They need to limit the number of votes per phone to say 4. Most homes watching idol might have up to 4 people watching. I have heard the computer dealers can spit out hundreds of votes per hour.
It give FOX a big head when they can report how many million votes we tallied! Sad to see Pia go home number 9. She was much better then that IMO

This pisses me off as much as when Chris Daughtry got voted off! This sucks!!!!
Tough night to score. They all did well IMO
Nice move today! Glad I got more!!

Camp Lejeune Marines To Libya
By WCTI Staff
ONSLOW COUNTY -- We've seen Camp Lejuene Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan and now they are joining the fight against Libya.
About 2,200 Marines from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, or 26th MEU will take part. Their mission is to help end the violence directed at the Libyan people.
"In Libya right now they are doing exactly what we need them to do. They are doing what they are told and right now that's protecting Libyan people against Qadhafi forces," said Captain Timothy Patrick, a Marine with the 26th MEU.
UPDATE: Conditions set forth by the U.N. Security Council towards resolving the unrest in Libya included the removal of Libyan Leader Muammar al-Qadhafi’s forces from Ajdubiyah. These latest strikes by the MEU aimed at preserving the sanctity of the city and the safety of the civilians within it. In an effort to safeguard the Libyan populace and infrastructure in and around the city of Ajdabiyah from further attacks by regime forces, 26th MEU, as part of Joint Task Force Odyssey Dawn, launched a second round of strikes by AV-8B Harrier jump jets.
“Our primary concern was ensuring the people inside Ajdubiyah were safe from Qadhafi’s artillery and tanks,” said Col. Mark J. Desens, commanding officer of 26th MEU. “Everything we are seeing following these strikes indicates that his forces are now less capable of threatening the town than before.”
Patrick says that marines from the 26th MEU are coming on the end of their deployment. They will be replaced with marines from the 22nd MEU.
A press release from the 26th MEU reads, in part:
"Protecting the innocent and conducting combined operations are what we are designed to do, our forces are doing both as part of the U.S commitment to protect Libyan citizens."

Go figure??? Make it illegal to drill here. No way!!! This would help us to be more self sufficient and create jobs!!! It would make more sense to send our tax payer money to Brazil so we can help their economy and create jobs for them.
Our president is an IDIOT!
He must have an early T time........
WOW! Amen brother!!!! Very well said my friend!!!!
I bet he can come up with a birth certificate!!!
Doesn't this just piss you off? We can't drill here but we pay Brazil to drill so we can send more money away from USA. Unemployment everywhere in American. Great work obama!
What a ass!!!!!!!
Obama to Brazil: we will buy your oil after giving you $2 billion to drill it
* March 22nd, 2011 3:27 pm ET
President Obama in a speech down in Brazil on March 19th told local businessmen in the nation state that the US is looking forward to being their best customer in buying oil from their offshore drilling. This policy to purchase more foreign oil comes after we invested over $2 Billion with Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery in Brazil's Tupi oil field in the Santos Basin near Rio de Janeiro.
“We want to help you with the technology and support to develop these oil reserves safely. And when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers. At a time when we’ve been reminded how easily instability in other parts of the world can affect the price of oil, the United States could not be happier with the potential for a new, stable source of energy.” - White House Press Briefing, March 19th
In this new policy, President Obama is promoting an offshore drilling partnership with Brazil, while at the same time placing moratoriums against US companies drilling in our own waters. This means jobs will be created in Brazil, and many American workers in the oil industry will move into the ranks of the unemployed.
Secondly, the US in 2007 alone imported over 3.66 billion barrels of oil, which at todays price of $103.74 per barrel, means a cost of nearly $380 Billion dollars exported out of the economy to foreign countries. With our trade deficit running over half a trillion dollars each year, this will only add to the cost of goods bought by US consumers in the future.
In 2009 when President Obama loaned $2 Billion dollars to the Brazilian nation oil company, there was alot of outrage by the American people over our spending taxpayer funds to develop infrastructure and production in a foreign country, while at the same time not addressing our own energy needs. With Obama's trip to Brazil, and the speech given over the weekend, we now know the full extent of why the money was lent to Brazil, and in essense, why we gave them cash so in the end we could buy their goods.
With the President's speech in Brazil, and the revealing of a new energy policy that contricts his moratorium on the dangers of offshore drilling, the American people and our economy will in the future become much more dependent on foreign oil, and lose out on jobs and economic production through the drilling and sale of our own resources.
President Obama gave Brazil $2 Billion dollars to develop their own oil, and in the end, the return on our countries investment will simply be the right to spend more money by purchasing oil from the Brazilian government.

