gkarman: Go into a store that scans barcodes (any store, basically) and chances are if you look close the manufacturer of the scan equipment is "Symbol". Their REAL BIG in this area.
Ah, it just hit me who definitely has them (at least in our area)...Home Depot. They use the yellow ones. I know this because we used the same model in our manufacturing systems test environment to track boards being tested becuase they were wireless and very configurable.
"a jailbreak!"...LoveIt! EOM
WAKAWAKAWAKAWAKA... :D
I was thinking something very similar, Picksit. I was thinking of it like a "bookmark". Click something "mobile", don't have the time to go over it until later so it can be "bookmarked" for later viewing.
Both would seem like natural progressions. Heck, especially if the two of us thought of it! LOL!!!
Thanx, Personalizit. I was on the phone w/ my "gap" friend yesterday and TOTALLY forgot to ask him. Subject never came up. I'll forward your analysis to him and get his opinion.
I still don't understand the "gaps". Can you shed some light, Personalizit?
Thanx,
lns
Sorry...if I only would've read the posts first. EOM
I'm one of the subscribers to his "larger" services where he often teases "us" w/ bits'n'pieces of "big" things happening w/ his other, MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE, services.
We'll, he's kept his word, but a little investigative work on his tout's of how to "Triple your money by July 4th -- you must act now.", etc...led me right here. Thank you, Tobin. (like he doesn't know how easy it is to "Google" find your way to the stock he's describing).
I just got another one this morning, w/ that exact "July 4th..." headline. Here are a couple other blurbs...
"But now this rocket is really ready for liftoff - I want you to buy the stock under 30-cents now, with a move up to $1.00 likely by July 4th. And you MUST do it now, before the trigger - the announcement of a major Fortune 100 equity/licensing deal - ... something I expect in the next 3-4 weeks."
"And if you've got some patience - and want to own a stock that could
well be 20-25 times HIGHER by the end of 2007 - I urge you
unequivocally to come along. At 30 cents, 10,000 shares cost a
measly $3,000. A move just to five bucks brings your stake to 50 grand!"
"Based on the activities of the last week, I can forecast that this firm expects to announce a Fortune 100 company equity/licensing deal in the very near future - and we should expect to see the stock at $1 or more near-term as a result."
"The deal will be final confirmation that their proprietary
PaperClick product is going to be the primary technology for
machine-read URLs. But they only get the best terms with MSFT, et al, if they can show they DON"T need their money too badly."
As Tobin says, "Hit 'em straight"!
wow...big, real big. Thanx for sharing.
rotorhead: That's very generous of you giving away shares. Regarding promotion though, that's FCB's baby. NeoMedia has their time tied up in making DEALS!$!$!$!
Tax extension: I did it back in 2000 having no clue if I owed or not (suspected I did but said "Ahhh, "F" it). Ended up having to pay what I owed and no more. Thought they'd send me a letter wanting a "late charge" penalty, but nope, nothin'. Maybe I just slipped through the cracks, but I think that's about the worst they can do...make you pay a late penalty.
Hi Vox: Wow, IMO you sure picked a winner for one of your first "major" investments. Heck, that $500 or so that you put down now may afford you a decent house down the road.
I'm pretty new to NEOM and this board myself. Glad to see others are "joinin' the party" to!
cloud: I have and there's nothing to it. You fill out the extension form and send it in.
Stratalites? That's a new one on me.
This thought just flew through my head...
What Google is for e-commerce, NEOM's going to be for m-commerce.
Good point, number cruncher. EOM
ALYNNB: To add to that thought, by doing so they would effectively raise their % ownership in the company which could get them closer to the 51% they need to defintely thwart any possible future takeover bid.
Sounds plausible to me.
From what it seems to me, there is no "approval" that has to be done w/ Cornell, but the SEC has to "approve" the BSDS/NEOM merger, like all mergers.
lns
IMO, that has nothing to do w/ the S4. Two totally separate items, IMO. One is Cornell, one is the SEC approval of the BSDS/NEOM merger.
Please, correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know for sure.
lns
That is, if all of those events take place. EOM
I'll throw in guess...
June 15th - July 15th.
I'll go one further...
Nov. 27th - Dec. 27th over $2
All just total pullin' outta you know where, pie-n-sky, hopeful guesses.
10.000...What?
On that, I also heard the WSJ article about cell phones being the "catchall" device on our local AM news station.
All this cell phone talk bodes well for NEOM.
That an awesome article and really points to the need for a change.
NeoMedia is the vehicle for that change, IMO.
Unbelievable! Yet, it could be happening, not only right before our eyes, but right in our own wallets.
