I will post the Kickstarter video as soon as I see it.

Yes... more like "only Wayne can give you the answer to this question" and he has not got back to me yet. I didn't think it was a big deal. A simple yes, no or "cant answer per SEC would suffice.
Hopefully it's a good storm and its holding "Katrina" size rainfall.
IMO
I believe it will, but I can not be 100% sure. It would make sense though that if the employees sell, it adds to the share count. However, I did send Iconosys an email with your question just in case. It does not seem like a question they cannot answer.
IMO
That's what I was told, but nothing is for sure when the govt is involved. They could keep the symbol the same, for me it still represents "Monster" but make the name change for sure.
I have not yet seen the Name and Symbol change officially. It should be posted here: Were overdue.

The dealership will host the renowned Text Kills® Bus, which features over one hundred thousand signatures of people pledging not to engage in texting while driving (TWD), July 9-13 at their San Juan Capistrano location.
Capistrano VW’s decision to include the donation-funded group in its grand reopening underscores the dealership’s forward-thinking, unique business philosophy, which includes a commitment to aligning themselves with important community causes. Capistrano VW sees the collaboration as a unique opportunity to further this commitment and raise awareness about issues that are impacting the country’s roadways.

Monster Arts Partners with Opera Mobile Store, Adding Distribution for Monster Offers App and Suite of Casual Games
Public Company Joins Electronic Arts, ESPN, Spotify, and Other Notable Developers on the Increasingly Popular Global App Platform
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. - Monster Arts (MONT), formerly Monster Offers, a leading mobile marketing and app technology innovator focused on mobile advertising consulting, Daily Deal aggregation, and more, announced today that it has partnered with Opera Mobile Store, an application store that features more than 100,000 apps that are downloaded by over 60,000,000 monthly visitors.
Monster Arts sees a great potential in the mobile store, whose user traffic has doubled since last year. 5,336 new developers have joined the Opera Mobile Store and published 11,546 new apps during the last month alone, and many developers have quickly reached the million download mark after publishing apps on the platform. Monster Arts Licenses Zombie Slasher® Moscow Mobile Game to Studio W, with Release to Coincide with Hollywood Premier of Blockbuster Movie World War Z
Zombie Slasher® Moscow, modeled after locations appearing in the movie World War Z, allows app users and casual gamers to continue to indulge their “zombie-mania”on their Smartphones or other smart devices.
SAN CLEMENTE – Today, Monster Arts, Inc. (formerly Monster Offers™) (MONT), announces the completion of a licensing deal for its newest mobile game, Zombie Slasher® Moscow. The transaction was inked with WOWIO, doing business as Studio W, an established global leader in digital media creation and content distribution. Industry analysts are reporting that casual gaming is expected to become an $8.64 billion industry by 2014. Studio W has agreed to license Zombie Slasher® Moscow in a move to secure its first casual gaming property, and which commences a new line of digital product offerings to their existing customers.
Zombie Slasher® Moscow is a new mobile game in which the user fights hordes of incoming zombies, set against the backdrop of the city of Moscow and recreates one of the most explosive and eye-catching scenes from the newly released summer blockbuster movie World War Z, starring Brad Pitt. In the game, players must protect innocent citizens and bystanders from hungry, brain-eating zombies that run rampant in the streets of Moscow.
Seemingly without exception, leading product offerings in the “zombie gaming” category make use of a "freemium" pricing model (see for example, Zombie Frontier, GunZombie, and SAS3) to spur player downloads and to monetize further revenue streams through in-app purchases. The most successful game play models in this category also integrate light RPG and character customization aspects, and twin-stick analogue-shooters themselves appear to reflect a growing gaming category -- holding much greater promise than games using the static shooter model. Monster Arts and Studio W have taken all of these market trends into consideration in the development and distribution of their Zombie Slasher® Moscow.
Indeed, the release of this games adds to the virtual “zombie mania” now invading our society, as already reflected by the startling array of zombie movies, television shows, books, video games and apps, live action games, and even diagnosed illnesses or conditions. These “frightening” circumstances point to continued attractive growth prospects for this video game market in both North America and abroad.
Commented Studio W CEO Brian Altounian, “There is a huge demand for zombie games right now, and our timing could not be better to piggyback off of Brad Pitt’s new movie World War Z, especially considering the huge cost -- $190 million -- to make that movie, including a huge advertising budget!” Altounian went on to observe, “Smartphone users are often looking for a quick, enjoyable distraction, and shooting games like this lend themselves really well to being a fast, easy and satisfying entertainment avenue for these consumers. Here at Studio W, we are poised to become increasingly involved within the casual gaming space.”
Availability:
Zombie Slasher® Moscow, available for free for the next 30 days, can be downloaded on Google Play and is pending market approval on iTunes, Barnes & Noble’s Online Marketplace for the Nook Color & Nook HD, and at Amazon.com’s AppStore for the Amazon Kindle. Zombie Slasher® games and products are also available from www.zombieslasher.com.
In addition, Monster Arts has been designing and developing two additional incarnations of the Zombie Slasher® brand, with the upcoming games, “Zombie Slasher® Cheerleaders,” and “Zombie Slasher® Football”, both now in their final stages of development and slated for release during this year’s “Humans vs. Zombies” week, celebrated October 21st- October 27th of this year at numerous college campuses (during the week immediately preceding the week of Halloween). For more on Humans vs. Zombies, visit www.HumansVsZombies.org.

