Last year, the revenue was 404 million, how come here it says last year it was 322 millions.
I guess I was confused by its legal structure, they mentioned 121 million shares was transfered?
What is the common share to Adr ratio of SPU?
Cannot read it, needs to register.
Is it an influential newspaper?
Could someone please post a translated version?
# of 10gm shrimps: 270k*72*98% = 19051.2 k
# of 17gm shrimps: 272k*48*98% = 12794.88 k
So sell 19051k-12795k = 6256k size-10gm shrimps
# of 66gm shrimps: 1280k*3*99% = 3801.6 k
So sell 12795-3801k = 8993.4k size-17 shrimps
so sell 3801.6 k size-66 shrimps.
(8993.4K * 17)/ (6256k*10) = 2.44
163mt/52mt = 3.13 (should be 2.44) why not the same?
3801k*66/ (8993.4k*17) = 1.64
253mt/163mt = 1.55 (should be 1.64) why not the same?
I do not think they sell 6gm shrimps. Considering that they have 600k x 36 tanks, with 105 mortality rate, after the shrimps grow to 6gm, they are transferred to 72 tanks with each containing 270k. So the numbers add up: 600k * 36 * 90% = 72*270k. So what happens is that they sell 52mt for 10gm-sized shrimps, 163mt for 17gm-sized shrimps and 253mt for 66gram-sized shrimps.
Maybe you could ask Dan on how confident the company is in filing its 10-k on time.
Norway offended China a few years ago by awarding one of the dissendents Nobel Peaze Price. That year, Salmon export from Norway to China dropped 80%. I do not know the situation now after Norway replaced the chairman.
Had she been appointed as CFO, what would be the response here? Besides, she might have refused to be an acting one considering they demoted her from CFO only a year ago.
I saw 48 buildings in the video. If 3buildings give us 10,000MT annually, we end up with 160,000MT. They saiD they target 200,000MT, so where does the remaining 40,000MT come from?
nice video. it's nice to see that RHI group now owns 8%.
Guess what, Peter replied to me today and he copied Dan's reply to me. I did not expect the reply today since it is a Sunday. Anyway, thank Peter for his effort. Apparently, Solomon is a workaholic and whoever works for him needs to work on Sunday as well, including his shareholders like us:)
I hope the new auditing firm can get their job done on time. After all, this is the first year for SIAF to be an accelerated filer.
Speculatively speaking, the accelerated-filer-status of SIAF could be the very reason for the former auditing firm to resign. After all, it is a small auditing firm and I bet none of its clients is an accelerated filer.
Emptyone, Dan's email did not address the reason why there was a 2wk gap between the date of resignation and the date SIAF became aware of the resignation. I am not convinced. But at least Solomon responded tp your email. I also wrote to Solomon, but I heard nothing back from him. So I guess you belong to the 1% club and hence they treat you with more respect.
I think Nordic investors should also send emails to the other IR guy. US is closed on Monday, but Oslo is open.
yes, I did send to Peter.
I sent an email yesterday evening after reading the 8k filing. I urge my fellow shareholders do the same.
How do you explain that the resignation letter was dated January 28th but the company became aware on February 11th? Had the company intended to change the auditing firm, there would be no such gap.
Carog and Hyperboy, do you guys know anything about the accounting firm resignation?
Since they can only dispose 23523 shares, could the remaining shares be collateral shares?
I cannot imagine that they start stocking before the Chinese new year. All the migrant workers will go to their home town for the festival. I'd bet the mega farm won't start stocking next week.
Thanks for the info. So it seems that we will run into problems when we receive these dividend shares for OSLO, but our brokers do not trade OSLO listed stocks.
Thank you for clarifying. :
It is indeed interesting that a US based bank owns 5% at Merkur. when did it start to own? were those shares transferred from OTC or they were purchased in Merkur? Hope we can dig out what was going on here.
Doesn't the Bank of New York Mellon have to report since they own more than 5% of a company? I checked its filing with SEC, I did not see SIAF been listed in its holdings.
I think Hyperboy is saying that the 660k shares in Merkur , reported by the US based banks, is actually from RHI gangs.
Emptyone, let's say you have 1000 shares of SIAF in your IRA, when the company spins off, they give you 1000 shares of the new company as divident. So you are going to have shares of the new company which only trade in OSLO. So what if your broker does not trade internationally? Hope you see what I mean.
Have you thought about what's going to happen after the spin off? The account has to be able to trade internationally, right?
Emptyone, does Schwad allow us to hold foreign stocks in a Roth IRA account? Right now, I am with Fidelity, it seems to me that they do not allow owning foreign stocks in Roth IRA accounts.
Swedes, thanks for the info, but where did you get this?
I am hopeful that the following have been achieved so far by listing in Mercur:
(1) a bottom price, say 80NOK or $9.00
(2) an upward trend
(3) a coverage by SwedBank (is it a big bank in Sweden? How many clients does it have?)
(4) Mercur becomes the leading exchange for SIAF.
Anything else?
I just did not get why the sister company GY wanted the swap deal. It seems that they lost a lot for the swapping. Seems illogical to me.
better than one can hope for.
probably so, February 7th is the Chinese new year.
They should have a PR when the Mega farm starts stocking.
What is going to happen to the shares shorted? I think they will create some storms to cover.
I did not expect such a big arbitrage. 80.5nok is $9.14.
so we do have arbitrage.
Where did you see this?
Isn't this amazing? Our little SIAF.
Because he can buy cheaper.
Will we know how many shares are transfered to Oslo? Is that info available?
