I am more excited about being able to print a mold than the bmg itself.
I agree. I could see a situation where through a stand a model is built 4 replacement skin as a temporary solution. Then that model is used to print.
The bright sunny day here in the Northeast. I can see green sprouting all over the place. Feeling good about liquid metal and hoping to see green there today too.
I think the developments over the last week point in the right direction, but we will need to wait and see. Some of this needs to play out over weeks and months not days.
Watching the pump articles for a while. This is the first one that I have seen that specifically stated bmg will be used.
I'm not sure I follow this staement. What are the stats on s/u 's and ceo pay?
Just wondering what normal is. This isn't a s/u six years old but bears thought.
I don't make too much of the $300k number because I know a lot of people who make that in more. Working for corporations and not CEOs.
In the short time I've been watching, just over a year, there has been a lot of forward momentum. I guess that's subjective. If I wasn't seeing any progress I'd be much more worried. Time will tell.
CIMA today was a good day for me. One of the few green ones. Whatever you are doing keep doing it.
Very nice. Maybe all the great posts. Feeling pretty green. Funny that I associate lqmt with that color :)
When Steip discussed the line up of opportunities in the sales pipeline he was using terms which I think are related to strategic plans. They would nor publish such a thing but bet they have one.
Damn, dilute much! Cut your pay.
Beach ball much. Wth is the first speaker a ringer or what?
Jolly,
Thought it might be appropriate to reply to this thread. Sine this post 2 or 3 small steps and a big one. Perhaps we aren't crazy after all.

Playing in and out of the black today. Feels good to see the sun out for a change. Buying more shares as we go up ... :) Good luck longs!
Wow, they have had that page with the liquidmetal logo at least since September. Wonder how we all missed that?
Truly the idea that liquidmetal could be used for automobiles is not new, but great to see the use case. Helps with communicating to our customers the possibilities...
Totally agre with the potential. One lesson I think I have learned is life is that fast and easy is a fluke. Nearly every big success has been proceeded by many little steps over time. Yes there are outliers and yes I know that this stock has been languishing a long time. Looking forward to many small steps forward to see this happen.
Personally I do not find the salary for this position high, nor the bonus outrageous based on the expectations we all have. You would need this kind of incentive to attract the right people. Right people is the key point. I'm to far away from day to day to know. All I can go by are the PPS and PR. It sounds like a lot of work has been done. It looks like a lot of progress is being made. Three more real contracts than before. ISO certification. Continued collaboration with some very good players. patents keep rolling in.
All that said as a shareholder at this distance I can only go by the PR and PPS. PR is pretty good, PPS not so much. This is a lottery ticket pure and simple for many. I like the stock because of the technology they are playing with. So many possibilities. I don't count on making anything from this, but admit it is why I bought and why I am holding long term. I'm giving it more time to play out and hey I even bought more shares this week.

BMG as radiation shielding? I have a good amount of experience in the nuclear industry and was wondering about this. Can BMG be used as shielding. NASA thinks so. Maybe Gorgol is influencing me with his red moon comments. Turns out that it might be an alternative to other materials, possibly in space. I wonder if it could be used here on earth? Unicorns and rainbows :)

Updated B/E
Crispy_2014______ 0.1351 01/30/2015 Knife owner
Would that be a brown or black squirrel? Seriously I believe we will see some movement before the end of the year. Having faith in the possibilities. I wish I had waited since I had been accumulating over the last few weeks. But took the opportunity to load up on some shares at .10 and .11 yesterday, bringing my B/E down pretty good over all.
This is a repeat but found it interesting that it showed up on Fox Fox news
Exactly where my head went as well. Seems like a natural fit as the tech evolves.
Taking a look around, I must say this board has cleaned up nicely. Thank you to the admins who keep it clear of clutter. Looking forward to the cc today and believe it will be great. Lots to hear about.
This, no offense guys but 300k by itself isn't much.
I appreciate your response. I find myself wondering many of the same points.
Wow watt does this mean?
Gorgol,
What is all your negativity based on regarding 9-12 months from concept to market? What benchmarks are you using? Are you referring to anything other than emotion? On the surface 9-12 months is not a crazy time frame for a new product, but I cant vouch for it because I dont have the facts. I've seen products move quicker and take longer. Like you said we don't have the details so why waste all this energy downing the CEO and company? 9-12 months may be pretty solid. Concept - Design Feedback - Design - Mold production - Initial production run - Evaluation. Complexity of the part would be key. Thinking the bottom line is until I know the requirements I couldn't put a number on it in hours or dollars. Just some thoughts after reading post after post condemning the time frame quote.
What is the average turnaround time for injection molded plastic designs? That is probably published and could be used for comparison. Under promise and over deliver is a key concept to build in contingency and manage expectations.
Not so dumb. I invested in Amazon based on my heavy personally usage and have been rewarded well. Damn stock jumped almost $90 on the open today. :) Very happy about that! Up over 50% since I first got into it.
Another phone touting Liquid Metal? The Doogee?

I received 1 each 7/16. Already cut myself, lol. In the meantime picked 6 swords. Couldn't help but wonder what if....
Knife Number 65 is in. Finally back in country from traveling for work. Nice to finally see and hold it. It is amazing considering how it was manufactured. I am very pleased with it! Light, easy to use and sharp. No obvious defects or blemishes. Already used it to open some packages. The finger holes allowed for an easy grip. Looking forward to seeing more products produced. :)
Lots of articles out today! I'd expect to see a surge at least for a few hours. Check this article out for fun, showed up in my news feed for liquidmetal.

Pumping it up ;)
Got my shipping notice as well.
From the article:
The Turing Phone uses its own brand of Liquid Metal called Liquidmorphium
Too bad this is Liquidmorphium and not Liquidmetal. Still it could help bring the industry to light and accelerate LQMT?
Thank you for the well thought out post.
I do see .25 on the horizon! It is an awesome time to be a owner of this stock. Really getting impatient about my knife though!