Another CEO update from the desk of Wayne Irving.
Monster Arts--Focus on the Rest of the Wallet.
Good Afternoon!
Did you realize that Mobile Payments, or paying for your purchases with your Smartphone is here to stay?
This weekend I did some research and am very excited about the future prospects of "Wallet Technologies" and am certain there are perspectives of this exciting paradigm shift in mobile payments (a $600 Billion Dollar Industry, was $300 Billion in 2011).
Mobile Payments is a $600 Billion Dollar 'Play Place':
Mobile Payments, 'Paying with your Smartphone', is the Way it is Going to Be It seems undeniable that apps are changing the entire way we do business, and one powerful manifestation of this idea is the emerging relevance of mobile payment systems, commonly referred to as "mobile wallets." Just as credit and debit cards replaced the paper check, apps and the mobile wallet payment systems that they empower are quickly becoming the new means of conducting business and processing payments. Millennials - young people age 30 and under -- have a seemingly insatiable appetite for all things apps, and this has led to the increasing popularity of in-app purchasing and mobile wallets. As a result, the mobile wallet concept itself is widely believed by many - including a number of analysts and industry insiders -- to be the next game changing iteration and/or technology component of Smart device-compatible mobile payment systems.
Read the whole piece: http://waynesgridiron.blogspot.com/2013/06/mobile-payments-paying-with-your.html
Monster Arts' focus on the rest of the wallet:
Just like the late Paul Harvey used to say "the rest of the story", MONT feels that we have a sweet spot in the "rest of the wallet". Now that we know that mobile payments are the way of the future, where does Monster Arts and its Monster Offers apps fit in you ask?
Well, we are excited about the ancillary functions of the "Mobile Wallet", think about what else you carry in your wallet or purse that is also going "mobile". Your Insurance Cards? Rewards Cards? Roadside Assistance Cards? Social Security Cards? Identification, family photos, medical records? and what else? (any of this starting to sound familiar? )
We feel that there is a significant void here and would love your feedback and input. If you been around very long, you know we have lots of expertise and technology at the ready to enter this void.
Of course coupons and daily deals should come with the "Mobile Wallet", right?
Have a Great Week!

Good Afternoon Shareholders! I am very happy to report that, in addition to the recent addition to our management team of new CFO Brandon H. Graham, who brings with him an impressive set of credentials including stints with Disney and with the major accounting firm, KPMG, as of today, we now have the endorsement and support of a true micro-cap, iconic industry veteran, with more than a decade of experience and tons of valuable contacts, along with the involvement of his team of banking associates and financial advisors. About Matthew L. Schissler (Founder and Managing Partner):
Previously (from 2003 through to the middle of 2012), Mr. Schissler was the founder and served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Cord Blood America, Inc., a company specializing in the harvesting and storage of stem cells in the US and abroad. In this capacity, he was responsible for a series of public and private offerings that raised over $30 million in equity and debt, and under his stewardship the company grew from a two-person operation in 2003 to a multinational corporation that had built or acquired laboratories on, and had related business operations in, four continents. In particular, the capital raised by Mr. Schissler was used to complete seven corporate acquisitions (including both stock and assets), and also to place three strategic, minority investments by the company into other stem cell storage companies having a global presence.
We are having a great week, hope you are too!

