Private insurance has perverted the entire healthcare industry in the US.
We need single payer.
I guess you were a bit premature predicting Google's nose-dive, Prosper. Nice day.
Patience, risk it.
Oh Man! It closed over .20.
This is what we dreamed of all those years we were waiting for the court case to end, the court case in which we clobbered JNJ 4 times!!!
TWENTY CENTS A SHARE! THANK YOU KEITH BERMAN!
WOW!! It's up to .18!
DECN -- WINNER!
You certainly are right about that, Viking. Predictions of DECN's demise have been going on a long time.
DECN .1306-.14.
Imagine if DECN hadn't "beaten" JNJ so thoroughly.
DECN .1301-.14.
Real.
Meanwhile, lest we get too distracted with all this TAUG hysteria, DECN had a great day today, up a whole two one hundredths of a cent to .142.
Longs have got to be happy, right? Right?
Go DECN!
You can't make this stuff up.
By what standards is it determined that genultimate is "more accurate" than one steps? Against what determination. The former has never been determined more accurate than the latter except insubstantially by pseudonyms on mbs.
I had a bid in at 2.80. Just missed it.
Nice to see you again, Leirum. I don't necessarily agree that technically we have hit a bottom here--I think we could see .08 again--but I agree with your assessment that these "Players who understand Business" are in a position to help run this thing up again, even if temporarily. I may miss it, but I'm looking for a lower re-entry.
. . . regardless of the Brexic turmoil - I added to my Position again . . .
Insinuations, innuendos and rumors that can't be backed up.
I thought the price is going down because investors have realized they were mislead about the company's focus on production and sales, the size of the settlement they were to receive from JNJ, the amount of dilution, the corporate structure of DECN, and management's concern for the shareholders and members of the diabetic community.
Since everyone in NY knows who this one seller is and why he needs to sell, you might as well share it with us too. Right? It's not a secret, right?
And if it's one seller who has other needs now, what does that have to do with "negative message board talk?"
Is it one seller who's doing all the selling or negative message board talk that has cause it? Which is it?

You saw a sell signal?
The absence of clarity was to be expected. The stock has stayed afloat only due to rumor, implications and innuendo indirectly tied to management but coming from sources who can't be held liable for disseminating false information.
You were warned, diarch.
Unfathomable?
It's been well explained why what's happening is happening.
You listened to the wrong sources.
I don't know what all this subterfuge concerning leaked documents is all about, and it hasn't been illuminated in this discussion, but it's increasingly looking to me that DECN's only focus and hope for revenue is through litigation.
back to the post that made shareholders rejoice!
But why the constant implications that people who are skeptical about the future of DECN are in the employ of either Shasta or JNJ?
Anything written on a stock bulletin board by people writing under pseudonyms isn't going to have any consequence on a court case between two businesses.
It seems that when justified criticisms of DECN are stated here, its supporters reply that the person who posted them are obviously working for a company DECN is in suit with. It's an attempt to dismiss criticism that very well may be true by saying that the accuser has ulterior (but unlikely) motives, which doesn't address the issues that have been raised.
A date and time was posted by North along with the implication that whatever happened then was a turning point, "a blessing," for our little DECN, and you seconded that innuendo.
post by Northitgoes
What is the significance of this innuendo?
Nice bait.
We have accusations full of unspecified implications and now we have implications of great, momentum turning news about the company without any substance to what the news is even about.
Gosh, maybe I should buy more shares based on these implications of information.
Either accuse me of it or don't.
I have no idea what all these implications about Shasta have to do with the DECN's current situation. I thought Shasta was out of the picture.
Please explain what all this recent talk about Shasta has to do with DECN's current situation. Thanks
EDIT: Also, please explain how it is in Shasta's interest to speak poorly of DECN on a bulletin board. As a DECN shareholder, I'm eager to learn about this.
Thanks again.
I think everyone who keeps asking "what Shasta thinks about that" should clearly state what it is they are trying to imply.
We're in rare agreement. Whatever happens between DECN and JNJ is not going to effect JNJs share price.
So, let's put to rest the insistent myth that JNJ has paid operatives trying to litigate this case on the bulletin boards.
It makes lots of cents to me!
I wonder if the judge also mnishandled all those DECN "victories."
JNJ didn't exactly have their ass handed to them. JNJ trading near its all time high; poor DECN struggling under .20, down 67% since the settlement.
Share buyback. Stock halted due to "volatility."
the patent infringement suit was filed in Nevada because it was a good venue, but more importantly because DECN became convinced they would never get a fair shake in the NoCal court. Too much buddy-buddy between the Federal Judge and J&J's lead counsel.
Equate is Walmart's house brand.
Where did Walmart announce that "they are expecting a new alternative to J&J strips?"
You put the settlement in the back of your head, the settlement that was going to catapult share price of DECN into dollars. You just want to know when Costco and Walmart will have DECN on their shelves. Well, I would suggest that you don't hold your breath. Management finds it more profitable to sell shares than to sell Genstrips.
Wrestling was fixed. It was a show. Inappropriate analogy. This is reality. People's real money is riding on this.
Yes, it was a smashing victory DECN enjoyed over JNJ. It was a court case that's going to be studied in law and business schools all over this country.
DECN: .145-.15
TICK TOCK TICK TOCK
CTDH gapped up in to the .40s and showing some early volume.
CTDH -- What's going on and please let it not stop.
I didn't buy in until after the split. On 6/1/15 I bought shares for 3.35. I'm up .03 on those shares, although I have averaged way down.
Tick tock tick tock?
This case will last months, if not years.
