistant part of the population. In a few months Granny Smith in Alabama will be extolling the benefits of MJ to her congressman and preacher. The south is rising in wisps of MJ smoke.
The facts could change on a dime. Cresco just reported record earnings. Earnings similar to what TRTC should be reporting in a couple of quarters given the grow operations coming on board.
Lots of "IF's" but TRTC could come out of this smelling like a rose instead of a three day old flounder.
Raise your hand if the entire reason for playing with these 'lotto' stocks is because of the "IF's"
Looks like a majority to me.
I would not be surprised if TRTC starts up.
Alabama Senate committee approves medical marijuana - WOW!!!
Jeff must be rolling in his yellow stained bedsheets.

I think we may be at the low today - all the rest of the MJ stocks I follow are going up bigtime.
When legalization comes it will be fast. Capitulation from the Senators resisting will happen quickly the closer we get to the election.
TRTC's price may not reach .60's.

Forbes - Must read. Good News for all the small US MJ companies.
"Sometimes it is necessary to read between the lines. So, when the largest cannabis company in the world enters into a multi-billion dollar deal with a well-known American cannabis firm -- one that is set to take effect only after the federal government repeals marijuana prohibition -- it is hard not to consider the possibility that someone knows something and that maybe, just maybe we are closer than we think to living in a time when marijuana is taxed and regulated nationwide in a manner similar to alcohol and tobacco."

I'm going to guess July the 4th for MJ Legalization Day.

Ever wonder why when a politician farts the markets react?
The soil businesses grow in, politics, is very important and very relevant.
The reason for the failing US MJ Industry is completely political.
Please elaborate the results you just love. personally, I believe they only way to help his voters to reach their 'Eureka moment' is to let him end the Affordable Care Act, End Medicare and Social Security and get this country back to 1900 as soon as possible.
I'll start a Guillotine business and get ready for America's version of the Third Estate. Maybe a solar powered one made out of aluminum that would be easy to move. Maybe a kiln to ash the heads. Use the ashes to fertilize the crops.
Every time, in history, without exception, inequity always solves itself if left unchecked by the leaders.
You apparently did not or can not read what I posted.
We almost agree on this subject. But we should not join the us vs them nonsense. To tell the truth, We have not had a great president in decades. This one is the bottom of the barrel but JFK was the last one that inspired the nation. Roosevelt - JFK were presidents.
Johnson had the Vietnam war that allowed the wealthy sons avoid service and had other men, less fortunate, serve in their place.
The list of Chicken Hawks: Bill Clinton, George Bush, and Donald Trump.
Nixon needs no words. Ford pardoned Nixon which should not have happened. Carter had a very corrupt cabinet, was naive and led with his heart instead of his head. Reagan started his political life informing on his fellow actors for Joe McCarthy. Instituted the supply side economics which started the widening of the financial gap between the middle and the upper class. Ignored the Aids epidemic allowing it to hit much harder than it should have, and set the precedence of busting federal union's further increasing the wage gap. Bush, Contragate and trickle down recession continued under Bush Sr's term. Clinton a smart man who thought he could get a secret blow job in the most secure house on the planet. What a dummy. Insincere and ready to cry at a moments notice. Tech bubble and a blow job is all I remember about his 8 years. Bush Jr, worst President in my lifetime, present president excluded. Started a war that injured and maimed over 60 thousand troops and killed over 7 thousand in Iraq and Afghanistan. There were no WMD's. What we found were scared shitless unpaid and unfed and out gunned soldiers that ran - just not faster than a bullet. Iraq was handled badly and the troops we decided to not allow the puppet Iraq government pay became the terrorists we have been fighting since 2001. Afghanistan was a righteous war but was ignored by Bush and allowed to fester and now we will probably be there forever. The 2008 Recession was Bush. Obama was a smart man who wimped out. When that GOP congressman called him a liar he should have had him kicked out of the chamber and censured. When the GOP lied about the Affordable Care Act and named it Obamacare he should have renamed it The Robert E. Lee Care Act. Has a ring to it. Or maybe named it the Mitch and Stitch Medical Act.
Trump, I got nothing to say he is exactly what he appears to be and exactly what Robert Mueller and the FBI knows he is.
We are playing in a pond with a lot of fishy fish!
I flew out of Davison AAF for 4 years and had to get a TS - no fun. I had friends and family calling me to see what was up. It was funny.
I don't judge folks by groups or by color or by religion - if I did there would not be a Protestant alive in my Irish world.
Arabs invented our numbering system. Ever try to multiply or divide roman numerals? Or doing math without a Zero which was invented by the Indian's (from India).
Without Jews we would not have won WWII or beat the Russians to the Moon. They invented the atomic bomb and space travel.
While Europe was in the dark ages the Mid East was where knowledge kept moving forward.
Just because we are in the Human Race doesn't mean it's actually a race. If you would take some time to walk into a good graduate school of science and look at the faces of those folks who will be the future of this country you would know they are mostly not white but shades of brown with a sprinkling of white. And schools like MIT don't let dummies in.
I have this problem. I know I can compete against any man if the field is level. I don't need legislation to help me succeed in life. I don't need to make anyone less able to compete with me.
I served for 25 years in the Army and went to Vietnam where people of all colors fought with me and for me. I served in Desert Storm for a year and lots of good folks from the middle east joined our services to help stop Saddam, Osama and Isis.
After 9/11, 6,024 Moslems served in the military in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, with at least 14 being killed overseas.
Every group has it's piss ants, well maybe not the Irish, but most do. The background check to become a member of Congress is more than most people could pass. I'm not worried and I'm never ashamed.
They appear to be working. And they passed the appropriation bills unlike the GOP congress we just tossed out. Will anything become law? Probably very little due to the senate leader and the presidential veto, (a new shiny bobble for the Chief tot). I doubt we will have any decent changes until the president and senate change. And they will eventually. And we can get on with funding medicare, social security and healthcare while decreasing the cost of your kids college instead of giving old retired guys like me ridiculous tax returns that we do not need.