Monster Arts Forms Advisory Board With Focus on User Accessibility: Technology Accessibility Advisory Board (TAAB)
Jun 19, 2013 (ACCESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Company seeks to promote and facilitate increased utility, mobility, convenience, and connectivity for Smartphone and tablet users with disabilities
San Clemente, Calif. - Monster Arts, (otcbq:MONT), formerly Monster Offers™, a leading mobile marketing and app technology innovator, announces today the formation of its Technology Accessibility Advisory Board (TAAB). The TAAB is to be comprised of industry experts from a variety of relevant fields, including wireless communications, e-commerce, and health care and intends to provide Monster Arts management and its board of directors with assistance in evaluating the company's existing technologies and in developing new technologies and related products and services, in each instance with an ultimate goal of improving "accessibility" by enhancing the utility, mobility, convenience and/or connectivity of such products or services.
In establishing this group, Monster Arts furthers its commitment to safety, family, and utility-oriented technologies, particularly as those technologies relate to apps for mobile communication devices, including Smartphones and other smart devices. As part of this initiative, the company also recognizes the potential opportunity for adapting its existing intellectual properties either to new uses or to a wider range of users or consumers. As a result, the TAAB will assist the company in its ongoing review of both its own catalogue and its clients' catalog(s) of smart device apps, with a focus on identifying new lifestyle enhancing apps and/or enhancing the accessibility of existing apps for individuals with disabilities, such as those suffering from vision or hearing impairments, amputees, individuals diagnosed with autism, and other impairments that make ordinary Smartphone/tablet usage so much more complicated. Immediately, the TAAB's special attention will be to hands-free technologies such as facial recognition, motion control and thought control technologies.
With this announcement and in this effort, Monster Arts (MONT) now joins market leading companies like IBM and Apple, who similarly recognized the importance of dedicating corporate resources in the form of industry experts, or otherwise, to the design and commercialization of new or more user-friendly, accessible technologies. By way of example, in 2009, the government of India awarded IBM with the National Award for Technology that Assists People with Disabilities. Similarly, many of Apple's now ubiquitous technologies were originally developed to help the disabled use computers. The company also believes that this initiative is consistent with the spirit and intention of Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), which prohibits various types of discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities.
Commented Wayne Irving II, Monster Arts' CEO, "We believe that there remains a great deal of potential work to be done in a wide range of mobile app communications-related areas. These efforts need to focus on the design, development and commercialization of new products and services that leverage off of our existing and emerging technologies so as to help app users or consumers with their specific needs, such as in the case of users who are seniors or disabled, and others who are in need of these new or enhanced products in performing important daily tasks and functions. I see this 'personalization' of the smart device app as the next big trend in app design and development, and in my mind, it's the right thing to do, particularly given our own government's stated position, as set forth in the ADA, regarding the need to level the playing field for those suffering from disabilities."
The Technology Accessibility Advisory Board, will collaborate with a number of other like-minded groups and individuals -- including the Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center, an organization committed to assisting and putting an end to discrimination against those with vision and hearing impairments -- in developing technology driven solutions that are specifically designed for those with sensory issues or a wide range of other disabilities,. The size of the potential customer market for the disabled mobile app user is large and growing; a 2010 report by the US Census Bureau reported that the number of people with disabilities had risen to 56.7 million, or approximately 18.7 percent of the civilian non-institutionalized population.
The mission of the TAAB is to create method-driven Smartdevice app-related technologies that are responsive to, and directly address, particular market demands or needs, and, in a more general sense, serve as a force or influence that improves our overall, collective quality of life. The TAAB will be comprised of a five to seven person advisory board, each with industry related experience, and is actively seeking groups and individuals interested in participating in this group.
Prospective advisory board members should please contact Mikey Olson, representative for the company, at 949-335-5354 for additional information.