Impeach Obama now
By: Bin Quick Monday March 21, 2011 7:15 pm
Law
Article Two, Section One of the U.S. Constitution:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States”
Article One, Section Eight of the Constitution:
“Congress shall have power to … declare War”
Article Two, Section Four of the United States Constitution:
“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High crimes and Misdemeanors”
Evidence
Barack Obama sent US military personnel into combat without prior authorization from Congress or an imminent attack on the United States.
Politics
Regardless of the US Constitution, Impeachment is a political act. Since the facts are absolutely clear, this case will depend of the definition of “High crimes and Misdemeanors” ergo politics. High crimes and Misdemeanors are whatever Congress impeaches a official for violating. The Impeaching party must evaluate the political consequences, congressional schedule, and likely chances of conviction. Barack Obama’s political support among Democrats is a kilometer wide and a nanometer deep. Democrats are disgusted by Obama continuing George Bush wars, wire-tapping, and illegal acts. Politically, it won’t take much to separate Obama and Senate Democrats. The odds are against conviction but the Senate may want to make a statement and/or reassert it’s Constitutional Rights. And Joe Biden would make a terrific President, at least a better President then Barack Obama, Mediator of the Free World. Politically, there is little downside for Speaker Boehner and enormous upside.
Conclusion
Impeach Obama now!

I have an answer for my question:
Can a recall election be used to remove a US President from office?
Once elected and after Congress has certified the Electoral votes, a President of The United States may only be removed from office by impeachment by the House followed by conviction by the Senate, or by the more prudent means of resignation ( a la Richard Nixon).
Johnson and Clinton were impeached, but no President has ever been convicted and removed from office.

French Planes Fly Over Libya as Qaddafi Defies Cease-Fire Calls
March 19 (Bloomberg) -- French military jets flew over Libya, ready to enforce an air-exclusion zone to halt Muammar Qaddafi’s attacks on rebels, as Western leaders met in Paris to consider their next steps.
The planes were in the air not far from Libya this afternoon and were ready to carry out air strikes if there are orders from President Nicolas Sarkozy, a military official with knowledge of the preparations said on condition of anonymity.
Qaddafi’s forces attacked the rebel stronghold of Benghazi today in defiance of international demands for a cease-fire, television stations reported. Al Jazeera cited the head of the rebel council, Mustafa Abdel Jalil, as saying bombing raids took place in the eastern port city of 1 million people.
Strikes against Libya would mark the first military action by Western powers against an Arab government since the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Oil prices have risen 11 percent since the start of the year as the Middle East protests that toppled the leader of Tunisia and Egypt turned violent, sparking government crackdowns from Libya to Yemen.
The United Nations Security Council authorized the use of air attacks and a no-fly zone over Libya two days ago to protect civilians. The French newspaper Le Figaro, citing an unidentified official, reported that air strikes might start once the Paris summit hosted by Sarkozy is over, with French, U.K., Canadian and Norwegian planes set to carry out the first attacks.
Pro-Qaddafi forces entered parts of Benghazi, Al Arabiya TV reported. Forces advancing included tanks, it said, adding that 11 fighters loyal to Qaddafi were killed. A BBC correspondent reported seeing government tanks on a bridge. TV channels showed footage of a fighter jet being shot down.
