ss9173: YOUR HIRED! lol!! EOM
clare-the-bear: You hit the nail on the head w/ that one...
"I have not read the companies plans - nor have I seen their plans"
It's obvious now that most, if not all, of you previous questions asked here have been baseless.
My suggestion to you is, before you ask any more questions here, do some reading up on NeoMedia, their partnerships, their PR's, their SEC filings, and everything under the "Board Info" link above.
Asking questions w/o any previous DD on your part is an essential waste of time for those that answer you.
Please don't leave it up to others to do all the research for you regarding your investment opportunity here w/ NEOM. It becomes frustrating responding to repeated questions of which the answers are easy to find. Also, folks that ask questions w/ no basis of fact or knowledge behind them makes them come across as bashers, IMO.
Ditto for POW: movieguy's CSCO compare. EOM
coogoo0: BSDS/Triton, IMO. eom
That one jives. Thanx, JP. EOM
Any clear facts about the closing pps and that 100K trade?
Notice, "Last 10 Trades" times and pps.
http://host.businessweek.com/businessweek/Corporate_Snapshot.html?Symbol=neom
clare-the-bear: If you've been reading this board at all lately, you should've noticed that there have been others who've come across as "negative" on NEOM (not saying they are, just stating they appear to be by their posts) spouting the same exact "buy-out" theory.
You are not alone.
clare-the-bear: Did you closely read what I posted or just briefly skimmed it? I thought I made it clear that:
1) I do not know this to be a fact.
2) This is not a 2005 "event on Fox".
3) This WAS another "leap of hopefullness".
Sorry if you missed my beginning statement bracketed by commas there, "if all goes as anticipated"...meaning (I can't believe I need to explain this)...on second thought, I won't explain it.
Think hard, clare-the-bear, about everything you've read about NeoMedia and then you'll understand my "leap of hopefullness".
Today's closing pps: Does anybody have the accurate closing price? I'm seeing .517 and .53, depending on what I look at. It definitely did hit .53 so nice spike to end, or nearly end the day. No Doji though. No biggie.
Also, was that 100K trade a sale or purchase? Not that it matters much anyway, just curious.
Thanx,
lns
Cabernet, if all goes as anticipated, it'll be mentioned some Saturday morning (or many Saturday mornings ;) on Fox's "Cost of Freedom" block of programs or/and others.
Also, as mentioned, it is understood that when others package PC as their "own", it will still show, somewhere, "Powered by PaperClick".
Folks who notice this and that also invest in the stock market, IMO, would naturally be inclined then to find out, "Who owns this PaperClick? I'm noticing that it's now on almost everybody's (newer) cell phone that I've seen, and it seems pretty damn useful. Are they public? Can I jump on this bandwagon? Hmmm, I'll have to find out. Oh, look at that, NeoMedia owns PaperClick. Wow, they are public (on NASDAQ ;) and their symbol is NEOM. I think I'll seriously look into this and possibly purchase some shares."
As Warren Buffet said (or close to it...I'm paraphrasing), "Invest in what you use."
"Powered by PaperClick" :)
Yes, success, not only a doji, but a "triple doji?"...three days in a row, all in the right direction. Can we go for four in a row? :) I love seeing this, personally. The MM's are playing this perfect text book, IMO.
That MACD is almost at the zero mark (according to the ASK RESEARCH one month chart I use).
SWAG: Just like I witness often of a lowering pps while that MACD indicator moves north to zero signals a mighty jump once the MACD crosses zero, my SWAG analysis tells me that the pps inching up or staying level (pretty much what we're seeing) while the MACD tries to cross the zero line south (to "set itself up", so to speak), bodes just as well.
Somebody who actually has good experience reading the "tea leaves", please correct me if I'm wrong. Just going by observation. But, heck, isn't that all TA is...observing the action of stock charts over time and building hypothesis' based on past experience?
Kinda like psychology...oh yeah, that's what the market is...a well constructed psychology "experiment" that the professors have set up and yet already know the outcome. They ask for volunteers to test their theory every day and some are all too willing to submit.
ifitlooks: I haven't seen that article before, although old, it's a definite good read and one that's nicely explains to skeptics why they branched out, but not only that, but when they did it they weren't "grasping for straws" or any old life-jacket for that matter.
I just get more and more impressed each day w/ the smarts and savvy and experience on the NeoMedia BOD's.
...ps, oh, and w/ the DD, thoughts, dot connecting and SWAG's exhibited here. Thanx everyone!

Drmyke3: Get real. Do you want that to happen to your shares? EOM
Tradewinner: As mentioned, it appears there's nothing to worry about w/ OP3...