Iconosys® Receives Trademark Protection for: Word Bully®, the Cyberbully/Text-Bully Prevention App as Featured in Boston Globe, FOX, NBC, and International Media
Iconosys adds the Word Bully® trademark to its coveted catalog of registered trademarks, joining Zombie Slasher®, Trick or Tracker®, Text Kills®, and Drive Reply®
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. - Today, Iconosys, Inc., a leading developer of over 1000 family safety, lifestyle, and entertainment Smartphone apps (including the ever popular Trick or Tracker® and Drive Reply® apps), is pleased to announce the formal registration of its trademark, Word Bully®, with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This registration adds to the company’s growing portfolio of intellectual property, further protecting Iconosys’ well established brands, technologies, as well as the company’s related apps, websites, merchandise, and licensing agreements. Simultaneously, Iconosys also received registered trademark status for Iconosys®.
Defined as the use of the Internet and related technologies to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner, the practice of “cyberbullying” has become more common in society, particularly among young people, legislation and awareness campaigns have arisen to combat it. See Wikipedia, “Cyberbullying.” And as a result of the extensive, if not pervasive, use of texting among teenagers using Smartphones and other mobile communication devices, a new type of cyberbullying has emerged, known as text-bullying. In fact, a recent study conducted by Marion Underwood, a psychology professor at the University of Texas at Dallas, showed that 7% of texts between teens contain profane language. The same study also revealed that teens tend to show little or no concern as to whether others can or will read their text messages, which leads to their incorrect (and dangerous) assumptions that there are no consequences for inappropriate texting behavior. With this in mind, Iconosys and its Word Bully® technology combats this problem by shifting the power to control the content and tone of a these text messages to parents, guardians and/or local authorities (e.g. police, school officials), each of whom want to protect children and teen texters from profane, inappropriate, life-threatening, terrorist, and bullying language.
Word Bully® was recently named by Tech Reviews as one of the “best apps for tackling bullying,” and Iconosys views its securing this trademark protection from the USTPO as a key strategic step forward in its program to safeguard and protect its significant intellectual property. Indeed, with a recent study showing that as many as 25% of teenagers have experienced at least one instance of cyber-bullying (see Cyberbullying Resource Center at www.cyberbully.us) and with the public’s attention focused on tragic, and sometimes catastrophic, acts of violence at our schools, the importance of obtaining a trademark for such a product can hardly be overstated.
About Word Bully®
Word Bully® is a Smartphone app that allows parents to customize a filter for profanity, vulgar or threatening language, and other offensive communications received through mobile devices. When a text message triggers the Word Bully filter, a copy of the text is automatically sent to the monitoring parent (or authority), with the result that the app documents and archives the text-bullying communication with key technical information as it relates to the sender, the senders location, dates, times, and key threats.
Word Bully also features the ability to track the position of the user’s phone or mobile device, using the built in GPS; as a result, at any given time, a concerned parent or guardian, or for that matter, the police or other local authorities, can reliably, and in real time, retrieve the location of the child, teen or other victim of text-bullying. And this non-intrusive app runs in the background on the device and can be easily enabled and disabled using a parental-controlled password. The app is currently available for Android phones, with an iOS version in the works.
“Bullying has received much media attention recently and continues to be a national issue that needs to be addressed. Along with other types of cyberbullying, the problem of text-bullying has risen to almost epidemic proportions in our schools, where it seems like every student has a cell phone,” observed Ryan Foland, Iconosys COO and founder of Bully Buster USA™.”
Word Bully® is available for Android OS devices and can be downloaded for a limited time from http://www.Wordbully.net and http://www.Amazon.com/appstore for $2.99 for a lifetime license. The app regularly sells for $5.99.
Word Bully® and Iconosys® are registered trademarks of Iconosys, Inc.