What bill have they obstructed? Where is the Super Duper Health care bill? Where is the infrastructure bill?
Congress passed the one bill he sent forward - the budget - in record time considering the GOP never passed a budget bill on time.
We either have three branches of government with checks and balances or just pick a dictator and live with his and his sons rule for life.
Read something folks - like the constitution or bill of rights!! It's really good for you.
Congressional oversight is oversight by the United States Congress over the Executive Branch, including the numerous U.S. federal agencies. Congressional oversight includes the review, monitoring, and supervision of federal agencies, programs, activities, and policy implementation.[1] Congress exercises this power largely through its congressional committee system. Oversight also occurs in a wide variety of congressional activities and contexts. These include authorization, appropriations, investigative, and legislative hearings by standing committees; specialized investigations by select committees; and reviews and studies by congressional support agencies and staff.
Congress’s oversight authority derives from its “implied” powers in the Constitution, public laws, and House and Senate rules. It is an integral part of the American system of checks and balances.
The GOP never passed anything he wanted. Mitch said on tape that his job was to make Obama a one term president. Which is why Obama used executive orders almost exclusively the last term.
Obama focused on Healthcare and passed a decent beginning to an American healthcare program instead of using the time to pass pot.
A black man passing pot would have gone over real well in this country. Probably worse than a black man's health care program and we all know how well that has gone.
You should all read the Mueller Report.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2019/politics/read-the-mueller-report/?utm_term=.35e1cba7d945
Right and a black man passing MJ through the Past GOP House and the same GOP Senate would have passed? You smoking what these days?
And if they had passed it when the democrats owned the government the GOP would have renamed pot to 'Black Satan Obama weed' and every self respecting racist would have stopped using MJ and gone back to making meth.
Wow 68% of Americans do not have a college degree!!!
Honestly, I don't think anything from the feds will change without an election and a change of the Senate and the executive branches.
But given the current US versus THEM crap going on and the ignorance of half the country I doubt anything will change. We will continue building a MJ industry patch work quilt one state at a time and a few large players will own the US MJ industry in a year or two. All the companies like Terra Tech will either be brought up of just run out of the ability to meet expenses and sell of their assets.
All about reality not high School antics. The reality is that elections have consequences and one of them is the total trashing of the US marijuana businesses like Terra Tech. Leaving the Senate in the hands of McConnell and Barr as AG means nothing gets done on the Federal level until late 2020 at best case. By then, the landscape will be claimed and the ridiculous state by state piece meal US MJ industry will be owned by a few large players.
This one, Hexo, Curlf, Acb hitting the peaks today.
In order to pass into a law every law has to pass the Senate and Senator McConnell has to allow a vote - He has not and it's more than likely he won't.
But hey, I'm retired and set for my life so keep electing POS's and keep losing ground financially. Besides it's getting to crowded on the roads. Another choice or two like 2016 and half the country will get in shape riding bicycles to work. MAGA and get more workers on bicycles.
McConnell on Marijuana:
1. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Tuesday told reporters he has no plan to support the legalization of marijuana as he pushes an effort to legalize hemp.
“I do not have any plans to endorse the legalization of marijuana,” he said, adding that marijuana and hemp are “two entirely separate plants.”
https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/386791-mcconnell-i-wont-support-legalizing-marijuana
2. Mitch McConnell Blocks Marijuana Banking Reform Amendment
Attempts to pass the States Act have failed once again.
https://www.fool.com/investing/2018/12/22/mitch-mcconnell-blocks-marijuana-banking-reform-am.aspx
3. Sen. Cory Gardner said Thursday that President Donald Trump told him he’d sign legislation to ensure states can decide for themselves whether to legalize marijuana, but that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell needs some more convincing.
https://www.politico.com/story/2019/04/04/cory-gardner-trump-marijuana-bill-1255762
One party is actively doing both oversight and legislation. Dozens of MJ bills are actively being persued in the House. On the other hand the executive branch is saying association with the MJ industry is enough to take away citizenship while the Senate owned by McConnell will not pass anything unless it benefits him and his party - not America. And now the turds are letting the industry wither on the vine while some here blame the American companies
"Feds Double Down on Denying Citizenship for Cannabis Industry Ties"

