I don't understand some of the posters here? The share expansion has been in the 10k for some time now but people are reacting like the sky is falling? We need a reactor to begin production and at 1 million just for the reactor plus building costs and employees we will need funding. IMO we have to expect more dilution, nobody is going to drop a pot of gold in Steve's lap. I see this as a sign of us moving forward... Have you ever looked at INTEL their share count is almost 5 billion...
Frost and Sullivan report was 20th of December, announced just before Christmas break.. It takes time to develop these relationships, in particular ones that require 100s of KGS. Recent announcement of Tetrapod patent, high quantum yield, Frost and Sullivan award and report, Dr Bob speaking at Printed Electronics and upcoming Tri-Con conference where we have a booth and Steve will be attending... No news for over a year and now all this recent activity IMHO we are gearing up for a great 2013.
Merry Christmas to everyone.. Feels like a bit of a family here, we have our disagreements but I think we all wish each other the best and for QMC to prosper. It been a long wait but I think we are going to take the world by storm in 2013. It's gonna be fun.
CS, what investor are you talking about? I think what Crunch was opposed to was the call for all management to be removed... This is Steve's dream without him it is over, to suggest he be removed is a pretty strong reaction.. I agree this is a place where discussion should take place, but I think the fact that some here bought at triple the current PPS it has clouded their judgement and comments. I'm curious about the suggestion that we need more people supplying the market? Isn't that why you want the exclusive patent on your product? So you are the sole provider? If I created a miracle drug do you think I would share that with all my competition?... Just my thoughts no attacks intended..
Good question, my feeling is this could be a great business connection just because of the interest they have in quantum/nano technology. I noticed the principals involved have Russian ties, perhaps some inroads into that country. Just another opportunity IMO, more connections/networking the better in business. We could have solar facilities in many countries, expansion will require funding... I know we still need the first one before talking about multiple countries.. trying to keep it real until we hear some news of substance... Thanks
I agree with CS (apparently pigs do fly) forward that to Art, he will get it to Steve.. Good find!
It's sad to see what's happened to this board. It was once a great place to exchange information, trying to help each other understand the technology and realize the potential. Some don't even want to see articles on QDots and there applications, I really don't understand why you wouldn't want to know what our product could be used for and the markets it will affect. Why else are we here? Denise why do you think these ihub boards exist? People like you and I trying to glean information so we can better understand what we are investing in. If you had attended the conference, you would have witnessed people asking QD vision and Nanoco question like "who are you doing business with" with silence as a reply. There are questions public companies will not answer.. Why? IMO Steve is working on deals that are significant in size and scope, deals that will require 100s of KGs of Qdots. Huge investments required by interested companies. That is my guess as to the silence and why it is taking the length it has to announce deals. We all have to face the facts Steve speaks through the 10k and 10Q and that is how he conducts business, we may not like it but that is the truth. Constantly complaining about it serves zero purpose IMO. We will know our boats come in when a 8k is issued and we have a deal done. I sincerely wish everyone the best here, I feel the frustration myself after being here for 3 years.. I would just like to finish with.. Remember everyone we are getting in on the ground floor... I haven't seen any other company cappable of doing what we can, not even close. Nobody wants this to happen more than Steve and I want to publicly thank him for his efforts to date, my glass is half full!
That's the kind of post that made Crunch leave and I'm done too.. Thanks to the few who get it... Good luck
We have done the math here many times that's where the potential PPS comes from. 100kg per day = over million revenue per day with very little expenses. I don't understand your thoughts on QMC, your the one with 100k invested? What do you forsee for QMC?
I like your analysis, this stock is tightly held. When the deals are announced the PPS will jump. BigE, sorry I just can't compare this company to a one off patented invention. We know there is demand for the use of QDs. Mass production will make many products that were cost prohibitive available to the market. It's been a long wait but companies need to analyze our products and do their due diligence before signing significant deals, ones that require mass production. IMO when we strike a deal it won't be small, this company is looking to change the way business has been done in the past. I recall Steve calling it "disruptive technology". We will be affecting some of the most lucrative markets, energy, biotechnology, displays, sensors etc etc... Whoever is selling at these levels is crazy IMHO.
Your kidding right? All we are is an interesting idea? What do you call our our recently awarded QD Tetrapod patents and our R2R patents? This is far more than a "interesting idea" Quantum dots are currently being used and this is a developing market. It's pretty easy to see all the applications they can be used for by typing it in a Google search. I'm happy to be in at the ground floor.
Damn right
I've talked to him, so has Crunch. Im just guessing here but maybe it's your approach.
Free, I think my frustration is someone posting after not being around for 7 months and they throw down negative comments that really have no basis. It falls on Crunch or other board members to gather the facts to dispute it, and you feel it is okay to deleted the response? How are we supposed to refute these posts when you keep deleting them. IMO you are causing more harm than good.
Lol, I guess I'm just not ready to make the leap to aliens taking over. Speaking of conspiracies is this Barrymore or not? I'm looking forward to seeing Steve and hearing Dr Bob at the Dec conference, anyone else planning on going?
Mono, did you use to go by the pseudonym Barrymore? You sound alot like him with the investing group comment and conspiracies on free energy repression.. Just curious.. Thanks
Well said BigE, IMO now that our IP's are secure we will see contracts announced in the near future. GLTA
I think this has been posted before, but I haven't seen the attached video. Clearsudden, I know the Canadian CTO is being taken care of as we speak. You can email the company and they may confirm this.
A team of researchers at the Photonic Network Research Institute of Japan’s National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) has developed a new light source technology that might pave the way to some pretty spectacular applications in the future.
The core piece of the technology are “high-quality” quantum dots, tiny nano particles, that boast higher stability and optical frequency than those created the conventional way.
By using the so-called “Sandwiched sub-nano separator structure”, NICT says their quantum dots can be utilized in optical frequency bands that are about 70 Thz wide, which is about seven times wider than the 10Thz of conventional frequency bands currently offer.
NICT also says that because this new wavelength band can permeate human skin, their technology could also be used in bio-imaging, for example to shoot high-resolution photos of new molecules in cells.