HAVE FAITH!
brian3528: I'm sure they'd like some cash settlement, but I too believe they won't get it or if they do it's not going be a huge amount like we'd all enjoy seeing.
Reason being is because I ask myself this, "What real damage and monetary gain has Branson/VirginEntertainment gained since they've started using the application in their Virgin music stores?
My guess would be, not too much.
If anything though, IMO, it has helped get the word out early on this concept. A fact that can only help NeoMedia and Virgin (especially if they licence/team/partner somehow w/ NEOM) in the longrun.
Looking forward to an exciting month ahead! :)
chucker: I think it was 20% + 5MM. EOM
Wow, that would be a double-whammy in the right direction...Cornell being "forced" to puchase shares, hold them and NEOM using the money to take further shares off the market.
WOW!!! What a lovely thought.
Wow, at this rate, they could potentially be in a myriad of overlapping "quiet periods" for the couple years!
OK by me! :)
johncee: Let'em and add more if you can, IMO.
You 'da man?! :/
LOCKED'N'LOADED! :D
ALYNNB: I don't think he walks on water but he does know the fundamentals and has a team of many from inside lots of sectors of the economy that help him steer his ship.
He may not time them all perfect...he often waits until there's confirmation, at which time you've already lost out on a huge gain...just look at when he started touting NEOM (not by name) to his "basic level" members: only after it jumped from the SAIC news. And a lot of his information lately about the energy sector...really gets one thinking.
I've watched him and his recommendations for quite a while now and from my point of view, he's one of the only services I would trust for the most informed recommendations.
Heck, what is investing in the stock market(s) anyway?
Nothing more than INFORMED gambling.
Symbol Technologies. What was the issue w/ them? Infringement, competition or what? Sorry for that but I think I remember reading before some word of worriment about them.
Reason I ask that is if there was any perceived issue or potential future conflict (infringement or the likes) w/ them, I think those thoughts can be put to rest. From Page 47 (and I apologize if this has already been posted)...
NeoMedia Internet Switching Software
NeoMedia has spent the past decade developing and patenting the now confirmed space of linking the physical and Internet environments, and developing and implementing five generations of continuously refined switch technology that bridge these environments. During the past year-and-half, NeoMedia has introduced PaperClick(R) for Camera Cell Phones and PaperClick(R) Mobile Marketing Services, shifting the focus of this dynamic unit to the rapidly emerging mobile marketing sector. NeoMedia is strategically pursuing potential licensees of the PaperClick(R) switching platform, as well as intellectual property licensing opportunities with organizations attempting to commercialize physical-world-to-Internet technology, such as Symbol Technologies, A.T. Cross Company and Brandkey Systems Corporation.
ss: You subscibe to his "penny stock" service?
I subscribe to his regular service and always get enticers about every three weeks to join his "penny stock" service in which he describes this company but doesn't give the name.
Reason I ask is that I didn't receive an updated "enticer" from him yet and timing indicates I should see one any day now.
Just curious,
lns
I wish I had some extra dough but I'm lovin' it just the same and VERY THANKFUL FOR BEING LED HERE!
LONG & STRONG & LOVIN' THE RIDE!!!
You're right Schep, it's about fundamentals not technicals. EOM
astocktr8r: If I'm not mistaken, NEOM can continue this agreement indefinitely, upon their discretion....please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have the full 8K in front of me.
If that's the case, as time goes on and hopefully the pps increases, dilution becomes less and less of an issue.
Thanx for confirming my gut, yj. EOM
cloud8, regarding hearing anything real from SAIC since that first announcement, IMO, since SAIC is a private company they are not subject to the pressure to "perform" for investors sake and therefore have the luxury to release or not release what they want, when they want, and IMO, will only do so here when things are in place and fully up and running. And, IMO, NEOM may be following those lines of thought and will not step on SAIC's toes to rush incremental annoucements just to appease our curiosity.
mactex, it definitely seems like their not worried about any "going concern" w/ NEOM, that's for sure.
I like this part of that section, "(ii) adversely affect the validity or enforceability of, or the authority or ability of the Company to perform its obligations under, this Agreement or any of the documents contemplated herein"
Sounds like a favorable pending court decision ahead to me.
Hmmmm, think they know something we don't?
Touche! I think you hit it. Many of us, and I'm guilty, have conveniently neglected to realize your point. It's gonna take a lot of up up front yeast to make this dough rise, and just the fact that we are teamed up w/ the "Iron Chef" of bread making w/ this venture still doesn't negate the fact that we have to equip our OWN kitchen w/ state-of-the-art cookwear and appliances!
As you mentioned, "it takes money to make money"!
