"How do you support a consumer economy with stagnant incomes for the bottom 90%, rising basic expenses and crashing employment for males ages 25-54?
Answer: you don't. "
Interesting analysis
The ultimate dupe and most Americans have no idea they will be working for the Chinese for generations to come. More like a generational dupe lol
"One factor that could embolden the Chinese leadership on the timing of a higher bullion reserves announcement reflects gold’s firmness against other currencies that Beijing also holds, along with the dollar, in its foreign-exchange assets, especially the euro — for China, a significant benchmark. As a result of the dollar’s general international strength, gold has risen 28% in euro terms since the end of 2013, strengthening the logic behind China’s behind-the-scenes gold diversification."
Yup
Sniffing glue with Nancy Pelosi
My bad had to look that one up "pumice stone"
Pumus stone
Yep somehow they need to rebalance their trade to reflect the change and advancements in the Asian populous. Not an easy task
Fast and loose fiscal policy catching up or a brief consolidation period on the SSE Index?
US OUTLOOK/OPINION: Wells Fargo Inv Institute says inflation expectations are up and this helps the case for Fed liftoff in September. "Higher short-term rates and a flatter interest-rate curve are likely as the Fed slowly increases" FF rates.

Agreed and imo govt economists and statisticians are being used up to track the debt. It seems the proverbial "Debt Clock" has some errors ;)
They should have retained that healthcare.gov group to spruce it up

A Global Debt Deleveraging Is At Our Doorstep
"Any entity or investor who is using aggressive leverage in US Dollars will be at risk of imploding. Globally that $9 trillion in US Dollar carry trades is equal in size to the economies of Germany and Japan combined."
I'd like to take a guess is it a giant stinky turd? Never mind that TA is statistically right 53% of the time giving those technical traders that are smart enough to glance at the fundamentals a rather sharp edge
I probably don't need to point out the fundamentals are strong with BAA
Seemed like it was about time arm up another enemy of the United States. The Dunce at 1600 must have a plethora of opportunities and I imagine its a lot like "pin the tail on the donkey" in that its a totally ransom exercise
Didn't watch it yet but I say the US govt should retroactively incorporate Sarbanes Oxley into the Fed Governors contracts and let the chips fall where they may.
Fiduciary Responsibility
Thanks plug
Would make sense as these mining companies have the ability to hold their reserves in gold vs fiat. That makes them valuable to those entities that are looking to increase their bullion reserves
The RMB will be added to the IMF's SDR index by year end imo. There are rumors that a basket of "commodities" will be added to the index to support the currencies and both gold and silver are at the top of the list.
I realize this is all speculative but so are today's financial markets so I try to keep it simple since I'm never the smartest guy in the room:
West...Overbought
East...Oversold
Then there is the mining sector that is currently beyond anorexic with screaming deals like BAA.

Thanks
Amen brother!!! I am new to this board and wanted to say hello to the folks here. I began thumbing through the bible over the last few years because I found the book to be an amazing historical reference for financial purposes. However something else has materialized and that's the message I missed as a child sitting in church with my family.
I'm very much a novice when it comes to the teachings of the bible but I try to embrace the life lessons do what's right by those around me. It's sometimes not easy but I find it makes life a lot better and it brings happiness to those around me.
Btw I watched a cool mini series called Revelation Road. Its a Christian production like The Book of Exodus in which they took the cheese out and made a top notch post apocalyptic action thriller. Def worth watching if you have not already and about as good as Exodux imo.
Be well
In theory the DOW/Gold Ratio should hit parity and its the next "Masters of the Universe" that claim that's when they will be selling bullion and buying back dollar denominated assets. Until that point...assuming this being the case....then yes I agree with TM it's quite possible the Fed is going to hyper-inflate all assets only denominated in the USD specially the DOW.
Otherwise Americans dump the USD and pile into gold. Pretty sure that's not on the wealth redistribution agenda
Fortunately for Banro they invested in leprechaun archers to protect the mines from such terrible things. Since were speculating I'm going to go out on a limb and say they discovered the leprechauns at the same time they discovered the gold.
Where these mythical creatures learned to use a bow is beyond me but thank heaven for 7-11 they chose to guard our investment.

"against a low-wage company from another country, or compete against a company receiving government subsidies and grants, the American firm will be at a severe disadvantage."
They don't say? Really govt subsidies are difficult to compete against and disrupt the free market? Damn and all this time everyone was telling me how great govt handouts were.
Do you think the K St lobbyists are confused???
The foreclosures of the real estate market are like the Labor Participation Rate of the labor market:
Neither get the attention that's warranted by the financial media and both are the Achilles heel of the fed imo
Yup just before Christmas it's a fantastic read
~102 years vs 5000 years of monetary history. It is history that tells the real story not the creation of the Federal Reserve
Feel better dude!!!
PPS has run .10 in a week and imo this is just getting started. Should I leave too?
.35 bisect's the last leg up and .32 is the next support
In many cases yes but folks do appear to be waking up. The problem is imo we are well passed the point of fixing anything per say and there's not enough time to convince everyone what they see and live will change. I saw something on the news about 1 term Senators and thought that sounded reasonable.
There was an argument also I read about dissolving the Fed and turning monetary control over to the Treasury. It was interesting although the author seemed to think that would be like handing over the golden keys to the Metropolis freak show or something.
Interesting times
Good to know Blue. Market Makers are shifty today
Yup looks that way
Engineer/Banker? This boy has got the goods and is a solid appointment imo. Nice job
I don't think that bafoon even knows what the internet is much less the effort and skill it would take to pull this off. Today's internet giants are terrified of the 15 year old in his moms basement being one step away from putting them out of business.
But not big bad JK oh no they are going to stick the governments finest fools on the project just as soon as they are done with healthcare.gov.
The man is a moron
Yup
Thanks Curt
