I heard greater than $5, but I like to be conservative, so $5 it is.
Perfect thanks! I am going to stick it until we hit that number lol.
.211 for me
Lol me either I am in. One thing I will say is that I will keep some lqmt stock no matter what just in case 10 years from now it's worth millions.
We should all buy and drive the price up lol
Engel has high hopes for Liquidmetal | Plastics News
http://www.plasticsnewseurope.com/article/20160617/PNE/160619843/engel-has-high-hopes-for-liquidmetal
Engel has reported an enthusiastic response from potential customers to its work in metal injection moulding with US-based Liquidmetal Technologies.
In January, Engel held a joint event with its system partners Liquidmetal and Materion at its Technologieforum Stuttgart in Germany, which attracted more than 200 guests from both plastics and metals
manufacturers.
Heinz Rasinger, VP of Engel teletronics, said after the event: “We have discussed some very concrete ideas together with the participants at our forum. The results have shown that it will be less a question of substituting the material in existing products, but much rather how we can design components in a way that can take full advantage of the potential of the material.”
The amorphous zirconium-based alloys developed by Liquidmetal are suited to injection moulding. Engel suggested applications in the medical sector – such as long and delicate instruments for keyhole surgery – functional components for electrical devices and decoration elements for automotive interiors.
“For some products, the discussions led to some very promising approaches,” said Rasinger. “We will be starting the first projects shortly.”
Thomas Steipp, CEO at Liquidmetal, said: “At our technology centre in California, we have already fabricated sample multi-component parts with Liquidmetal and another metal.”
Apple and Swatch are among Liquidmetal’s first licensees. Engel said it does not know
which components will be made in Liquidmetal alloys by those two companies. However, there has been online speculation that the hinges on Apple’s ultra-thin MacBooks, to be launched later in 2016, will be metal injection moulded.
That price always makes me laugh. Yahoo has had that target there for a couple of years. No idea how.
Jolly put me down for .21 this week.
Way to stay positive! Watching this train wreck of a message board is daunting lol. If folks are going to post up new posts hour after hour based on nothing new, no new news, no dd, nothing, it's nice to see a positive one at least once in a while thank you!
Well I got my vote of .21 for Wednesday, so I can support ya! Smells like the 20s.
Probably a reasonable analysis. Maybe someday we will know.
Thanks Sparky. So at least on the surface this looks like a real opportunity (medical), but just not as quickly as any of us would like. Totally get that it takes time for these things to develop. I'm a propeller head myself and usually under estimate time frames by a factor of 3. It's a curse, but it doesn't mean it won't happen, right?
For fun, van I get a fact check on when we heard the "rumour" about applied? Pretty sure CIMA brought it up last year. Maybe that is 18 months. Time sure does fly. Since then we have seen anecdotal evidence that LQMT is indeed engaged in working with medical prototypes?
I am looking forward to good day and great week. Without any news I don't expect to see a whole lot happen, but I think we will see you there slowly creep up day after day. Just because folks wanting to get in now. I am going to make an early prediction of $0.21 Friday. I figure if I keep saying the same number eventually will hit it
Rail guns are amazing. Not the first it's been discussed here. This is a real possibility? I seem to remember ...

Liquidmetal canard anyone? They've done it, they have finally done it. This could be big. The article does not mention lqmt.

Really I think all the new news is awesome. The price has come up and will continue to climb on some speculation, it may hover but it's already taken off. From some people's perspective they already missed the boat. Great things ahead. Really looking forward to September ;)
Funny you mention that. One of the fantasy thoughts I've had is the use of bmg to construct ships and habitats in space.
Funny. Never thought I'd have a Dick Tracy watch, talking phone or even cable when I was growing up. Anything is possible.
This week had been exciting I'm still holding my shares to see where this is all headed. If nothing else this is fun to watch. Put me down for .211
I am very pleased right now. From my perspective buying in Dec 14 and adding shared over time has worked out quite well. Lots of ups and downs on this board. Not so much in the real world. Lots of progress over the last 1-1/2. Major infusion of cash. Talk of wishful use in Apple products has subtly changed in flavor to a "given" (though I still realize that could still not materialize). Too many new factors to relish them all. One step at a time we move forward.
Feeling like I should have bought more last week. If this baby is on the way up to .25 nows the time.
Me too. I bought more this week. Still good money for me.
Wouldn't that be a hoot? Right now I am happy to see incremental progress and looking forward to seeing more of it.
I'm going for a repeat, .14+ ;)
Pretty good assessment of possible changes to the iPhone including materials.
Everything we know about the iPhone 7

Friday prediction close over .14 :)
Nice. Feel free to share a few of those with me. I follow a couple other unicorns too.
Liquidmetal vs Titanium. Can one of you tell me is this a new video?
https://vimeo.com/162512938
Watts, can't disagree with your observations. Just saying over the year there have been changes. I'm looking for the new BOD makeup to address some these as well.
Squeeze, squeeze, squeeze and a diamond will appear!
Well I would have to say that our position has strongly improved over the last year or so. What has changed in this period of time?
The company has been funded for the time being (assuming a successful vote). New relationships have been forged. New orders successful or not have emerged. Engle machines have advanced. We may now have a new manufacturing partner who can manufacture on a large scale, using additional formulas. Patents continue to build. Apple is using LQMT and I just used my liquidmetal knife to cut my cigar.
I am sure there are several things I have left out both positive and negative.... Old BOD members gone new BOD on the way in. Insiders with their OWN money in the game which is much different than options.
All of this is much different than about a year ago with the RSM being announced and no clear paths forward....
Welcome aboard!
Personally I am rooting for new complex airplane structural design. Combined with thin plates.
Interesting 3D printing article about xjet. No connection. To using our Version of liquid metal however we could see where some of this could lead.

It's very very quiet.
I have to agree with your optimism things they are a changing.
Lol, I know. It's kinda an inside joke. Always send peeps to yahoo finance to look up the 1 year target price.
You got it. Thought it was pretty cool pulling parts out of a puddle of liquid.
I believe that we will see a jump on the iPhone 7 news in the autumn. I'd like to see
2.36
Imagine if this technique could be adapted to liquid metal. We could literally grow liquid metal parts.
