One of those Fridays - starts in red then booms out of the park.
Got PYPL 74 calls just for fun.
BABA 190 calls went down to 1c, now at a dollar. Crazy
JB, you did not disappoint. NFLX 315 ran from .33c to 3.60. Great call man !
OUT of SHAK 50c . 80c -> $8 . What a beast, keeps going.
In NFLX 315 weeklies ( @ 33c ) on JB's hunch. Anything less than 10 bags and I will be disappointed . LOL
What news ? Distribution agreement ? That's hardly a material news. When they get customers buying that will be the news. Distribution agreement is like getting a girl's phone number. Does not mean she'll talk to you, let alone let you touch her.
OMVS
HLF is at ATH. Icahn has won this game long ago.
SHAK parabolic. my 50 calls are looking good from 80c
SHAK is squeezing hard. 57% short of 20 mil float. 130% float owned by inst and insiders. This can go much higher.
SODA killed me yesterday. Great report but stock dipped 10 % with no apparent reason
My 270 TSLA puts might just save my spread here.
TSLA is stuck , not moving much anywhere. May be conference call moves it one way or another.
Sold half of my Tesla 330 calls for 100% profit. Holding free calls. Got a few 270 puts. I hope it moves somewhere and hard. I prefer north of course.
I have 5 Apr 12.5 puts left. Made a load on them. They are still showing up in my account. value zero.
LOL. Any news on LFIN. I am holding April puts :)
TSLA puts are more pricier than calls. I guess there are more bears on this Q ER
Thank you, I will watch it
I am aware of the difference, but the market cap is calculated based on the OS, not the float. Still researching this one. Trying to see why market cap so big.
But that does not change the market cap.
SODA was a little up pre market, now down over 7% on a couple of tiny trades. Hmmmmm....
OTCMarket website has market cap at $26,078,483 and outstanding shares at
34,771,310.
Why do you guys think the OS is much lower? Did they retire shares ?
AAPL beats ER by a bit, revenue a little under estimates. 5% up after hours.
IPGP rocking today!
Why the sad face , JB ? 330s look good.
JB, which TSLA calls are you in ?
My fav IPGP beat on earnings. Moving up nicely this morning.
AMZN up huge !!!
I am not saying he was not aware of RS, I am saying he did not exactly understand what it means for common holders.
How about that game last night !!! We are back Mortimer !!!! Go Bs!!!
I am still holding half of my position in IRA. Will wait for RS and then I will watch the speed of dilution and the growth of revenues. If the revenues will start growing faster than OS I will get back in with whatever money I have after selling half of my position.
My guess is Steve is one of the note holders who needed to be saved.
He knew 100% , but I honestly believe he did not know the consequences till we started screaming at him. He is clueless about this stuff and I think Parson is misleading him into believing that nothing material is changing for shareholders .
Zaka, if an investor loses 50-75% of its investment it is a huge loss regardless of the investment strategy.
If you look at bitcoin, it went thru ups and downs over the last 7 years and those who held are rewarded. But bitcoin went thru some natural valuation processes. Never in its history it was restructured in such a manner that the old investors would get a fraction of a coin they are holding while the new ones would get a whole one. This is what's happening with OMVS.
The whole idea of investor versus a flipper is a logical fallacy.
If I am an investor from last summer with 2 mil shares at an average of .5 cents. I was hoping to hold for years, sell at dollars and retire. Now I am down 50k. So If I sell now I am a freaking flipper, but if I keep holding and potentially lose another 30-40k of my money then I am a real investor ?
Really ?
Steve definitely does not understand how RS works. He thinks that after RS price will be in dollars and if he sells more shares into the float ( like say 5-10 millions) the price will still be at the same level. He is wrong on it. It will only happen if at the same time he shows hundreds of sold robots and scots. If he starts throwing new shares without substantial proofs of the incoming revenues and increasing valuation the stock will slide back to before RS levels.
Do you actually think Big investors will buy 1M shares of a company with Market Cap of around 4-7 million for $4-5 dollars knowing that this company has an Authorized Shares amount of 400+ million? They will not. They are the ones who will make sure that when they buy a piece of pie , this pie does not get diluted uncontrollably or does not get reverse split again.
This RS put a big dent in Steve's reputation. Huge one. Make no mistake. This is almost like a black list.
Monte_cristo, are note holders shares get reverse split too ? Like from 150m they now get 1.5 mil ?
To get money from investors ?! Why not ? They did not decrease their Authorized amount 100 times from 450 million to 4.5 million. They left it the same as before.
May be they will not issue 130 million, may be they will issue 50 million or even 20 , I was just showing you the difference dilution before RS and after RS makes.
See my previous post. Dilution after reverse split essentially kills existing shareholders. And they will dilute , make no mistake, they will not keep OS at 1.3 million shares. It will get to at least 10-50 million very fast
Lollerskates, let me try it one more time.
Let's say I am holding 1.3 mil shares ( 1% of OS today ) . If company issues another 130 million shares I get diluted by 50%, right ? So my holdings are down to 0.5% of the company. So if market cap moves up to 20 million dollars then my position worth 0.5 % of that which is $100k .
Now lets look post RS situation. I own 13k shares which is still 1% of 1.3 million shares in OS. But then if the company dilutes and creates the same 130 million new shares ( OS becomes 143 M ) then my percentage goes down to 13k/143M = .009% . That's 100 times less than I used to own in terms of the parts of the company. So if market valuation is still 20 million $ my shares will be worth measly 1,818 $
So dilution is not a big deal unless our shares get reverse splitted before the dilution and AS shares are not reverse splitted.
Do you see it now ?
MC, but we are current since the last two quarterly filings were published.
This is not my forte, not sure how this conversion thing works.
Exactly , you still own your painting. You just can't sell it for a million dollars because the artist just painted 100 more exactly like yours. And now when artist is willing to sell a new painting on the auction everyone knows what happened to a guy who bought his previous one thinking it was unique, and no one will be bidding for a new one.
Shareholders not forced to give up shares but forced to give up the equity percentage. If I own 1% before RS I will own 1% after RS, but when new shares are issued into OS I will own fraction of that. May be .01 %
