Thanks man, you too.
Don't take is personal - with any success story comes haters..
It's good for mCig to have it's haters - that means were doing something right!
And not all orders have been for 1 pen...
And what a bubble it is.
I suppose. I imagine we can revisit this when they go no-bid again, or when the SEC shuts them down completely..
Until then - i have the same dream you do, although i probably paid a lot more for it - haha
Bad idea.. This thing is going nowhere.
SEC hammering the CEO/Company. No-bid for i think it was 6 months this year..
Hey, maybe i'm wrong and my sell order that i've had open for 2 months at $.0002 will finally get filled... Doubt it.
So, anyone who does a 30 second DD of this company will realize how terrible it actually is, unfortunately for some of us.. we got to learn the hard way in the death spiral.
With that said - is there actually any possibility at all, that this thing moves past $.0002. I've had a sell order in at $.0002 for over 2 months now.. hasn't budged. So anyone getting in at $.0001 expecting to double, isn't going to happen.
Can someone please prove me wrong, maybe even give a couple reasons why this thing could go on a run? I realize it has volume etc.. but my sell order has been in with several weeks of 2billion in volume (Billion!)

Shorting? Hopefully someone could help me out, i thought that it was almost impossible to "short" penny or OTC stocks. That almost no company in the US would give you a margin account and if, on the rare occasion, they did - you needed a ridiculous amount of money in order to execute any "shorts" (like 1-5$ per share, per share you wanted to borrow).
Am i missing something? I see on these boards all the time, don't listen to bashers b/c they are short. But, is that really the case? Is everyone that's bashing an extremely wealthy individual that has the capacity to short a random penny stock?
I could completely see people bashing to get the price to go down so that they could get into the stock, that makes perfect sense.
Maybe i just don't have the facts straight, certainly possible. Just confused on the whole short thing.
Exactly, that's also a good possibility.
Could be he went to many, rambling about everything he did in his complaint, and they turned him down b/c he didn't have any justiciable claims. All i was saying was that's not what the court ruled on, they just ruled that he didn't make his claims with enough specificity.
Agreed, if not $1 AT LEAST to the levels of the other vpe companies.
See, that's what someone without legal training would assume. Again, i am not bashing. I just think people have the wrong idea about "dismissed" it's been "dismissed without prejudice". Google what that means.
For example, had the court in this case said - it's dismissed WITH prejudice, then, that would mean Dror was exculpated. They didn't say that - they said without prejudice, meaning they never even got to the merits of the case, they dismissed it b/c Amir represented himself and did not know what/how to prove the claims he was trying to make.
That's all
he's right - which is why i attached earlier what "without prejudice" means.
It means they didn't DECIDE the merits of the case, ie. wrongdoing. They simply said - you weren't specific, basically - go back, re do it, and we'll consider it again.
Well, this certainly explains a lot..
Amir A. Kammona, Lenoir City, TN, pro se.
Amir represented himself, LOL - he didn't even have an attorney. Which is why his complaint was so haphazard (And hilarious), and also why the court very quickly dismissed because he probably didn't even know what elements he needed to prove in order to sustain a conviction for the claims he brought.
I see that as good and bad, good b/c he's lost credibility with the court already, if he does decide to bring another suit. Possibly bad, if he were able to obtain legal counsel - they will know more about the law to file more pointed claims.
Anyway - i'll leave you guys alone now, i enjoy the law, and recently investing as well. Wanted to get some more info from the board, sorry if anything i said seemed like a "bash" to SPLI.. was not my intention.
GLE $$
No B/S at all man - i own both, and have for about 6 weeks.
I am not talking about the stock, i am talking about the law suit.