Looking for it every day. If we "assume" that they filed it around the same time frame that they released the press, it should be around the 20th, give or take.
IMO
We see that all the time. It just means there is low volume for this stock at the moment, shares are tight (liquidity), and the MMs are the only ones making money.
E-trade has it at bid .01/ ask .55. The regular investor could never get any trading done with this big of a spread. It will go back to a reasonable amount in the morning.
IMO
Stock traders pay very close attention to the difference between the bid and ask prices. Some traders may try to place bets so they can make money in a few minutes or hours by trying to bet whether the difference between the bid and ask will get bigger or smaller. This difference is called the bid-ask spread.
But the bid-ask spread can also be worthwhile for long-term investors to monitor. With stocks that are widely traded, such as shares of large U.S. companies or popular exchange-traded funds, the difference between the bid and the ask prices should be extremely small.
If you start to see the bid and ask prices drift widely apart, you should take note. A large bid-ask spread perhaps indicates light trading in a stock, which may indicate the pool of investors interested in trading the stock is dangerously small. Light trading volumes can result in you paying too much for a stock or not getting a very good price when you sell.
So I just had a nice long talk with Iconosys and this is what I can tell.
1. Alot of excitement from people calling to congratulate Wayne on his award and to talk business, due to the fact that this award bring in publicity. They are very busy.
2. S1 was canceled due to the 55c shares. The shares are already passed their 6 month time frame to sell and it was unnecessary paperwork and fees to get those unrestricted, so they pulled the paperwork. Basically, it saved them money and time.
3. We talked about some apps and I threw out some ideas.
4. Work continues on the building at the new location.
5. Advertising continues (I gave my opinion on this)
6. Alot of BIG things happening (which were not revealed to me) and I believe investors will be pleased IMO.
No major details (insider info given) but "in my opinion"they are working really really hard to get the job done and attract attention. Stock price will follow as more value is realized.

I have not heard back yet and have no new updates. I may have to call.

I dont know. That was the first I heard of it.
I shot Suzanne an email. We will see what she says if she can.

