Well, A LOT of buyouts/mergers get finalized over weekends and everyone likes to get the week off to a good start. :) No good news ever comes out on Fridays after the market closes.
He was probably using voice-to-text or speak-n-spell.
I am personally waiting for the next uptick... but hoping I have more to invest before it happens... Catch 22 for me... want it to go up, but want to be able to buy some more before it does. LOL Its like the final 2 competitors in a Battle Royal being "The Bullet" Bob Armstrong and "The Road Dogg" Jesse James... who do you root for? ;)
Please tell me, and the entire board, where I have been wrong. Please point out any falsehood I have said.
I rely on MANY sources, and CNN is 2nd best only to BBC.
Anyone who calls CNN "FAKE NEWS" has ZERO credibility, and even less intelligence. Where is that 80 MW Korea deal you said we signed about 5 months because you "e-mail directly with CEO's".
According to who? You?
HTTR!!! Always and forever. :)
Are you implying Vascepa is not covered by Medicare???
I think AMRN management intentionally low-balled the 2019 guidance such that it will be easier to beat earnings each quarter... which looks good to Big Pharma that might be interested in buying them out. Also, they said that their guidance EXCLUDES any increase that might be due to label expansion, as they do not know exactly when it will happen.
As Cramer would say "Never feel bad about taking a profit."
Yep... and I bought SIRI @ $0.35 and sold it at $1.75 and $2.00.
Not saying its going to happen, but I REALLY hope in 10 years you are eating those words! :)
Ugh. Seemed so promising a few years ago. Thank you for the info.
If a buyout happens, it will happen in 3 years AT THE VERY LONGEST. More likely 6-12 months. Why? The patents expire in 2030. Nobody will buy the company in 2027 when it faces generic competition less than 3 years down the road (Teva agreement for August 2029). If Big Pharma is interested, they are either talking now or waiting until official label expansion. Once that happens, I personally a buyout would happen within 12 months from then, or not at all.
Okay, thank you for the info!
Based on the date of this article (1/3/2019), its not dead yet! :)

EDIT: That might have simply been the date on the webpage... as it has just gone past midnight and the date changed (though it is a day off, which has thrown me off). But I do search on occasion for articles related to Beacon Falls and I had not seen this one before.
I hope it can stay down at this level until my next monthly Roth IRA deposit goes in (5th of every month). So, I should have a little cash available to add to my position on Monday... the lower it is, the more I can add. :)
I hear ya there! 2019 HAS to be better! GL and HNY to all!
They already said they were using it for the Campbell's project... since the other financing we just got is for project construction only, why would they not use that for Tulare and finance the Bridgeport purchase with the remaining funds available from NRG? I expect a PR Monday morning. :)
Since our new deal with Generate is for construction financing only, our deal with NRG loan has drawn down $10 million ($30 million remaining), and it expires on the 31st, does anybody else think (putting 2 and 2 together), that it will be used to fund the purchase of Bridgeport? After all, we are supposed to close that deal by the 31st, correct? :)
Everything looks like it is finally starting to fall into place. Now just need to turn the corner on Korea and get an update on the carbon capture project with Exxon.
Nice!! Hope we get a project or two for the electricity side of it!
Maybe so, but you have a $1,000 credit limit, while FCEL has a $300 MILLION credit limit.
Looks like it really started to move in the last 45 minutes or so (when I had last been able to check the price). Surprised it didn’t move like this at the open. Maybe the street had to digest the news and fully understand it?
Welcome to the bull side! Glad to have you (as well as the financing too, of course)!
BOOM!!! There is our project financing for basicall the entire project backlog!!
You. Know. Nothing.
Period.
So you are Here Today... we all know the truth... you will be Gone Tomorrow.
Very true... but it of course puts back the timeline of our power generation portfolio (but that is offset by the purchase of the Bridgeport facility).
Why are you even here? At least DaveyDave provides well-thought out opinions and facts on the bearish side. You are just a nuisance to the board. I would ignore you, but that would mean I have to unignore at least 1 person, and lucky for you, I have come across 5 people worse than you on the iHub boards.
FCEL will be quiet about it until it is resolved, unless directly asked by an analyst on a conference call. They won't say anything on their own until it is resolved, as if what they say doesn't come to fruition, then they open themselves up to lawsuits and SEC violations.
Hopefully not for much longer. POSCO needs to get its act together and figure out which way it is going.
Thank you Sam! Happy holidays everyone!
Cool! Safe travels! Now if only we can start another run in FRLF!!
I enjoyed driving to Jacksonville and back today to watch my beloved Redskins go 2-0 in road games in Florida this year (beat the Bucs last month). I was able to make it to both games thankfully! :)
So, we have had zero orders cancelled. Got it.
Looking forward to the next few weeks for sure! Miss not having nearly as much time anymore to post or read the message board!
Can you please inform me of one "order" FCEL received that they had to cancel because they didn't get the funding to execute it?
Sorry... posted my reply before I saw this post.
Stock triples in a week... It would be halted if announced during trading hours... but FCEL never does that... always in the morning, pre-market. LIPA was the one exception, as they were announcing the award publicly on their website, so FCEL had to halt and announce, as it was material news.