Crunch, that was a very mild estimate of what I think may happen. You mention KSA needing 41gw in the near future. How about India and their energy crisis? Japan with their Nuclear program issues? Who can provide them with ability to produce GW solar cell production? First Solar is currently able to produce approximately 2GW per year, falling far below future demands.
It's been stated a 100kg per day on a one year production schedule is needed for a 1GW solar project. So let's do the math. 1000 grams in a kg x 100 = 100,000 grams per day x 252 days of production = 25200000 grams x $30? = $756, 000, 000 almost 1 billion... And that is ONE industry. We have bio, lighting, displays etc etc... IMHO the potential is staggering.
If you read Steve's bio he built a company from the ground up to 200 employees so I think he has the ability to handle the growth once this takes off.
I see you have over 24,000 posts to your credit. I suppose you've seen a few shorters in your time. Thanks for calling it like it is.
Fair market value? This stock is well below that with the patents they have, can't wait for the day they serve notice to all the people infringing on there r2r printing IP. IMHO someone is deliberately keep this stock down. I have no doubt this company is staging into contracts and production. Look at the 10k I see lots of positives. When news starts to flow they are gonna be screwed. Qtmman is just trying to aquire cheap shares by bashing, can you be any more obvious?
Crunch, he will never deliver a answer on that question I've tried asking many times. He calls you cryptic but will never come clean as to why he has 100k invested in this stock but never has a positive thing to say?? You have to be pretty confident or foolish to invest 100k in a penny stock that you constantly question.
Crunch is correct, if you have never heard of share price manipulation, how and why it's done you need to do research. Type it in to Google and you will find a wealth of information. I'm not saying it is happening here but the possibility is there, driving down the SP artificially can put pressure on a start up to raise funds perhaps forcing a buyout of undervalued technology. IMHO for the potential here the SP evaluation doesn't compute.
The filing can still be considered "timely" if it is filed in short order. A late filing request isn't the end of the world, perhaps there was a hiccup with the paperwork. The 10k is quite extensive.
Morse has been the company's attorney for awhile now.

I can see why they failed at a QD bulb at $100 each it is not commercially viable. The technology is here, but the cost per gram of QD is keeping product costs too high. QMC will be in demand with micro/macro reactor technology and the ability to mass produce instead of batch line delivery.
Threatened? Lol, more like irritated. How about explaining what led you to spend 95K on QMC? Still waiting on that answer....
Crunch, I thought BigE would be schooling us on the virtues of QMC, after all he has $80,000 invested in this company..... ; )
Count yourself lucky CS, there are people I know of that have had issues purchasing and no its not because of being on the OTCBB. Regardless, if there is a Canadian company interested in funding a Micro-Reactor I'm pretty sure they would want the CTO in BC cleared as part of the agreement.
I was able to aquire some of my shares before the CTO was officially in place, primarily during the days of HGUE as the ticker. As of now the ban should be covering all of Canada as outlined below.
Presently, all equity and fixed income marketplaces in Canada have retainedthe Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) as their regulation services provider. Under the rules adopted by IIROC, if asecurities regulator issues a CTO with respect to an issuer whose securities are traded on amarketplace, IIROC imposes aregulatory halt on trading of those securities on all marketplaces for which IIROC acts as a the regulatory services provider. Such action is taken whether or not the CSA regulator that issued the CTO is the principal regulator of the issuer. Once the halt is imposed by IIROC, no person subject to these rules may trade those securities on any marketplace in Canada, over-the counter or on aforeign organized regulated market. The Montreal Exchange regulates and oversees the options market. When a CTO is issued, the Montreal Exchange and IIROC coordinate their decisions to halt trading of securities and options on these marketplaces simultaneously.
Its strange if you are able to CS, I know there are individuals who have tried without success back east.
80K gamble but you can retire on 3 million...that isnt a Lebron lifestyle.. I honestly don't know what your trying to achieve but you have no credibilty with me...
Sry but 800K at an average of say...10 cents....your in for 80 thousand on a penny stock that you admit you are completly unsure of. Huh? Something doesnt add up..i dont care how wealthy you are but 80K on a "gamble" as you have labeled the company in the past?
Rip, I'll have to lean on your expertise here. Doesn't the BOD have to disclose any selling of shares?. Thanks.
Maybe you should go back to your freeink stock..this ones a little over your head.

Hey all, I'm so tired of the other board. Its sad how a few idiots have ruined it over there. Nice to visit here where there are intelligent life forms. Keep the faith everyone, good things are in the works. Its always darkest just before the dawn. Cheers!
I see... you are so interested in this company that you bought shares and invested. Now you are actually hoping it wont make it...I get it now...WHAT??? Do you deny the progress the company has made since start up as stated in filings? I do agree with you on one point we do have a wonderful CEO who had kept dilution to a minimum. Solar panels are not the only avenue for QD sales. I won't list them here as it has been detailed in the ibox. Have you had a chance to read that info yet?
