QTN GAY GAMES AD REV..
with the info from earlier article post ... this article says we get these numbers...
1 billion - advertising revenue
16 days of Games Coverage for NBC
= equals
62 million $ in advertising revenue /day
$725000 per 30 sec spot
=equals
86 - 30 sec commercials a day
Costs for NBC.. = 793 million just for the Broadcast rights...
NBC Production Costs = 100 million
NBC only Hoping to Profit 50 Million Total
QTN paid 1.7 million for the broadcast rights
GAY GAMES ONLY 7 days..
No Tape Delay
More Live coverage
More hours of daily programming covering games..
So conservativly... First lets cut the 1 billion in half because it's half as long ( 13days / 7days)
Leaves QTN with 500 million.
-minus 1.7 million for broadcast rights
Leaves QTN with 498 million... or so
-minus 50 million production costs.. (extremely high imo)
leaves us with 448 Million..PROFIT
Obviously advertisers arent gonna pay $725,000.00 for a 30 sec commercial...
Or will they...????? WORLDWIDE ADVERTISE
448 million $$$ profit sounds fun to me.... for 6 days of work...
READ THIS... Very $$$ Intresting article on OLYMPICS NBC ADVERTISING REVUNUE from 2004.
NBC: We've got
the Olympics covered
Ad inventory is about sold with one day to go
At least one thing seems to be running smoothly for NBC in the run-up to an Olympics plagued by uncertainty.
After weeks of wavering interest on the part of advertisers in the remaining Olympic inventory, NBC over recent days has been able to sell all but the last bit, and it expects that to be sold by tomorrow.
As recently as two weeks ago, NBC still had 10 percent of its ad inventory for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games unsold.
****
But with one day to go before the Olympic torch makes its dramatic re-entrance into Athens, the network has sold 98 percent of its ad inventory for a total of nearly $1 billion, up from $900 million in 2000.
****
NBC blames the lull in ad sales on advertisers’ concerns that the Greek government would not complete final preparations in time.
****
NBC is commanding between $700,000 and $760,000 for a 30-second primetime spot, and it contends it has been able to hold firm on pricing through the final weeks.
****
The network has a huge investment to recoup, having already spent a record $793 million for the U.S. rights to the Aug. 13 to 29 Games. That's four times what it generally spends on all other sports combined. It has also spent another $100 million in production costs.
NBC hopes to realize a profit in the range of $50 million.
NBC is reportedly guaranteeing advertisers an average 13.9 household rating in primetime, having learned its lesson the hard way from the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
That year the network guaranteed between a 16 and 17 household rating, but was only able to average a 13.8, leading to huge make-goods for the Games.
Sydney made for the lowest overall Olympic ratings ever.
That was because of the lack of medal winners in U.S. women’s gymnastics, the biggest ratings draw of any of the Summer Games, as well as to the 15- to 18-hour time delay between Sydney and the U.S.
In what is clearly a rebound attempt, NBC will provide unprecedented coverage of this summer’s Games, totaling 1,210 hours across seven ad-supported networks: NBC, USA Network, Bravo, MSNBC, CNBC and Telemundo.
Primetime coverage on the broadcast network will be taped because of the seven-hour time difference between New York and Athens. But as much as a third of cable coverage will air live.
But despite such demonstrated optimism in this year’s Games, an undercurrent of worry has plagued NBC’s coverage plans. In some cases, the network has had to commit to cash refunds to advertisers in the event the Games are interrupted or canceled because of security threats.
Tomorrow’s opening ceremony, airing at 8 p.m., will be overseen by co-hosts Bob Costas, primetime Olympics host, and NBC News’ “Today” co-anchor Katie Couric.
MSNBC unofficially kicked off the Games yesterday, covering a preliminary women’s soccer competition.

Chart:
I had already posted some of this, but the chart shows the break upward in the Accum/dist line, and the high, back on Nov 30, 2004....this, along with uptrend in Accum/dist line, usually predicts upward movement of the stock.
Also, large daily volume increase toward the end of July, and continuing, probably due to sale of restricted shares...Total traded since that increase began = over 30 billion shares....so, since Frank converted his shares to preferred, leaving 21 billion O/S, could have allowed for around 29 billion to be sold(given the A/S of 50 billion)...so selling shoud be about done, (in the worst case scenario)....Also, link below(under the chart link), to the Berlin exchange, shows contined activity, as of yesterday-
Go to link, type in #924056 to pull up Triangle Multi Media- look at volume bars at bottom...also, if you click on the 6-month chart, you can see where volume began, at the end of July(also coinciding with restricted shares).....bottom line there, is that the restricted shares were probably used to cover past shorting of the stock(it was the shorting activity, on top of selling restricted, that drove the price so low, imo, and why Frank said he can't understand the pps going so low either)....so, the end should be near for that also...
In addition, just to say, that whoever is selling the restricted shares, was not just content to make a nice profit, on the discounted(if not free) shares(and, as Frank said, it is their right to sell it), but they also shorted it, further driving down the price, to make even more money, when they covered! (imo) greedy ########......
Frank did say, a couple of weeks ago, that the selling would be done soon, and it looks like we should be about there.....
I was also privy to a rumor(but unsubstantiated, so I wouldn't put much stock in it), that the Audit may be posted on the website tomorrow.....

