I think you are wrong. I believe this "dilution" is what is going to bring this company to the fore front of the new media industry. Revenues when they start I think will grow quickly. I believe real money on very favorable terms is on the way.
I think all of this is great for shareholders. I am willing to wait or the return. If you are trading or looking to flip this stock you may have something, this is not a flip. Big rewards go to people willing to take a chance. I have done my homework and I believe I am correct.
The word Dilution, especially in the penny world is a 4 letter word. In reality though dilution is why companies go public, to get financing and raise capital. When PNTV gets financing, and I believe they will, will you then come over to the light?
Here we are beating a dead horse. Fun, yes, but it is an exercise in futility. You believe the issuing of shares is irresponsible, lining the pockets of the CEO and is getting the company nowhere except into greater debt.
I and others believe that the CEO is prudently and judiciously using companies shares to build a multi million dollar company. I can say with 100% certainty by looking at how the CEO lives he is not lining his pockets.
Time will tell if you are right or I am right. This is the only penny stock I own that allows me to sleep at night. They may not be successful in their business plan (I don't think that will be the case) but at least I know my money isn't being stolen.
If you don't believe that don't buy the stock.
Say what you will but 60 mm shares over 12 yrs with no splits? The majority issued have been restricted and yes they are ramping up to launch the next phase of their business and that costs money. Many of the shares being issued are being held long term by these vendors. In essence the vendors have become investors in the company.
When financing comes will you feel better? Mark has had a multitude of opportunity to take cheap money but wouldn't because he thought the company to valuable. As the share price has held a new levels I believe he will be able to achieve fair value for the financing he is looking for. I believe we see something about financing in the near future.
Wish I had your income stream.
I'd like to be but I am completely out of powder. I really do like the bid support though. Some solid buying and it will go north.
If you look at the buys that came in on Friday you can see some very large blocks bought. Looks like something other than retail. Looked more like one buyer made up the majority of the volume.
Large volume with a nice uptick. Very happy about today.
That seller yesterday is kicking themselves now!
Morning MG,
Good day all around. PNTV just won't go away. Can't keep a good thing down I guess.
RILO I couldn't ad anymore except to say that I am one of those that have been here loooong before the term FLD was thrown around. I suspect I will be here long after it is passe'. Technology and business plan for PNTV are meeting just as planned. The next year will be very exciting for Players.
Kezzek, that is not true. here is your response and the message it was responded to.
Here is the original messge from me:

As for Mr. Tices friends I am not suggesting they all will immediately run out and start buying shares. I am guessing that over the course of time, the next year, as the relationship btw PNTV and Mr. Tice develops he brings in many of his friends. To think just his name would start a buying frenzy is silly though it does seem like some thought it might. For me it ads credibility to PNTVs business plan.

Let me address your points in turn:
Your post certainly sounded like you were expecting Mr. Tice to promote PNTV to his wealthy friends. If that hasn't been successful with the price well down from his average, I'm guessing it won't be.
So you responded to what I said, "With in A year before his friends were to invest". I still believe that Mr. Tice makes a direct investment into the company. If he is working on that it could explain the slowed volume. Also if such an investment was to be made we wouldn't know the details of such an agreement. Being a savvy business man Mr. Tice would most likely want to complete this transaction prior to bringing in any other money. JMHO
We shall see.

