Read up on SMME...and do it quickly. This penny stock could turn into a dollar stock very soon.
Add my name to the list of those who hope to put gains from one stock into this one....I bought some at the high of $.034 some time ago...but still expect to profit from that transaction.
Are you asking/inferring about the probability of an out of court settlement?
Chaya...thanks for the updates and responses. As people "not in the game", but sitting on the sidelines, I can understand some people's concerns as they read the defendants comments. But truth is truth, and your reassurances put the light on it. This stock is a once in a life time event. Thus the apprehension. Many of those I mention Smartmetric to shake their heads and walk away in unbelief...a penny stock going to a dollar stock in months....due to a fight against Visa and Mastercard. Don't believe it, they tell me. Their loss...I remain a believer!!
Thanks for the info. Always good to know what the other side thinks. At least now the silence is broken on both sides. I trust more "noise" to come.
As for the "outdated" product...recall Chaya mentioned issues that we have overcome and others have not in the production process. Others may be out there...but ours will be the superior product once we begin to produce them.
Time to buckle up!!!
So how would that affect SMME? or does it just open up Visa for some stockholder lawsuit?
What might that imply???
Thanks for the good news. I see this ending before then....:)
Thanks for the information
Hey, being young is to your advantage. You'll have a lot more time to add to your position and enjoy a longer "good life" than those my age...60+. I'm just hoping it all happens soon so I can pay off my mortgage and enjoy SOME of the "good life" in my waning years...and be able to hire someone to push me around in my wheelchair.
I have been into the market for over 40 years and SMME is the kind of stock one buys for pennys, holds for a very long time, watch as its stock splits and splits, and then live off the dividends which will come later. A handfull of stocks are in this catagory. They come along twice in a lifetime....
Few stocks have the potential to add to people's wealth in such a short time as SMME...the lawsuit; and the products. It all adds up to a very good life... starting soon. Take advantage of this time and buy more.....
It's long gone... It's now an industrial park. They paved over it some 8-10 years ago. If they had asked me I would have suggested they leave a small part of the track and put plexiglass over it for people to view and remember.....but they didn't ask me.
Do you complain about Christmas coming only once a year, too?
Some lawsuits take over twice as long as this one will take. Some companies don't even reach sales of $10 million in their lifetime. SMME has TWO products with potential for HUNDREDS of millions in sales for each product...and the possibility of a lawsuit adding hundreds of millions, and possibly over a BILLION dollars to its balance sheet.
SMME gives its investors a chance to go beyond the moon and reach the stars.........and you have "thin patience"? Sit back and buckle up....enjoy the ride because you will probably never get another opportunity to acquire wealth like you will in SMME.
And make sure when it happens to thank Chaya for the opportunity given you..... Now go back and dream of what you will do with your new found wealth.....
Why does everyone believe in the axiom: Buy low...sell high, but are afraid to buy low?? Obviously the risk is great here without revenue...only the hope of revenue. But it seems to me that in 6 months many will be wishing they had bought low..... If the trials are indicative of what this product can do then patience and stock in this company are the only commodities one needs....Let's talk again in 6 months.....
here's something to remember: alligators; swamps; humidity; BUGS; and oh yea, hurricanes....come to your senses!! :)
How long since you relocated? I will say that the best beach I ever visited was on the Guld side of FL, near Tampa Bay. White sand, powery, flat, and hundreds of feet of it before you got to the water.... No beach in CA compares... I've been 3 years into SMME, this is the year we will all know how much the wait was worth....
Buying this stock now, I think, beats buying a surfboard!! If all goes well, you may be able to buy your own surfboard store. :) Why would anyone move from S CAl to Florida???? Just a personal thought....
Was not aware taxes were paid on court settlements....
The Federal Appellate case was a split decision. The lower court had ruled completely in V/MC's favor. The appeal reversed part of that lower court decision. That decision, as I understand it, favored SMME regarding the activity of card users as they made the connection, when INSERTING the ATM/debit card, from the terminal being used to the account connected to the card. Thus saying: IF the Patent holds to be valid, this activity infringes upon it.
IF the patent is held NOT to cover this activity I would suggest to Chaya she ask for her money back which she spent on securing the patent.... :)
What went against SMME was the same activity but rather than inserting the card, the card is waved/passed over the terminal rather than being inserted.
My guess/confusion regarding this trial ahead is for the court to determine whether or not patent "464" is valid and covers the connection process between terminal and cardholder's account.
