Well, Putin seems to enjoy all the attention he's getting.
Oh my! - neighbors lucky they didn't blow up the place.
This is what happens when lying about who "really" won the 2020 election is not enough.
A drug den?
Gotta watch those guys from MA
LOL!
Four helpful maps to understand the Ukraine/Russian conflict...
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/01/21/ukraine-russia-explain-maps/
I am listening to former Sec'ty of State Panetta now (CNBC) and he sounds like a Russian invasion of Ukraine is inevitable.
Pres Biden has gone/is going to Camp David...If Russia does invade Ukraine, oil and banking will be cut off to Russia...3,000 more U.S. soldiers have deployed to Poland.
She's an embarrassment to Virginia!
You have lots of friends on Ihub - many Boards posted your harrowing experience, and everybody sends best wishes for your recovery.
Rep Jason Crow (D-CO-6) just repeated Pres Biden's advice to the citizens of Ukraine - LEAVE NOW!
It sure sounds like Russia/Putin will invade Ukraine.
The question will be...Does the Justice Dept have the will to go after a former president?
Wow, you've been through a lot - glad you are on the mend.
The problem as I see it is the country has dramatically changed since the days of Watergate and is now seriously divided...One side will never accept the findings of the Jan 6 Committee regardless of how air-tight they are, some even refuse to call Jan 6 an insurrection - the other side has been following the tragic events of Jan. 6 for more than a year and are anxious to learn the background of what lead up to the insurrection witnessed on TV.
Waiting until April or May to hold public hearings may be too late as voters will want to move on and make plans for their summer vacations. I hope I'm wrong.
Agree.
Rep Liz Cheney is well-spoken.
Reports indicate the Jan 6 Committee has interviewed +/- 500 people...any word when the Committee will begin public hearings so the general public can learn what the Committee knows and doesn't have to rely on bits 'n pieces from the media?
I get it the Committee has to be thorough, but the longer this drags on the greater the chance the public becomes apathetic - if it's not there already.
While many laughed at TFG as he degraded our gov't and the media he had a goal in mind - today approx 40% of voters do not believe anything our gov't says and anything the legitimate media reports...TFG'S mission is almost complete!!!
Just because the House never elected a speaker who is not a member of Congress doesn't mean they never will - who thought there would ever be an insurrection/raid on the Capitol building trying to prevent confirmation of electoral votes?
Thanks.
Bingo!
NC Elections Board has the power, but will they?
Excellent!
79? - Mitch is a kid to Dianne Feinstein - she's 88 y/o.
Georgia's Senator Jon Ossoff introduced a law that prevents lawmakers from buying/selling stocks - that may encourage "aging" Senators to retire.
Mitch has a lot to worry about - he may not be up for re-election until 2026, but he desperately wants to regain control of the Senate in 2024. The problem is House members are in closer contact with their voters than Senators and if they support TFG, chances are good with voter suppression (as Blackcat mentioned) and gerrymandering Districts, Repub candidates can win the House - also, history shows the pol party who won the WH loses seats in the following election.
IMO, House Repubs are more inclined to take TFG's side, while Repub Senators are speaking out - Minority Leader McConnell wants to win back the Senate and said today the Jan 6 insurrection was a "violent insurrection", while the RNC wants to play it down.
Well in 2016 TFG ran for president with NO platform, NO plans for what he'd do for the country - and he was elected.
When you gin up people's fear of the "other" you can get away with a lot.
So I heard...hopefully Repubs who attach themselves to TFG are punished in the midterms, but I won't count on it.
Thiel recently donated $10m to each of the Senate campaigns of Blake Masters (AZ) and JD Vance (OH).

This ignorant guy is exactly what the buffoon attracts to his cause - to overthrow the U.S. gov't.
Lucky, Ohio is unlucky - Peloton, the exercise equipment/clothing mfgr, announced they pulled the plug on building a new plant slated to manufacture high-priced exercise equipment. P will lay off at least 2,500 employees. Stock has gone from a high of 120.00/sh to 35.00/sh early today.
What a buffoon!
patriotunitednews- HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
High-priced guys from Wall Street come into politics believing they are anointed to do/say whatever they want - Youngkin waited 48 hours before he issued a half-hearted apology to the teenager.
What a disgusting family!

The Dems maintained control in the state Senate.