Los Angeles-based rock band Undercurrent to appear as guests on Q Television's Morning Show 'Brunch' on Friday, October 15th, 2005
http://www.prweb.com/releases/2005/10/prweb297205.htm
(PRWEB) October 14, 2005 -- Still on a quest for inner peace and enlightenment, Undercurrent has been performing countless shows in and around Hollywood, California. Their track record consists of several shows at The Cat Club, The Roxy Theatre, The Knitting Factory and The Joint amongst others. They ventured outside of the Sunset Strip and played and the famous Universal Citywalk's BB Kings in Universal City, CA. on October 6th.
Their next stop is on live television program "Brunch," part talk show and part sitcom with hosts Honey Labrador of Queer Eye for the Straight Girl and Scott Withers.
The televison appearance coincides with the release of their debut self-titled album online, which includes songs "Hot Thing" and "Down From Love". Online, people can listen to and purchase the album, view the music video directed by award-winning director Erin Strater and see countless live performance and studio pictures of the band. Erin Strater also creatively consults with the band on a regular basis, and orchestrated the design of the album cover and website. "Erin introduced us to artist C. Finley, the artist who supplied designs for The Bravery," says Rachel Car, sultry lead vocalist for Undercurrent. "Finley's artwork is wild. The band is pleased to have her and Erin contribute to the album design."
Rachel Car, lead vocalist/songwriter, George Wabisca, lead guitarist/songwriter, JoAnn Fabrizio, bass and J.L., drummer, are back in the studio currently recording their second album titled "Both Ways," due out later this year. A return to decadence, the provacatively designed website, www.undercurrentla.com, is constantly updated with new material, news, pictures and videos.
Undercurrent will continue performing around Los Angeles and appear on Q Television at 9am PST/12pm EST on October 15, 2005.

10/14/2005 - Ruthless Tactics Concerning CEO's Health
From Frank Olsen:
"I am a proud member of the gay and lesbian community and
I stand tall as a 62 year old gay man. I am, however,
very disappointed that every time a gay man gets a sniffle
or takes a pill, someone has to say he has AIDS. This has
happened to me. As a result, I have to make the statement
that I am NOT HIV positive in any way, nor do I have any
terminal illness whatsoever. Anyone who DOES have AIDS,
you are my brother/sister and I cherish you.
My medical records can be viewed by any independent doctor
to verify that this statement is true. I DO have diabetes
and some minor complications related to diabetes, but this
in no way impairs me mentally or physically and is not
serious.
These things have been said by people for their own benefit and gain. I am sorry I had to make this statement in the
first place. That is all I have to say.

