Strong volume so early in the day... might be another mil plus day of trading.
I saw the fella posting about a stock that was over a dollar and I almost had a heart attack... then... I noticed it was the wrong board and the stock was still at .03 cents... lol
Really?
Seriously... for about 10gs, I've been able to amass close to 300k
Maybe they are holding off on the PR to keep the stock price low... it could be intentional... 8ks are all but required for us shareholders that have been watching this stock forever... they are trying to be above reproach and don't want to seem like they are pumping... which this company has done before... dave is a brilliant guy... I'm sure it was a decision to not release a PR rather than someone forgot or didn't have the 400 bucks to do it or whatever...
Seriously... you could have just said we dissagree and summed all that up in like 5 bulleted points for everyone...
If we go to trial, we have a really good shot at winning a large settlement and licensing contracts moving forward. Few of the other players in the FMC market would openly infringe knowing that t-mobile didn't win.
What about our patent rights in other countries - anyone have a status update on that or have seen anything outside of the 8k info we have.
Well folks... lets home for some good PR soon surrounding the t-mobile trial. Now that the patent issues are resolved, does anyone know what the status of the T-mobile request to have the lawsuit dismissed... obviously the reasons they quoted in their response to the court are no longer issues...
The way I see it, there is little to get in the way of this going to trial at least.
The court the trial is in is in our favor, the fact that we are requesting a jury is good... seems like we have a good chance at getting a judgement...
Has a trial date been set yet that anyone knows of?
A press release would be a timely thing right about now to fuel some forward momentum and encourage investment... lets see something hit the wire...
Already over a million and a half shares traded today... in the grand scheme it isn't a lot, but there is a strong likelyhood that folks will continue to buy through the week as news gets out that the patent issues have been resolved.
It is looking very likely that this stock may crest over the 1 million shares traded mark today... perhaps higher... some upward pressure and increased demand will be good for the share price for sure...
Yeah I think wishing this stock goes over 1 or 2 dollars by the end of the week is... just that... wishful thinking...
This is good news, but lets be honest... we still don't have any money... the outlook looks good that we will receive a favorable judgement against T-mobile, however you can bet they will fight tooth and nail... if the court is able to stop them from marketing or selling their t-mobil @ home service, perhaps it will go a lot faster...
I think if we receive a sizeable settlement or a favorable judgement and damages, then this stock will be worth a few dollars a share... and everyone else in the industry will scramble to license...
Time will tell friends... time will tell
I will say that I am happy with the current BOD... with the ownership headaches resolved for the time being and the 2009 agreement off the table, perhaps a shareholders meeting is in the future?
I picked up a crap load of shares... this is great news... at just over 2 cents... this is the best time to buy in the last couple of years...
Hello Fellas... some bloody good news for a change... I found some cash in the sofa... loading up on shares tomorrow at the opening bell
I don't know about you guys, but I want to see this stock reach its pre BS days of $4 and $5 a share!
This soup is getting thick... more waiting... this whole debacle is almost laughable... seriously... like a season finale, I can't wait to see someone behind bars...
Lets chill out folks... I know we don't have a moderator and all, but lets keep the personal attacks to a minimum.
The plot thickens... Is the Jan 27th court hearing public? I don't know about you, but I sure would like to have a shareholder tailgater party in the parking lot and roll in the court room with some popcorn to see all this unfold with my own two eyes. Justice continues to evade us longs... but not for long so it seems...
Talk about last minute... and yet again, the Calypso roller coaster turns another bend in the track... a perrilous journey of heartbreak and romance... intrigue and terror...
lol
Well it is good news for a change that stuff is happening... glad that we have some forward momentum for a change.
Welcome back final... haven't heard from you in awhile.
Yeah I've been watching this thing for about 4 years now... bought in high and have been losing my shorts ever since... the thought of another company purchasing these patents and then taking a product to market and being successfull with suing T-mobile and all of the other infringers out there makes me stomach gringe... thanks for that... lol...
Sigh... well lets hope for the best
Well folks... another week to go before the auction. Any news from the legal team or management?
Hello folks... Well we have about a month before the auction of the full patent rights for our company. Been following this thing for almost 5 years... it really is a sad story that deserves to be turned into a movie for all the plot twists and gotchas, all the drama and broken fingers...
Even still I have faith that the current BOD is the best it has ever been. I wish there were more communication - sure, but we've had more honest communication from management in the last few months than we've had in years so it isn't so bad. Even still my stock has lost 92% of its value anyhow so at this point I am just riding it out.
