Interesting article.
What?
Les. I don't think this is the great marketing channel you think it is. Their plan was to have one franchise store open the first year and ten the second year. They are in their second year and have received one franchise fee and have no stores open or even under construction. Mcig has product and they need a retail outlet for that product now.
You get it.
Oh that sneaky 6% to 7% loss a day and then in several days you go "how the hell am I down 40%"? I am not claiming to be so clever. I have been hooked more than once. You get people to chase it up and then very, very slowly walk it back down. It is important here to do this slowly so shareholders go "well I am not selling just because it went down 6% today" and before you know it your brokerage account is a little lighter. I know I am not the only one who has seen this here. Maybe just the only one to talk about it. GLTA
Yea but only about $50,000 traded today. Try making any kind of cash at that level.
Paul doesn't make moves like this unless there is some substantial positives to be gained for MCIG .
Hey, feel free to buy all you want. What I am saying is that you will see no sustained increase, sustained being the key word here, untill there are substancial earnings. New product releases or partnerships with wannabe franchise companies will not accomplish this. Good luck to you my friend.
Seems like they are having a lot more fun on the FOFU board tonight with there 35% increase today. They to seem to think they have a genius for a CEO :) You might say our loss was there gain.
The Mcig 3.0 PR was released on Nov. 17th. Opened at .22 and closed even at .22. It does not matter if you release news about your new product anymore. News about sales of your new product is what investors are looking for. And I hope they are selling a ton of them. But I am afraid the financials are what we are waiting for now.
I think this will slowly be walked back down again unless they have alot of little PR's they can release every other day or so to prop it up. Lets hope they do.
It sucks but it seems for now this is the only way to trade this. Took me awhile but learned my lesson well. I still watch it every day.
You are right. I am not bashing here. Just trying to gather all the facts. Sometimes you have got to dig a little deeper than just reading the PR.
There are no franchise stores! Apparently they need Mcig alot more than Mcig needs them. Check their financials.
Apparently only one person paid the franchise fee back in August but never opened a store. There are no stores.
Does anyone know how many franchise stores are open and where they are located?
Can anyone even find the location of the one franchise store that they say opened last August?
All I can find is they sold first franchise store about 5 months ago and I can't find the location of that one store? They traded at .02 yesterday.
That excitement is gone and more than likely will not be duplicated but I think you know that. You can come out with new products every week but you better have a way to sell them other than online. When we get some good numbers, the share price will move. Otherwise you will see some pops only to watch it fall again.
Seems to be a lot of excitement here. Let me ask you to do this. Go to Mcig.org and take a look at all of the products on the website. Now, with all those products, including Vitacig, the share price went below .11. What now has changed that will run this to .35? The internet radio show won't. The only thing that will is earnings and those at this point are anybodys guess. So please tell me your thoughts on this. If I am wrong, I will be the first to say so. TIA.
Started listening to this a few minutes into it. It was ok for awhile and then I believe the question to Mark was something to do with Vita spinoff. His answer was all over the place from his passion with pot to being disabled and a lot of you knows. The hosts of this show suck and did nothing to help Mark out. Some of their questions were as unclear as some of his answers were. Would I be better at this. Hell no! I suck at any kind of public speaking. I actually turned it off at this point. The good news, and lets face it folks, this is an internet radio program, is that almost no one listened to it. It is one among a zillion programs on the net, and imo did not help nor hinder the company. GLTA
Gotta love a little leverage ass. Come on, thats funny :)
Yea, that might happen. Just not today. Looks like it is going to be an ugly Friday. JMHO
You wouldn't know it by looking at after hours trading. This may not be pretty tomorrow. I hope I am wrong.
After thinking about it, sold my position at .182 this morning. Although the news certainly sounds good, we have seen this before, only to see sp drop back to where pop started. By doing this the last few news releases, I am slowly heading up and getting back some losses. GLTA
Especially the people that got caught up in the moment and bought at .10. Ouch!
I use them for aerial filming using multirotor remote control aircraft or as most people refer to them, drones. Alot of people use these for that activity, and I even heard rumors that GoPro was going to get into the Drone business. I don't know if that is true and people on this board would know alot more about that than me.
Been watching GoPro since IPO. I was notified about IPO by GoPro because I was a customer. Thought about purchasing some at that time. But then I thought about my experience with their product. I have two Hero 3 Black's and I have returned between the two of them, at least 6 cameras that either the HDMI port or the USB port quit working. They were very good at replacing these as long as you went through the steps required by them and it does take some time to you get a replacement camera. That being said, that is why I decided not to take a position here. Of course it went up to $90.00, like all stocks do that I don't have. :) Anyway I continue to now watch this go back down and still have made no decision to purchase. Just thought I would share my experience with their product. GLTA
Now it has.
Not one share of VTCQ has traded since market opened according to Scottrade?
VTCQ not going to trade today?
Thats possible but there are some here down 50% or more on Mcig and now down over 50% on Vitacig only a couple days after trading started. Talk about adding insult to injury! It can't feel good.
Lets hope not because if Vitacig goes back to .01 where it started, where will that leave Mcig?
You really should be worried about the pps. It is your money. Don't worry about them. They are doing just fine. I was hoping to play some of these fluff pr's and try to get some money back but they are not even working any more. Look at the one released today. IMHO they should concentrate on promoting product they have now. What is the point of this software bulls**t.
Not looking good. People selling this stock. For those that bought at .06 .08 and .10 I am truly sorry.
Unloaded mine the end of the day the news came out. Fool me 6 times, shame on me :)
Les. Bottom line is this. Almost no one knows what a Vitacig is. Revenues are proof of that up to this point. Vape shops in my area have never heard of it. People I talk to have not either. Now they do the IPO. Who will even know. Vitacig has not been doing well in the public relations department and institutional investors will not even get near a penny stock. Who is going to jump all over this. Sorry my friend. Irrational exuberance.
You may be right dbg but I think trading today was in the words of Alan Greenspan, irrational exuberance. To watch someone lose 40% of their investment in about 5 minutes at the very least sucks. I really cannot fathom why this would trade this high at this time. It was easy to get caught up in the "hey it is trading now buy all you can mentally today. Good luck to everyone here.
If they are so global, show me the sales. I know, wait until next quarter, right?
Ok Gotcha. The problem with the IPO, IMO, is almost no one knows who the hell Vitacig is and it will take one hell of a convincing press release, other than us receiving emails, to pull this off. We shall see I guess.