SBL/MSFT: That alliance could be HUGE and pull NeoMedia right along by association, er, necessity.
Time will tell...
SBL/MSFT/(neom? ;)
OT: alexandre, sad thing is, they've come in through the back door...

I know...politics, but this ain't one side or the other...this is just plain wrong. For the record, I don't trust the whole lot of them!
Feel free to delete, I'll understand.

Good combing, ss9173, Thanx! eom
IMO, this S4 release indicates that the three hold-outs stated on the last 10Q have been wiped to the floor.
Clear the runway!
Recent S4 pps effect: IMO, none. eom
GET 'ER DONE! EOM
BSDS S4: I guess this is what shareholders can expect in the mail? Quiet period still not over?
Quiet period over!? :) EOM
SWAGBADTA: That MACD is almost SOUTH across the zero line. It keeps creeping down. One to two more days and looks like we'll have crossed it,IMO, setting us up for a healthy cross NORTH back over it. :)
Statenlsd: Yup. Don't get me wrong, if for some reason the outcome of the Virgin lawsuit was something less than validation of the patents, NeoMedia could still continue doing what they're doing regarding.
But, if the patents are validated by this lawsuit and subsiquent wins/settlements against ScanBuy and AirClic, NeoMedia's patents would be recognized as THE "road" to link physical objects to the internet, or as it's referred to by many, they would own "the bridge". (a toll bridge at that!)
Statenlsd: "It's all about the patents." EOM
pvc: Virgin Megastore renovation article...
http://www.plainvanillashell.com/article.asp?ID=4571
From an article that I believe was posted last week, but always good to hear again...
"Instead of buying into the gloom around software patents, small firms should focus on developing a cohesive intellectual property strategy. For the true innovators among us, software patents could be the most important investment they ever make."

NEOM one year target = $29? Yes, I'm curious to as to how/why it's on the actual NASAQ site. Considering the number other comay one year targets I pullled up that appear pretty much on target w/ my actual thoughts, it's quite intreging.
If $29 is for real, I'm WAY off target for my 12/31 target of 7.00-7.50/share! :)
But, as we've seen in the past, it IS possible for a company stock to SOAR as soon as it hits the NASDAQ, ESPECIALLY if they have sound fundamentals.
Remember, it's all about the patents, here.
Somebody obviously has an inclination. I think this deserves a call to NASAQ themselves as to why this is really shown. I like it on the surface though. Makes my 7-7.50>12/31/05 "prediction" pale in comparison.

kokonutguy, I would consider NEOM "Adult Entertainment", simply because of the fact that investing (informed gambling) should be left up to the adults.
Agree w/ you on the stratellites, aztreedoc. Impressive they are, indeed. Actually, a very very neat idea. I pray they, "live long and prosper". Looks like they will, especially w/ the US Govt. behind 'em. :)
GO STRATELLITES!
Right on, ifitlooks! lol!! Like I said, it's simple because NeoMedia made it that way.
Just follow the Yellow Brick Road! :)
beacon, the NEOM/NEXT issue was an conspiracy theory that AirDungDrop concocted to whip up a frency at his very own "pump&dump" board. Simple. Check it out for yourself...it's actually pretty humorous.
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=6559833
You are such an idiot AirDropDung. You may have well thought out OPINIONS for a paranoid hack who is suspicious of anything and everything. You know that opinions are like a-hols...everybody's got one. They are what they are. No answers for them. We all can think what we want. What "facts" do you have that we're being fleeced? I don't see being solidly in the GREEN as being fleeced.
Why, one might ask? Well, just as a tiger inherently doesn't trust other animals because it knows itself and how it devours the weak w/ no regard, such are people who do wrong to others are constantly suspicious of others because they know exactly how they themselves are.
Sad life you must lead. I feel sorry for ya.
Sure, there can always be two sides to a story, but it goes down to trust built upon past history actions. Those of us that are invested in NEOM are invested because we think they have patents that will stand up to scrutiny and they will profit handsomely for their hard work and persistance over the years.
They know what they have. INTL knows what they have. MSFT knows what they have. Virgin knows what they have. ScanBuy knows what they have. SAIC knows what they have. FCB knows what they have. We know what they have.
Stop trying to save the world. You're too transparent. Nothing more useless than a supposed do-gooder whos sole interest is elevating their own ego.
Welcome Back, SOG! We'll catch up! EOM
LLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! eom
cloud8, I can almost hear the angels singing. :)
cloud8: Have a nice weekend! EOM
SeriousMoney: "...the penetrating issues raised earlier this morning." Gimme a break.
Bottom line, and everybody here knows it and has known it since 9/03, ESPECIALLY after last year's lawsuits...
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PATENTS! And, we're comfortable w/ that.
