If anyone should want to move this company along with some alacrity, it's Dr. Seymour. He's 70 years old.
Seaside cannot dump shares. Their purchase agreement calls for sales at scheduled intervals over several months.
Name them.
NNVC is deliberate and wary. We investors are the kids in the back seat yelling "are we there yet?"
It sounds to me like typical government bloviating, gobbledygook. A normal person could have said all that in one paragraph of ten sentences. Bureaucratese to the nth power.
The integrity of NNVC management will be severely damaged if there is no reported Pre_IND and no date set for an IND application, by June 30, 2011.
It's ROCHE.
What can't Seaside "LOOSE" on it?
Yes! If not, then Fidelity posted erroneous information. I went to the Zacks site. They have NNVC rated a 3 out of 5. They also offer a Stonestreet, 16 page report for $5.
The announcement was on Fidelity's news and events site for NNVC.
Zacks Financial out of Chicago announced new coverage of NNVC with a hold recommendation. Doesn't seem to have done much for the price. If we're worth recommending why not open with a buy. Maybe they're preparing for the big pre-INDA announcement in June. The run-up after that will give their recommendation more credibility when they move to a buy.
Weedie! Remind us again why you are enduring this torture to go back to West-BY GOD-Virginia. Just kidding. I drove up through the New River Gorge area last fall, and it is beautiful country.
Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNVC
"We plan on out-licensing our GMP facilities. We have already identified several facilities..." It appears they don't need to "buy" a facility. (This is from the same report you just quoted.)
Good one, Wild.
Haven't you been reading the news from NNVC for the past six years. What do you think saved those animals after massive infusions of deadly viruses. Just scale up the doses (2/3 of an ounce over 48 hours) and you get the same result in humans.
Please list your reasons that its a bad idea.
Welcome to your worst nightmare!!!!
Cox is prohibited from trading in stocks he covers by Agora. You know that, but you insist on denigrating the man's reputation. Shame on you.
Doc Feelgood, why don't we see the Friday bounce anymore?
Give it up. You sit on your computer and pounce on every positive NNVC comment like a vulture on road kill. Get a life.
I understand your frustration. However, most on this site see the bouncing around as a lack of focus on the part of management. In most minds enough has been done to have moved at least one product to an IND. The pent up frustration is just bubbleing over. Hopefully NNVC will approach the FDA soon and put all this to rest.
From your lips to God's ears.
Kelt, why aren't more people watching the game?
Just consider the source and ignore it.
Sorry Doc, I was hoping you'd be right.
So much for that theory.
Have there been any discussions with NNVC concerning succession plans in the event any of the pricipals become incapacitated (God Forbid).
I agree. That's why I've been here for almost six years. But, it does get frustrating. I still think the officers of NNVC are trying to do too much themselves. I think they should bring in some help for this final push.
The only messages we are getting are those sent between members of the NNVC board. After a while it just gets fatiguing to track them all.
I recall that just one 'short' year ago we waited with bated breath for the release of all those PR's that were hung up during the 'quiet period.'
We're now waiting on the long belated reply to Cox and Mauldin promising IND contact with the FDA in the first quarter of 2011.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
The NNVC board seems to be suffering from "message fatigue."
Keltoi, keep up the encouragement. I need it. I still can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. Did anyone get a transcript of Dr. Seymour's presentation in South Africa?
DaBoze
The financial world greeted the announcement that NNVC has a universal cure for all strains of influenza with a valuation reduction of $4,200,000. 140,000,000 shares outstanding multiplied by $1.29 minus $1.26 (Mon and Fri valuations).
Obviously, there must now be a tectonic shifting news event to move the share price toward the valuation that most of us believe this stock warrants.
I feel as if we are a gang of serfs milling around outside the NNVC castle (with a moat full of alligators) waiting for someone to lower the drawbridge.
It's hard to believe that someone as passionate about seeking a cure for Dengue Fever as Dr. Harris would stop her research. She certainly has other funds, governmental and private, that would allow her to carry on.
I gather by this response from Dr. Seymour that FluCIDE will be the initial INDA candidate.
POI! You sure do get excided. Go NNVC. Jump in at any time Weedy.
I beg to differ. Dr. Seymour has stated on more than one occasion that NNVC's goal is to present a pre-IND by the end of their fiscal year, which is June 30th. That is pretty clear and specific to me.
If you read my post carefully, it said, "assuming NNVC completes..."
Doc Feelgood, (and anyone else that may have an opinion),assuming NNVC completes its pre-IND application by June 30th, how long should it take to get to a Phase-1 IND for human testing?
The 1918 worldwide influenza epidemic killed nearly 100,000,000 people. That sounds pretty deadly to me. More soldiers in WWI died of flu than any other cause.