Doctoall report on studio trip... here it is
Okay, I am back and I will catch up on the board and post a bit later.
I met with Frank in a much smaller group, that included Lobo from Ihub and a few others from the Ihub group (actually only 3 of us in my group).
It should be pointed out that Frank had several small group meetings and we were the first to meet with him.
I promise that I will post ASAP [Big Grin]
Okay: First of all thanks DavidJanus for the nice comment, yes I was sitting that corner with the questions. And you can be sure that I have lots more for Frank in our meeting.
As I said I got together with Lobo , we did that because we wanted to have someone from Ihub and Allstocks together to meet with Frank and then meet after the meeting to determine what was said and what we understood was said by Frank. So I believe that Lobo will be home by tomorrow and if you want to can check his post against mine.
I did see Quality Babe there from Allstocks there as well as Davidjanus.
"Q" Television Network is clearly marked with a very nice large illuminated "Q" on the front of the building. We were greeted by security at a side gate, he had a list of names on the guest list, they actually had 100 names on the list and only 37 people showed up.
It was amazing to see the production studio and all the sets, and yes I will be posting a picture of me sitting in a pretty pink chair on the set of Brunch. I will also post a pic of Frank and I as well an one of Josh Fountain and Honey Labrador and I, she is a beauty, just turned 40 and looks like 25 [Smile]
Josh Fountain, Honey Labrador, Jack Lett, Christianne, Scott Withers and all the staff are so upbeat and sold on what they are doing. They are determined to make this work and it was a great experience spending the day with these high energy people. So now on to business [Big Grin]
Meeting With Frank, Lobo, Doctoall, and 1 other.
"Q" is being built to sell, not right now but most likely within the next 2-3 years. Frank stated that going price for a full network (which we now are) is in a range of 3-5 Billion and anywhere up to 10 or more Billion. Frank did say as an example "Say Time Warner were to buy us out" [Smile]
If the "Q" were to be sold Frank stated that you can be sure that he would no longer be there as the new company would usually purge the old management.
Frank said that this would allow him to then start the kind of network that he has been avoiding. You can be sure that he is talking about the hard stuff.
"Q" is one of it's kind as we are a live on the spot network and not just broadcasting gay movies, so we are very much envied at this point.
Carriers: We will be getting news of new carriers over the next 60 days and there is no doubt that we will be in 160 markets come the Gay Games in 2006. They have general contract with RCN, COX and Time Warner, however it is up to the local areas to add or drop programming, he did say that sometimes they can only add twice a year.
He was very strong in his statement of having a Sat company soon although he would not confirm Dish or Direct, it sounded more like Dish to me as Direct has Logo.
NO REVERSE SPLIT. There will be no reverse split as long as he is in control.
Buybacks: No planned buy backs at this point, they are using the money of the private investors to fund the company, he stated that these investors are giving upward to $200,000.00 each per month to the operating of the company. He would not disclose the names of the private investors other tha he is one of them.
PinkTV, yes Scott Withers will be talking with Pink next week as he visits France. He will be attending a cable broadcasting conference in Europe. There will be discussions regarding the coverage of the Gay Games for Europe and planning for those broadcast will be covered.
Scott has been back and forth to Chic as the planning for the coverage is well on the way, working out the logistics.
Outtv will most likely be picking up the new Reichen program that was launched today (and by the way that program is very impressive). We can expect to see more syndication

4 Icon 1 posted October 11, 2005 23:55 Profile for Doctoall Send New Private Message Edit/Delete Post Reply With Quote Frank asked us what we thought of the studio. He said that it was good for the shareholder to come and see that the "Q" is a legit company. He said that they are just not a 2 man company with a photocopier. We are a real televsion network with great capabilities.
On site they are renting out studio production time and currently have a program being produced there (geez I can't remember the name but it has to do with homemaking, knitting, crafts) and they are paying "Q" $5000.00 per hour for the facility.
"Q" is also editing for the Hollywood industry, the going rate is $150.00 per hour and Frank is currently charging a lower fee of $50.00 per hour to attract the business. Our studio has a great reputation and has been there for 17 years.
Revenue is being generated but as with any upstart we are spending a lot of money to make money.
Audit: We can expect an update at the CC and it will be discussed in greater detail. It would appear that the audit is done but there are still a few issues with the shell that they bought (you will remember that discussion by Rene in the last cc). However, they are working to resolve any pending issues to get it to the shareholders.
Frank did say that one of his biggest problems had been that he should have taken more time to keep the shareholders informed as to what he was doing to build this network, that was probably the first words out of his mouth.
Assets: Frank indicated that when the shareholders get to see the assets that "Q" owns and also see that we are "not" encumbered we are going to be very happy.
I will address the diluting theories but I want to talk with Lobo once more to make sure that I understand what Frank said about that. He did address the issue.
Frank did say that this is a long hold and smiled when I told him my motto "Long, Strong and Holding".
Geez, this has been such an exciting day, I am so charged tonight and so happy that I have a piece of the action [Big Grin]
Frank is fine, he is being treated for a condition called Neuropaty. In his case it is not associated with Diabetes and it is "not" life threatening in any way. All in All he is healthy. He did mention that he is having treatment in NY and that it is going well.