Way to go!! Great job goes out to the 39%ers!!!
Wonder if that means the past Speaker is now an illegal immigrant?
He doesn't care, he's going to make a bundle off of CGC taking over Acreage Holdings.
Anyone think a US Marijuana Company has a chance in this country?
No, everyone who supported anti MJ elected officials need to move to Canada and spread the 'dumb' around.
Here is the future for US Marijuana Stocks: "Canopy's $3.4 billion purchase of Acreage Holdings is unlike anything Wall Street or investors have ever seen."
The future for companies like Terra Tech SUXS. Why? The POS's like McConnell and others of his ilk who love to force their choices on everyone else regardless of the peoples choice.
It's over folks, put on your best Canadian tuxedo, pick up a mickey and start partying cause our elected POS's decided the outcome.
Maybe, maybe not. No money, no access to capital means it will take the state and federal governments to get their acts together - real quick.
Huge state taxes and F'd up licensing, crappy control of the black markets and you got no way up for the US MJ companies like TRTC when there are companies outside the US in great financial shape that are competing in the same states and currently obtaining more and more of the share of the US market.
Even if MJ was federally legalized tomorrow the benefit would be stunted for TRTC because it's got the foot print it's got and no more in sight for months and months while the financially healthy companies are taking huge parts of the US industry every month.
Frankly, with TRTC selling off assets just to pay the bills who would pay a premium for TRTC when the can wait and possibly get it in piece by piece?