That's how I understand it. That's why I believe SMME will receive a summary judgement in its favor and the price will rise quickly with only a $ amount to be determined...which will be large. MY ADVICE: open a Roth IRA and buy SMME in it....all the profits will be TAX FREE when you reach age 59 1/2 and can take out the money without penalty!! :)
Any ruling in SMME's favor is good
My apologies to you. Did not mean it to be a slap in the face, only thought you'd be more explanatory regarding the info. I am one who does appreciate the pacer info... and hope that you continue to inform us with the up to the minute information. Sorry...
and your point?? I would expect MC/V to do what they did. If they had not done so we would be looking a done deal and out of court settlement talk...
I, too, appreciate your info. Many of us do not have the access to Pacer and do welcome the news.
Interesting and informative....but statistics look backwards. The future of each case determines those statistics and there are always exceptions to the general conclusions of the statistics. AND IF SMME loses/receives nothing from this endeavor...what does that say regarding the US patent office? IMO it would say that patent 464 is meaningless...then what conclusion does that lead to regarding the US Patent Office??
AND again, what affect does the Appeals Court decision of last year mean as well?? Taking this case on its merits...IMO we will do well with our investments....
thank you...
website please
I have always been confused regarding the Federal Appeals Court decision...as it relates to the trial ahead. Has it been determined by the Appeals court that there was patent infringment and therefore ONLY damages need to be determined in the Sept trial? OR does the trial ahead determine whether or not there was infringment and if so determines damages; or if not no damages are to be awarded. AND if the later...what effect would the Appeals court decision have on an appeal??? In short...what is to be determined in the Sept trial and how does the Federal Appeals court decision matter to it????
In English please...
thank you
My vote is with you....
Please define/describ DTC
I see nothing that connects Smartmetric with the investment firm you show....
I heard the CC and must disagree with you. She was forthcoming in explaining that things are in the works for distribution via a national drug store chain and possibly a Fortune 500 company. She mentioned that a sales force, in the traditional sense, is not part of the game plan. Sell a million of these to a CVS or Walgreen and let them do the individual sales...or to a Unitedhealth or Humana and let them distribute them. Makes a whole lot of sense to me..... And the radio ads need to be no more than informational with an "800" number to call or a website to link to. Glad she's running the company...
Some of the highlights...
--Medical key will soon be available in the UK and USA. Major drug store chain, to be named later, is in talks wih SMME to sell/distribute. ALSO Fortune 500 company in talks regarding the medical key as well for use in their network. Price in UK: $100, in USA: $89.95 Tt will be easy to use and usable in all PC's which all medical offices have. The gross profit margin will be around $45/key. Est of 1st year sales: 1 million to 5 milliion
--Biometric Card will have multiple uses from credit cards to security cards. No pin number is needed, only a swip of the card holders finger which the chip will read and then, if acknowledged, active the usage of the card.
--Production of the Medical card, if I heard correctly, will begin soon. The Biometric card will come to market when more funding is available...either with the funds from the medical card or the lawsuit.
--Lawsuit damages asked by SMME will be announced within a week or 2 weeks. It will be over $1 billion. With approx. 130 million shares outstanding the PPS (price per share) will make all those of us believers with meager means a rather comfortable retirement. There are no offers from outside to buy SMME; V/MC appear NOT to have mentioned this pending lawsuit in their annual reports; Patent "464" is a US patent only--however, prior intellect property rights may prevail worldwide...
Those are the highlights of the Call that I remember. AND the reference to a Merry time by Christmas means, appart from the obvious connection of the words, only means that our money will certainly be in the bank.... BUY ALL....
Good question. I knew no more that what was made public. I am aware that property in America and I believe in Latin America was owned by the company...don't know about what happened to it. This activity could well be in regards to the disposition of those assets....I wish someone would say something about the activity....
Conference call was informative. News out regarding amount of damages SMME will be seeking in a week or two. Chaya was very positive and open in the remarks she made. By Christmas we will be quite merry campers...
My broker at the time told me to take some profit at $.60 I should have listened to him. My breakeven is about $.02...hope to get my money out.
I owned it when it was La Forza, before John took it over. Ran with it the whole time, believing and hoping it was all true...
How long have you been in it?
Wondering who owns this stock? I ran with it from the lows to its discinagration... Anyone out there who has been in this stock through its storied life?
Thanks for the legal information. I am surprised that the papers were handed over...anyone else surprised??...rather than talk of a settlement. What kind of "trade secrets" are in there that V/MC want to keep secret? If that is true re: the "trade secrets", do you think they will go to a public trial for all the world to see them??? Wonder if SMME will return to the courts and ask to allow Chaya to review the papers...???