I also clarified that even though the notice was not posted on the Internet until the 2nd, it was made available to Calypso Wireless on the 25th of November as stated in the notice. It was only after then that it was placed on the Internet.
It is worth noting that there was a higher than average move in shares on the day prior and the day of the release of this notice.
11/25/2009 0.03 0.02 0.03 0.0211 275,000
11/24/2009 0.03 0.02 0.03 0.02 250,500
Furthermore, this could mean that the flurry of recent legal action is in response to having received this notice. Thoughts?
I called and spoke to the folks selling the patent and to the fella who drafted the document on http://www.calypsopatentsale.com/ and was informed that the Patent Sale has been shifted to January 15th. When I raised questions about the validity of the sale and wheteher or not Draco had a right to sell the patent, I was referred to Paul Storm - the laywer representing Calypso in this matter.
Something really sticky is goin on here.
Also, how can the notice be back dated 11-25-2009 but the website was only registered and set up on December 2nd? The HTML tags show the document was created on the same date. Thoughts folks?
This auction is next friday... how can Draco sell a patent that is not his to sell? Even if there was a shred of evidence suggesting it was, how is it that he can sell something that is currently being disputed in court. I'm no lawyer, but this seems incredibly balsy for a guy that is barely holding on by a thread as it is.
Are you serious? He's trying to sell the patent out from under himself before it gets nasty... what a crook... the SEC should get involved real quick on this one.
Judge Judy in family court... lol... that's rich... thank you for your research Final... nice to see some forward momentum on this stock...
yeah I own some stock still too... not sure what to do with it... part of me wants to drop it like a hot rock and pick up something else with the leftovers... part of me wants to go down with the ship in hopes that something comes of it... either way I've lost over 95% of my investment... at this point I guess it really doesn't matter...
I have nothing. Just sitting on my hands like the rest of you.
Well my friends... I'm already in 15k... don't have anything else to pony up at this point... but sticking it out... at this point, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to pull out... what with a 95% loss and all... I just don't understand why these fools would want to stop the lawsuit with t-mobile... it only would have benefitted them... even in all their theivery... greed has a heavy price I guess... for everyone...
Ridin' it out...
No news... sigh...
Just because we haven't heard anything on this board and there has not been official press releases doesn't mean that we should assume things. Agreed that the company is not doing an effective job of communicating to its shareholders, however we only hurt ourselves by throwing stuff out there with no evidence - either positive or negative conjecture. I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't discuss possibilities - just frame statements as such so that new folks on this board know how to digest the remarks that are made.
Really... 2011... sigh... We'll I suppose I am not surprised that t-mobile is dragging this out as long as possible...
Anyone have any updates on the t-mobile suit? What happened with the momentum - where are we now?
Any takers for the moderator position or is the general concensus that we don't need one?
Ya know... I've been gone for like a week... and when I came back I read through all of the pages of posts on this forum...
Plantiff has had some insightful ideas over the years and has done a pretty good job with keeping things on the forum up to date. Since he's been the moderator, my posts haven't been deleted - which I appreciate. I don't always agree with his opinions, however he's been pretty good about keeping things open for debate.
I think this whole thing has escalated pretty agressively and some folks got their feelings hurt.
We've only had new folks on the BOD for like a week - real life people with other responsibilities, jobs, families. But concerned investors with real life business experience to bring to the table. I don't know these people from the next guy, however it is encouraging to see a change of gaurd. Admittingly, I am a bit numb with this stock anyhow and have written the whole thing off. But if these new folks can create some forward momentum and properly manage the ownership of the patent and the litigation with T-mobile, I will be content.
Plantiff, I don't think you should resign... but maybe you should take a few weeks off or only check ihub once every few days... You, like many of us have probably convinced your friends and families to buy into this investment opportunity and are now feeling like you have to do something because it would seem that no one else is. That is honorable... but if your powerpoint and your ideas really are valuable to all shareholders - why don't you surrender them to the current BOD and see where it goes - after all, they may be helpful.
Anyhow... that's all I have to say for now...
Some news - seems good, we'll see...
Quite a healthy volume considering... get um while they are cheap folks!!
Well it is about time that this ship gets turned around. I've been circumnavigating the world on this piece for four years.
Thank you for posting the link. Glad to have Turrini at the helm and some shareholders on the board with experience in the right areas.