Monster Arts Files for Patent ''Hand Wave or Hand Signal Over Front-Facing Smart Device Camera to Trigger Software Commands''
Company patent filing continues strategic, global move to build a robust intellectual property portfolio, adding to mobile software applications with expansion into mobile device sector
SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. - Monster Arts, Inc. (MONT), formerly Monster Offers, a leading mobile marketing and app technology innovator with a focus on mobile advertising consulting and a particular strength in "Daily Deals" as a lead source, announced today it has filed a patent application with the United States Patent & Trademark Office describing its unique technology for use of a smart device’s front-facing camera. The technology is expected to find immediate application in mobile device functionality and, going forward, markets in mobile software application development.
More specifically, the invention provides greater hands-free integration for smart device and tablet users. This technology is branded Camera Wave Action™. The patent application, titled “Hand Wave Over Front-Facing Smart Device Camera to Trigger Software Commands,” discloses Monster Arts’ proprietary system and technical process for design, coding, and functionality of using a smart device’s front-facing camera to control application software and basic functions of smart device operating systems.
According to company CEO Wayne Irving II, potential applications for this proposed patent and the technology might include controlling or inputting information to the smart device for folks that have mental or physical impairments. These could include, without limitation, seniors with physical impairments like rheumatoid arthritis, senility or dementia, partial amputees, Dupuytren sufferers, those suffering from deafness or impaired vision and others. Other applications could include those for children with learning disabilities like ADD, ADHD, Autism, persons suffering from mental retardation or users having hearing impairments where a sign language might be read by the patented process. In addition to the above applications, these methods of controls as covered by the applied-for patent could also be used to control popular utilities and apps already built in circulation, not to mention the potential use of the patent’s hands-free process to control video games.
The company believes that its development, establishment and commercialization of this and other smart device-oriented technology patents and related intellectual property and technology will leave it well positioned to capitalize on the continued growth of the mobile communications market, including Smartphone sales. As reported by market researcher Garner Inc., total Smartphone sales for 2011 surged to 472 million units and accounted for 31 percent of all mobile devices sales, up 58 percent from 2010. See “Apple’s iPhone No. 1 in Smartphone Sales,” Forbes.com, February 15, 2012. Although Gartner has subsequently reported that worldwide sales of mobile phones to end users reached almost 428 million units in the third quarter of 2012, a 3.1 percent decline from the third quarter of 2011, according to Gartner, Smartphone sales still accounted for 39.6 percent of total mobile phone sales, increasing 46.9 percent from the third quarter of 2011. See Gartner November 14, 2012 press release. Another market researcher, International Data Corporation, recently reported that it is expecting 2012 Smartphone sales to reach 686 million, and predicts that they will rise to 982 million in 2015. Further predictions by IMS Research expect Smartphones to reach 1 billion in annual sales in 2016 (half the mobile device market). Consumer demand for smart devices has been such that Morgan Stanley Research estimates sales of Smartphones will exceed those of PCs in 2012, leading to a competitive race for function and features.
Most smart devices (cellular telephones, tablet computers, laptop computers, flat-panel televisions, hand-held gaming machines) now contain a front-facing camera. As video communications through mobile devices have become more popular and practical, Monster Arts has identified a niche for a specific set of methods and information management that it believes could be the next wave in communicating or inputting pertinent data into a device ready to receive and process it. In fact, according to a recent iGR survey commissioned by Syniverse seventy-one percent of consumers say that Smartphones with forward facing cameras are the best devices for video communications,. With social media platforms that encourage picture and video sharing such as Vine, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., front-facing cameras on phones are increasingly becoming integrated into Smart device applications. One prime example of this can be seen with Twitter's popular six second video-sharing app Vine, as the company’s first major product update adding support for the iPhone's front-facing camera.
The new process of using the front-facing camera to detect motion and hand postures, comparing them to a preset database or user-defined database of images is a feature that can be utilized across many platforms, enhancing user experience on all devices where the viewer or device user has a camera embedded in the device and facing them. The filed patent application protects the Company’s new invention related to this process. The inventors of this application are Monster Arts’ CEO Wayne Irving II and Company consultant Ryan Foland.
“We believe our proprietary method-process may be the most easily integrated motion-operated system that can be used leveraging existing hardware within smart devices,” said Irving. “With this new patent filing, we not only protect our intellectual property rights, but also extending our company’s reach into the expansive application and casual gaming markets, which could be quite lucrative for the company. We intend to compete aggressively in these markets, which should continue to expand in line with the promising growth trends seen more generally in the still promising mobile communications and smart device industries. I would also add that we think M&A activity, including, for example, Hewlett Packard’s 2010 acquisition of the Palm patents, as well as the disposition of significant technology litigation, including Apple’s over $1 billion judgment and damage award against Samsung for patent infringement, bears witness to the very real market value-enhancing effect of having a critical mass or, should I say `war chest’, of patents and patent-related intellectual property. Our company is indeed excited to announce this patent filing.”
As traditionally defined, a patent is an amortizable, intangible asset that grants a business the sole right to manufacture and sell an invention. More specifically, it is a legal license granting its holder the exclusive right to make, use or sell a sell that specific invention. With the advent of the Smartphone and the powerful impact of innovations and enhancements to mobile technology, and with corporate revenues generally decreasing as a result of consumer and corporate belt-tightening, more and more companies are seeking to generate revenue from previously untapped areas or asset classes; one such revenue source experiencing such heightened interest is patent monetization, whereby a business licenses or sells its unused or under-utilized patent assets to generate a new revenue stream. One such example of patent monetization is the July 2011 sale by Nortel Networks, a now bankrupt Canadian telecommunications maker, of its 6,000 patent portfolio for $4.5 billion to a group of companies led by Apple. Indeed, one commentator notes that the high price paid for the Nortel portfolio set off a bull market in patents that related to Smartphone technology, and observes that by one estimate, as many as 250,000 patents may touch a modern Smartphone. Almost immediately after the Nortel transaction, Google made its countermove, agreeing to buy Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion, with about $5.5 billion of the purchase price allocated to Motorola’s patents. In addition, it should be noted that the larger value of a patent portfolio, can be as an important, powerful strategic tool to negotiate lower costs from a supplier or vendor, or to alter a competitor’s business plan in terms of what markets they are addressing or what products or services they are providing. See “With Smartphone Deals, Patents Become a New Asset Class,” by Steve Lohr, DealBook, Fall 2012 edition.

That is what I heard. It makes sense though. Usually when they change the name, they change the symbol.
I do not know what it is or if it will even come to fruition (wow I used a big word) but that is what I heard. It could be something they just threw out there and could never happen. Who knows. Things change so fast here. I like the symbol the way it is BTW.

10Q looks just like I thought it would. Not much revenue as all the merger bills come due. I did not see anything that really stood out.
