Doc Feelgood, do you still feel confident that NNVC will schedule a Pre-INDA Meeting With FDA before May 30, 2011, with a complete toxicology package ready to go to an INDA.
Dr. Eva Harris presented at 1:30 yesterday and mentioned NNVC positively in her comments, per the Blog from Dr. Seymour.
For those interested, it may be enlightening to read Raymond Kurzweil's research, writing, and perspective on "Singularity", and ponder what implications it has for nanomedicine in general and NNVC in particular. Time magazine's latest issue devotes considerable space to the subject.
If the FDA is not "geared" for these new technologies, they've had their heads in the sand for the last five years, and we've been wasting billions of taxpayer dollars sending them to conferences such as this.
These tests have been going on for more than five years, across multiple species, and with multiple formulations. Shouldn't one think that there is enough toxicology data available to satisfy even the most skeptical FDA bureaucrat?
I can'trecall anyone in authority at NNVC, or Dr. Harris, talking about perfection. What I did hear was a desire to have a single approach to all strains of Dengue and in the process to tweak the formula for even better efficacy. I believe that is what has been happening since last June.
NNVC has announced a delay in the 10Q. Does anyone think that is to allow for inclusion of news released in San Juan?
The flurry of NNVC detractors tells me that next week should be very good for all the longs. Best wishes to all, and down with DENGUE.
You can't blame Forzanano, we're all so ex-cided.
If Dr. Harris announces new results in her own testing of NNVC's dengue treatment, is she bound by the SEC rules on disclosure?
You appear to be a savant on all things related to bio-medical research, and therefore, do not require in-depth study as we mere mortals do. On that basis, perhaps you can offer your services to the advisory board and thereby accelerate the development process. (Sarcasm)
No motive. Just trying to add a little humor to the board. My last post was euphemistic not literal.
You may be well advised to cover your short. If you leave it hanging out there long enough it could get squeezed off in a violent upswing.
Careful Doc. You might rile them up. Best to let sleeping dogs lie. (All puns intended). EOM
Careful Weedie!!!! Those guesses may come back to haunt you a la Dr. Feelgood's witless detractors.
Keltoi, I agree with you completely. I am only warning against disappointment if we don't get 'instant gratification'. I am a true believer and I have been long since 2005. I've also suffered through all the previous disappointments.
I don't wish to be a wet blanket, but every time the board gets this euphoric things don't turn out as well as we would like. I hope I am wrong this time. I'm not sure what the workshop presenters can say that will have immediate commercial (or stock market) value. The real effects will come when the discoveries are implemented. Maybe in Nicaragua.
I don't know about Dr. Seymour, but we'd all be willing to let you volunteer.
Nothing fundamental has changed. This looks like the usual manipulation by shorts and MMs prior to a major runup. BTW, don't down gaps have to be closed also?
What is your basis for calling NNNVC a sham stock? EOM
Do your own due diligence. The records are available at the CDC website.
Dr. Eva Harris, Dr. Harold Margolis, and Dr. Eugene Seymour attended a major conference in Atlanta last fall whose major focus was Dengue fever. Dr. Margolis, who is head of Dengue research at the Centers for Disease Control, joined the other two doctors for a three hour lunch. One can assume the subjects discussed involved NNVC's approach to treating Dengue Fever.
I believe you are wrong. Dr. Harris facilitated a three hour meeting between Nanoviricide officers and the government's leading scientist in Dengue research. I think that constitutes involvement.
These shares were gifted to his children for tax and estate planning purposes.
I believe Dr. Margolis was the fourth person at the three hour luncheon in Atlanta with Seymour, Diwan and Harris.
I add my best wishes to all for a happy and safe Christmas and a very PROSPEROUS New Year.
I believe the former bashers of NNVC are being surreptitiously represented under new aliass.
Very cogent and well stated response. Sail on, sail on.
I transferred my regular IRA to a Roth IRA at Fidelity with no need to cash out first. The proceeds are taxable 50% in 2011 tax year and 50% in 2012.
It is my speculation that Dr. Harris authorizzed her people in Nicaragua to release this in Spanish with their headline. That way she has plausible deniability. No previous communication said anything about a "Cure for Dengue Fever".
Echo, your thoughts are rambling. Are you feverish. The last person you need to put business discipline into NNVC is Dr. Eva Harris. She is a researcher/philospher/visionary/philanthropist of the first order. She is of the most value to NNVC where she is. Her passions and NNVC's passions form a perfect symbiotic relationship. NNVC needs a Chief Operating Officer that understands how to prioritize and communicate.
The filing was announced today for a transaction that was effective on 11/12/10. Form 4 SEC
I'm surprised that there have been no comments on Dr. Seymour's Form 4 filing of a gift of 2,500,000 shares. I see this as a way of setting a basis value for the stock so that the recipient can claim Capital Gains tax status for the future appreciation. For me this is an indication on Dr. Seymour's part that the stock is on the verge of a major appreciation cycle.
With nine months to look and test Dr. Harris knows what she has. She is anxious to get this drug to her patients in Nicaragua and she has the professional clout to move the bureaucrats in Washington. Yeah, she'll make things happen faster.
Is it safe to assume that Dr. Harris facilitated the meeting with Doctors Diwan and Seymour with the government's leading authority on Dengue? Does it folllow that they may have discussed fast-tracking Denguec-cide? They didn't spend three hours discussing the price of tea in China.
When I was in the manufacturing world the marketing people were always complaining that the engineers had "Paralysis by Analysis'. Do doctors suffer from the same malady?
How many fabulously successful tests are required by NNVC to convince the FDA to grant an IND? It appears they are testing rhemselves into oblivion. As was said in the famous Nike ad, "Just Do It".
NNVCLover, were you ngoing for irony or satire when you switched your alias?
I suggest that if Dr, Seymour has any hidden tricks up his sleeve, now would be a very good time to pull them out, before the sun sets completely on that beach in Hawaii.
I am so reminded of the words of Pope Julius II concerning his frustration with Michelangelo's progress on the Sistine Chapel frescoes. "When will you make an end of it, Buonarotti?"
