Goldman Sachs forecast:
“In our view, pulp prices are at an early stage of a potential ‘super-cycle’ which is not reflected in current stock prices,’’ the analysts wrote. “Supply constraints should keep the market tight even with conservative forecasts for demand recovery.”

Regional Airline Mesa Air Has Official Committee
Mesa Air Group Inc., the regional airline that filed under Chapter 11 on Jan. 5, has a seven-member official creditors’ committee including aircraft manufacturers Bombardier Inc. and Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica SA, better known as Embraer. Montreal-based Bombardier was listed as being owed $133 million while Brazil-based Embraer is shown as holding $42 million in claims.
Other committee members include the pilots’ union and two indenture trustees.
Saying that 52 aircraft were “parked” and another 25 aren’t needed, Mesa explained that bankruptcy reorganization was needed to deal with an “untenable financial situation” resulting from excess aircraft.
The airline on entering Chapter 11 was operating 130 aircraft with 700 daily departures serving 127 cities in 41 states, Canada and Mexico. Revenue in 2009 was $968 million.
Phoenix-based Mesa listed assets of $976 million against debt totaling $869 million. Liabilities include $393 million on loans secured by 24 owned aircraft, $26 million on three note issues, and $33.6 million secured by 20 other aircraft. In addition, there is $1.62 billion in potential liability on aircraft leases.
Mesa operates regional aircraft under code-sharing agreements with US Airways Group Inc., UAL Corp.’s United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines Inc. Mesa’s subsidiary in Hawaii, go! Mokulele, didn’t file.

Yes, They have done a great job with Healthsouth (HLSH) a couple of years ago.
Thanks
Thanks
Buffett used to own Great Lakes Chemical stock too, some years ago. He has seen some value in it when it was trading around $20. so, what is its intristic value now when is sitting at $.20?
Bob, Great news! But the selling pressure is still on. :( Unbelievable. Well, I'm holding tight, and looking forward tomorrow's CC. Greg
rok.v Bob, it's nice to see it finally moving decisively in the right direction. I've added to my position this week too, and I'm pretty much loaded here. I also have been buying cmm.v shares. Now, I want to see this one stop its bleeding, and starting perform in line with its potential.
They've had some news today too:
Century Mining Appoints Chief Financial Officer and a New Manager of Investor Relations
Bob, CMM.v I agree that we are past due some positive news.
Never thought that I'll be adding to my position again, but
this slide got the PPS all the way back to my average price.
So, I jumped in for some more. I might buy a few more tomorrow too,
and I kind of hope that this price level stays here for another month because next month
I'll have more available funds. If CMM.v and ROK.v will be under a buck next month I'll be really loading a boat.
CMM.v I couldn't resist these prices, and added some more. Next month they should announce their first profits...
MikeS, It's good to see you here. If you don't mind me asking: how did you find this one?
CMM.v Bob, sure it is a good news. I'm glad that I've added some shares last week on that weakness.
BTW, I bought another round of ROK shares on today's dip. I hope they will look good in the near future too.
ROK.v Another interesting interview with Scott...

ROK.v closed at the HOD .93 Sweeeeeeeet
Bob, I know what you mean. I have an unfilled buy order at $.75 since the begining of this week. I hate to chase them too, so
I have to be happy with what I have. But, I still might add to my position at "my price" if it ever comes to it. This is my only base metal junior stock. Now, I'm going to listen to that RobTV interview with Scott.
My other favorite canadian junior is the gold miner: CMM.v.
ROK.v had a very good day. New high on huge volume.
CMM.v I added some more today; it looks like a bargain of century to me at these prices. Greg
CMM Hey Marvel, Great to see you in this one.
I don't hink this is going to do what HLHS did
to our portfolios, but it has everything to
become the zip code changer.
Bobwins - CMM.V I bought more the other day too. What a bargain!
Be buying more on Tuesday if some margin calls will push it even lower.
OT: good one...

Canadian Gold stocks: Bob,
I would add to your list one more company: Century Mining (CMM.V)
OMOG
Rogue, How did you find this one? And what made you to state that this is "a real oil company with relatively honest management"? Greg
did you guys read this article?
http://money.cnn.com/2005/10/21/news/newsmakers/barrack/index.htm?cnn=yes
Very interesting. Now, if LNG will be in such demand:
what companies can capitalize on it? Any LNG experts
out there? Greg
Bob,
I bought some yersteday, and today too. I've got spoiled with these Canadian's stocks; just sold half of my ENG.V shares today (quick triple). I asked you about it a few of weeks ago on the other board, and you explaind to me the trick of buying canadian stocks without overpaying. Thanks again.
Do all these stocks ending with V give you that kind of return? :)
RE: BDGR.PK
StockCowboy
Joe Lanza might be involved with this company. Some of the assets they claim had been hijacked from OMDA.PK. That's why you can see the current CEO as a defendent in this lawsuit:
http://www.omogoil.com/legal_updates.html
Also, it looks that he doesn't know the difference between mmcf, and mcf. Just read their last PR where he says 1.4 million mmcf; that's 1.4 billion cubic feet! Greg
Bobwins; did you mean this article?