New Global Marketing and Public Relations Agency --Priority-- Spans the World with Offices in the U.S. and Europe
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 26, 2005--International publicity and marketing chief Jeff Pryor - who has spearheaded the global media campaigns for top entertainment brands such as SBS Broadcasting, S.A., National Geographic, Sony Pictures Television, Saban Entertainment, King World Productions, PROMAX&BDA and Sesame Workshop, among others - is launching Priority, a new worldwide marketing and public relations company, effective today. The move comes as a result of Pryor's continued growth, both internationally and in the range of services, prompting him to expand and redefine the scope of the company formerly known as Pryor & Associates, LLC.
Priority opens its doors with a number of established home entertainment and new media clients, including Rainbow Media Holdings, LLC, who has contracted exclusively with Priority to handle the launch of a new unit focused on global channel development and programming distribution for its linear, VOD and HD content. Priority will also handle public relations and sponsorships for PROMAX&BDA China, the organization's first-ever conference in China. As part of its full-service commitment to clients, Priority will dispatch a team of public relations professionals to Chengdu, China to handle onsite media coverage and personally oversee sponsor programs for this landmark conference. Focusing on the U.S. market, Priority has also signed a representation agreement with Q Television Network to manage its business in the home entertainment sector.
As chief executive officer of the new agency, Pryor will continue to develop effective media strategies and public relations campaigns for the firm's array of entertainment brand clients in the U.S. and worldwide markets. He will be aided by Marylou Johnston, who has served as Pryor's European director for the past 12 years under the Pryor & Associates banner. Johnston heads up Priority's European efforts, continuing to direct clients' publicity and marketing campaigns while also organizing special launch events and projects for such clients as National Geographic Television & Film and Banff Television Festival at international television markets. Kristien Brada-Thompson, as vice president of Priority in United States, will manage the agency's Hollywood-based team of publicity and marketing professionals as well as direct U.S.-based campaigns.
"While the new company will assume responsibility for all existing Pryor & Associates clients, Priority is our strategy for positioning the agency for future growth," explains Pryor. "This symbolic and strategic move both reaffirms our commitment to our clients - that they are always top priority - and to the global community of journalists - that they will receive priority service from our agency anywhere and anytime they need help."
Throughout the 1990s, Pryor has served as the founder and president of Pryor & Associates, LLC, which specialized in entertainment corporate and consumer campaigns. During that decade, the company achieved many milestones including the launch of "The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" and "Dawson's Creek" - two trendsetting youth oriented television programs. The company also handled the publicity for more than 30 channel launches around the globe, including The National Geographic Channel Worldwide & U.S., Noggin, National TV in Romania and TV2, the first private TV station in Hungary, among others. Pryor & Associates also became recognized for its ability to secure major feature stories in all leading media, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The New York Times, Time Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The Financial Times, CNBC, "Good Morning, America" and CNN, to name a few.
Johnston, who previously served as director of communications for Pryor & Associates' International division since 1993, is an integral member of the firm's event planning team, orchestrating client activities as well as overseeing media opportunities at MIPCOM, MIP-TV, The Monte Carlo Television Festival and NATPE, among others. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Johnston has lived in Nice, France for the past 15 years.
As vice president of Priority in the U.S., Kristien Brada-Thompson contributes more than 10 years of entertainment experience to the company. Her comprehensive background includes posts at TOKYOPOP Inc., FMiTV Networks, Primedia (then Emap USA) and Variety, Inc., where she acquired an extensive knowledge of publicity, brand management and journalism. A former freelance journalist whose portfolio includes multiple features in Daily Variety and other entertainment publications, Brada-Thompson graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in English Literature and an emphasis in Communication Studies.
Priority shall take over all of Pryor & Associates' ("P&A") clients and assume P&A's contracts, including executory contracts. Priority shall continue to serve P&A's clients and honor P&A's contractual obligations. None of P&A's liabilities, known or unknown, present or future, are being assumed by Priority, except otherwise agreed by the parties.
Priority, a new worldwide marketing and public relations company, specializes in personalized media and marketing campaigns devised to effectively communicate clients' messages while also reinforcing market positioning. To learn more about Priority, visit www.prioritypr.net.