The stock will perform fine, it's in an awesome sector, and is very undervalued compared to its competitors, which will in turn make money for me - not much b/c i didn't really invest much in either mc/g or spli, but enough.
Maybe stop just discrediting everything that isn't positive, i'm honestly looking for info man - go back and read my posts, they aren't to discredit spli, or make people sell - they are informative.
If my asking about the law, and about past suits upsets you, maybe don't read what i write? who knows..
GLE
Well that's exactly it. I don't disagree with it, i also don't know what the law is in that area.
My concern is, because someone was trying to buy a controlling share in Dror's company - he issued more and more shares to keep them from doing that. That means, ALL shareholders are negatively effected, not just Amir..
Again, i have no idea how else to combat someone trying to buy a controlling share - i am glad that people are actually responding with information though rather than just bashing - i am just trying to learn all this stuff..
Gotcha - well whenever you find the name of the site, i'd love to check it out. Unless you've already posted here, then you could just send me in the direction.
Thanks beamin
Not a groupie at all man - read my posts. I own BOTH stocks. I have nothing to hide.
I'm in law school and doing all the DD that i can on this company - as i have with all other company's I own.
There have just been things said about the lawsuit with Dror that i cannot find paperwork for, as i said in my previous posts - i am reading from the court documents directly.
Just looking for info - not sure why everyone over here get's so defensive..
No, that's what i am saying. I work for a law firm, i have a PAID membership to all court filings/orders/pleadings everything, through my job. It's a web site called westlaw, lawyers have been using it for years.
The court doesn't issue "summary's" They issue orders, opinions. I am reading from the courts order.
Maybe i just don't understand what the Summary thing is, is it from the court? Or like a paid website?
Where can you get summary files?
I'm on Westlaw. This is the actual order written by the judge.
maybe i just don't know what "summary files" are?
Sorry for any noob questions. Just trying to understand everything
BTW beamin1 thanks for the responses
Amir A. KAMMONA, Plaintiff,
v.
ONTECO CORPORATION, et al., Defendants. (Dror)
Just read the complaint. Was dismissed without prejudice, meaning Amir can bring another more focused/specific claim.
The inclusion of the term without prejudice in a judgment of dismissal ordinarily indicates the absence of a decision on the merits and leaves the parties free to litigate the matter in a subsequent action, as though the dismissed action had not been started.
Reason for my post, is that YES it has been dismissed, but not on the merits of the case - just b/c Amir probably had a shitty lawyer. So, he can easily hire someone else and have this retried.
The basic idea, is not what was stated earlier. Amir's complaint is that as he would purchase more and more shares of stock DROR would issue more, ie fronm 35mil a/s to 75mil to 350mil to 750mil to 2bil.
Dilution city, that's not a good sign. As i'm sure everyone else is, i'm curios to see if Amir tries to bring suit again.
I have to agree, that is extremely informal. A CEO of a company responding to an allegation of a lawsuit from an investor, and he uses that type of language?
That doesn't seem right.
Seems like he was just making excuses "we were kids". All well and good, i'm sure everyone here has been in trouble before, in one form or another.
That response scares me a little though.
Call me naive - but, doesn't the fact that there are this many law suits to even discuss make anyone nervous about the CEO?
Typically, in my experience at least, people who do not engage in activities that warrant law suits, aren't involved in them.
Obviously there are exceptions.
No kidding - Glad i posted.
Thanks for the info.
Law Suit:
Does anyone know about this lawsuit? i wasn't sure if it was mentioned before.. Just seems like Dror has perennially had some legal issues.

Colorado Appeals Court: Some Marijuana Convictions Can Be Overturned Under New Law

Marijuana
BY STEVEN K. PAULSON, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
DENVER (AP) — Colorado's second-highest court ruled Thursday that some people convicted of possessing small amounts of marijuana can ask for those convictions to be thrown out under the law that legalized recreational marijuana in the state.
The Colorado Court of Appeals said people whose cases were under appeal when Amendment 64 took effect in December 2012 are eligible to have their convictions reversed.
A spokeswoman for the Attorney General John Suthers said prosecutors are reviewing the opinion to determine any next steps.
Marijuana advocate Brian Vicente said the ruling could affect hundreds of people who were given jail terms for petty marijuana offenses.
The case involved a woman who was convicted of multiple drug charges, including possession of about a third of an ounce of marijuana. Amendment 64 decriminalized the possession of an ounce or less of marijuana.
In the ruling, the judges said it they had a duty to follow the will of the voters.
The judges said a defendant could get post-conviction relief if "there has been significant change in the law."
Colorado legalized pot in 2012, but the drug's commercial sale didn't begin until the beginning of this year. State revenue officials say Colorado made roughly $2 million in marijuana taxes in January, with 59 businesses selling about $14 million worth of recreational pot.
Washington state sales begin in coming months.

Recent Events Effectively De-Risk Nuvilex, Inc.
BALTIMORE, Maryland, March 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Goldman Small Cap Research, a stock market research firm focused on the small cap and micro cap sectors, recently published a new research update on Nuvilex Inc. (OTCQB: NVLX). In the update, senior analyst Rob Goldman outlines his latest thesis.
"In our view, with institutional funding in place to a potential $27 million, Nuvilex has been transformed from an also-ran to a soon-to-be-prime time player in the biotech and medical marijuana arenas. Moreover, this funding agreement validates the Company's technology and effectively de-risks the stock."
Nuvilex is a biotechnology company with the rights to a novel cellulose-based live-cell encapsulation technology, called Cell-in-a-Box(TM), that will be used as a platform upon which treatments for several types of cancer, including advanced, inoperable pancreatic cancer, and diabetes are being built. Nuvilex's treatment for pancreatic cancer involves the use of the widely used anticancer prodrug, ifosfamide, together with encapsulated live cells that convert ifosfamide into its active or "cancer-killing" form. Nuvilex's subsidiary, Medical Marijuana Sciences, Inc., is dedicated to the development of cancer treatments based upon the well-known chemical constituents of marijuana. Nuvilex is exploring ways in which the Cell-in-a-Box(TM) technology may play a role in these efforts.
According to Goldman, now that an institution has validated the company, attention will be focused on fundamentals and a series of future milestones and executable events, which means a higher future valuation for the company and all three of its treatment categories: cancer, diabetes, and medicinal marijuana. Moreover, since all three categories address high profile, multi-billion dollar markets, the associated future valuation adjustments could be substantial as milestone events are executed.

NVLX - Solid company. Groundbreaking idea.
No dilution! Buy while they are cheap.
Now were talking!
This board get's awfully quite when things like this happens.
Aren't these usually buying opportunities?
Or has everyone conceded that this is a loss and trying to dump what they have left?
Man.. been following this board a while, there is some serious money being made on here right now.
Like a complete jackass i sold my 20k shares last week for what now seems like a measly 80% gain, lol.
WTF - back in today to enjoy the ride, just not with as many shares..
good luck everyone
Why the hate on Pikachu?? He's in here for the same reason we all are.. to make money.
More importantly... this isn't a very productive "Power Hour".
sum1 y wood.
Fantastic stuff there..
I agree, i am leaving my shares where they are to see where this goes. I am sure i'm not as invested as some people here.
All i was saying is, even after successful phase II, funding, finding patients, more work, phase III..even if successful, it still comes down to as you mentioned a heavily lobbied FDA.. the FDA is my #1 concern for this, and for any other drug company for that matter.
I've seen plenty of groundbreaking technologies shot down by the FDA because it would start cutting into the pockets of the big players (lily/celegene etc..)
Holding here.
Actually bought more today.
Go mCig!
Funny, i mentioned my hesitations with biotech's due to FDA not typically wanting to upset the balance of current standards of care, and was quickly shot down..
Sorry if this is a repost..

Anybody have any idea about that article? Surely doesn't paint a very good light of our CEO..
Just asking, in no way bashing.. i just don't remember reading about this on this board.
Thanks in advance for the info.