Largest Gay Rights Group Sponsors 2006 Chicago Gay Games
CHICAGO, IL - Chicago Games, Inc. the host of the 2006 Chicago Gay Games, announced this week that the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the USA's largest advocacy group for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender rights, has become a global sponsor. Gay Games VII Sports and Cultural Festival will take place in Chicago July 15-22 2006.
"People say that the fight for equality is a marathon. The Gay Games brings that to life," said Joe Solmonese, HRC President. "Our goal is equality. Like any athlete knows, the harder you work, the closer you are to reaching your objective. As we look back at our progress since the 1994 New York Gay Games, we mark the return of the games to the United States with an even stronger commitment to the future fight. HRC is proud to play a partner role in helping the Gay Games change the world for the better."
"Our partnership with the 2006 Chicago Games will include cross-promotional opportunities, discounts for HRC members to participate as athletes and cultural performers, and cooperative events both in advance and during the Gay Games," said Cathy Nelson, HRC's Vice President for Development and Membership. HRC becomes a Bronze level global sponsor of the Gay Games. "We're very excited at this opportunity and encourage others to join us in welcoming the world to Chicago this July."
"We are extremely gratified by the support of the Human Rights Campaign for the Gay Games movement and the 2006 Chicago Gay Games," said Tracy Baim, Co-Vice Chair of the Chicago Games, Inc. Board of Directors. "Though our methods may differ, our goals are the same - a world free of bigotry where everyone can be safe at work, home and at play. Beyond sports, culture and social events, at its heart the Gay Games are an effort at social change. HRC will help us achieve that mission."
The Human Rights Campaign, the USA's largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender advocacy organization, envisions an America where LGBT people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community. HRC has close to 600,000 members - all committed to making this vision of equality a reality.
Founded in 1980, HRC effectively lobbies Congress, provides campaign support to fair-minded candidates, and works to educate the public on a wide array of topics affecting GLBT Americans, including relationship recognition, workplace, family, and health issues. The HRC Foundation - an HRC-affiliated organization - engages in research and provides public education and programming. For more information about the HRC, visit www.hrc.org.
Gay Games VII Sports and Cultural Festival will take place July 15-22 2006. Over 12,000 athletes from more than 100 countries will compete in 30 sports ranging from softball to dancesport, swimming to tennis. The weeklong event will include band, cheerleading and color guard performances, chorus, an ancillary arts festival, and a series of community-organized social events and parties. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 15 July at Soldier Field, the lakefront home stadium of American-style football's Chicago Bears. Closing ceremony will be 22 July at Wrigley Field, the home of Major League Baseball's Chicago Cubs, located in the heart of Chicago's largest LGBT neighborhood.
For the first time ever, the Gay Games in Chicago will receive widespread television coverage on the Q Television Network. Early sponsors of Gay Games VII include PlanetOut/Gay.com; Walgreens, Q Television Network; Orbitz; Sydney New Mardi Gras; McKnight Kurland Baccelli; Human Rights Campaign; Mate, Genre, Pink and Girlfriends Magazines; Windy City Media Group and more than 80 business sponsors. ChicagoPride.com is a proud sponsor of the Gay Games in Chicago.
Registration for Gay Games VII is now open at www.GayGamesChicago.org (English), www.GayGamesChicago.org/es/ (Spanish), www.GayGamesChicago.org/fr/ (French), and www.GayGamesChicago.org/de/ (German).

New Q NEWS to me... Jason Sechrest to Host Q TV
By Gretchen Gallen
Wednesday, September 21, 2005
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Adult industry personality Jason Sechrest has been tapped to appear on a weekly segment of “On Q Live,” a gay cable show that launched a year ago as part of the Q Television Network.
The veteran adult scribe and founder of website JasonCurious.com will be featured as the show’s in-house adult entertainment reporter, providing news on topics that range from the latest porn goings-on, to celebrities and ordinary people.
As of Sept. 27, Sechrest will appear on the Tuesday segment of “On Q Live,” which airs daily from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (PST).
Q Television broadcasts three and a half hours of live programming per night with “On Q Live.” The network recently broadcast four parades simultaneously during a 24-hour live marathon from seven cities.
“I’m so excited to have taken this position with Q Television,” Sechrest said. “To be the one bringing the latest word from our business to such a mainstream venue is an honor, and I’m looking forward to it. It will be very daunting for me, you know, talking to people who are actually clothed.”
Ad-supported Q Television Network is the official network of Gay Games VII and parent company Triangle Multi-Media Limited Inc., which serves as a teleport, a production company, a gay television network and voice for the GLBT community.
Celebrating its first-year anniversary this month, Q Television signed a licensing agreement with Atlanta-based Cox Communications in August to broadcast Q Television as a premium 24/7 network with video-on-demand capabilities.
“We are thrilled to be selected by Cox Communications as a premium channel in its television line-up,” said Frank Olsen, president, CEO and founder of Q Television Network. “We applaud Cox's commitment to diversity, and appreciate its recognition of the need to service and give voice to the gay community.”

Check this out and see how it rates on your scumbag meter. My wife and I live at Louisa and Chartres, right across from Network Teleporters(The guys with all the big satelite dishes.)on Chartres. My neighbor rents a space at the Bywater Tech Center (Formerly Delta Contractors) next door. The owner of the Tech center was contacted by someone identifying himself as a National Guard officer asking to get access to the building, as the Guard was thinking of setting up a "communications center" at the site. When the building's owner made more detailed inquiries the caller admitted that he was not with the Guard, but represented a company that had purchased Network Teleports two days AFTER the storm (for several million $$). They wanted access to the Tech Center to "inspect" some office space rented by Network Teleports. So, anyone who's heard there is a Guard station at the end of Louisa at Chartres- it ain't true. Just another tale of an outsider trying to take advantage of our misfortune- Death to all