As for shorts, certs etc. I am sure your math is correct. I don't have enough understanding to enter into debate. The only word I can think of here is NOBO.
I agree with you, he can't sell without tanking the price. I know it's been debated but as a 10% owner he is subject to SEC rules and can only sell so much at a time. After dropping below 10% I guess he would no longer be subject to that rule. I don't see him selling.
Lastly, the reasons why Mr. Tice bought in the open market before doing a direct placement neither of us know. He is uber wealthy, I am not and am assuming you're not either otherwise you wouldn't be posting on this board, so to second guess his strategy from either of us would be foolish.
My bet is that he is going to put in a sizable amount of money into the company. I believe the company will get very favorable terms. I bet even more that his price would be higher than CVM. Mr. Tice knows (and so does the CEO) if he went into the open market and bought $1mm worth of PNTV at yesterdays closing price that would be 5263157 shares. Mr. Tice knows what that volume would do to the share price. Raise it far above where he could buy it directly.
There's still time to come to the light Kezzek. Forget the Monk thing. PNTV was around 12 years before Monk and will continue for the next 12 yrs regardless of what happens. It's a real business with an honest CEO.
You are right and I am very grateful Mr. Tice saw the potential of this company. Fact is tho he did. Now just imagine if Mr. Tice invested $1 mm plus directly into the company. Then imagine Mr. Tice telling his extremely wealthy friends what an amazing company PNTV is and that they should go into the market and invest in them like he did. And then imagine (pure speculation here) if Mr. Tice called his broker and had him put all his shares into cert form. Imagine what that would do to the share price.
Hey Drew,
Are you the same VD from Debs SPNG board? I don't know if you remember me from the old days but I was there from the beginning. I don't know from FLDs EIGH, CDIV or GRNO, what there businesses were or who there management was. I wanted to tell you though that I have been involved with PNTV for 12 years and this company is anything but a scam. You do great DD. Check them out. Tight share structure with a real product in a burgeoning industry. I think you will come away impressed.
Doesn't seem to be a lot of shares for sale down here. Nice to see the market makers doing their job creating a fair and orderly market. LOL
True it has been a long time in revenue coming. There is no problem with management. Mark Bradley has more integrity than most I have ever met. 12 yr old company with an OS of 60mm is not a company that has diluted itself for the sake of lining pockets. The only bad thing you could say about him is sometimes he is to trusting and gives people the benefit of the doubt.
Revenue really is a matter of technology catching up with the business model. The way to monetize these ideas have been in the process of being developed over the last 5 years (VOD, dynamic ad insertion etc,). PNTV saw the opportunity and took a big risk in building the infrastructure out first. This next year will tell if you are right or I am right.
Kezzek,
Read the following from Mr. Root.
Wayne Allyn Root said, "I am honored to become the first Players Ambassador. I have a unique following in four diverse worlds- sports, gaming, business and politics. Players is giving me the opportunity to harness the high-tech future of 'networking meets entertainment' for a large Wayne Root fan base. I look forward to many years of success together."
He is great for the PNTV business model! He is renowned not only in the Vegas world but as you said politics, as well as the sports and business worlds. This gives PNTV 4 areas of niche programing to create channels to reach a multitude of viewers from a cross section of society. So instead of one channel we get 4 from one ambassador reaching very different and lucrative demographics. Nice way to start the programing.
What if he does make a direct investment? Would you change your tune? Would you then see it as a positive.
I feel your pain. I have been a Bills fan since 1978. Been a west coaster in some form or another for the last 20 yrs. Last 10 in Monterey. I see clients up in the city once or twice a month. Love that town. When PNTV reaches it's full potential I might have to get a place up there.
I was up in the city last night in Potrero Hill. Wasn't at the game but could see the stadium from the house. Electric environment in the city. HAve fun and Go Giants!
I really like the fact that a man of his level of success and expertise stepped up and put that much into the open market. Speaks volumes as to where he believes this is going.
You are going to pull a muscle stretching like that.
This is what has been one of PNTVs greatest assets. Bradley has the ability to attract talent and forge relationships. After people take the time to meet the man they get the plan and trust in the person implementing it. There is a reason this company has been around for 12 yrs.
Wouldn't you? 6mm shares is not a head fake. Invest in the company directly and ensure your investment. Granted I am not a business man but that would seem like smart business to me.
Gratzie
Go to Vegas, tour the facility and take a taste your self. By the way do you know today's short numbers?
FLD is just the icing on the cake. And this is one yummy cake!
Does anyone have the short numbers? Vet it's over 50%.
GM. Go back and read MediaGuys posts. Very informative.
That goes for everyone. Anyone can call him during business hours with any questions. Very communicative CEO if you are willing to make the effort.
Thanks. Didn't think so.
Can anyone advise me. I am heading to CO and need to get a subscription to Stockcharts. I want to add the real time data I would think but do I really want Market message with John Murphy?
Thanks for the help and yes, this is moving up nicely on small volume.
Thanks!
GM All,
I'll be heading to CO! I am new to the Den but a LONG time share holder of PNTV. Maybe even one of the first 5 outside of the principles.
2 questions: I am trying to get in touch with Mel but I can't send PM on Ihub. Anyone with a working email for Mel or can someone ask her to PM me with a working email?
Second is the Chicago Monkinar an advanced or a basic?
Can't wait for this class. I'm no rocket scientist but I look at patterns in the body to assist the healing of pain and injury for a living and I think that skill will transfer to charts. TIA for everyone here. Seems like a nice family.
Hello Sir,
Can't wait! Feel like a brand new day is on the horizon. Will see you on my way out.
Once again I get to say Good thing this is more than just a FLD. 12 yrs public. Technology and Business model aligning perfectly.
Share registration. "Dilution is not necessarily a 4 letter word." 60 mm shares over 12 yrs for a OTC company. Pretty low, even to this newbie investor. Judicious use of shares to create a winning company.
If you knew how "small" the CEO lives you would see how all money is put into the company.
I am here because it is more than an FLD.
I love Red Heads!! You guys have fun in Atlanta. I am heading to GJ two weeks after.
GM MG, getting psyched for Hotlanta?!! I am going to Grand. Junction. Coming through Vegas then driving up.
Fair, it does not paint the rosiest picture BUT for 12 years it hasn't either and still the company keeps on doing business. They continue to grow and sign deals. Fortunately investing is an art. Propper DD, investigation and the ability to have vision are what make men rich. IF they take the time to look and don't buy the fear.
FOR EXAMPLE:
PNTV continues to get amazing content (Jessie James and Michele "Bombshell" McGee). They continue to grow distribution (Greece). They have been the highest viewed independent VOD station on Comcast. They are contracted under 58 million homes. The infrastructure has been set. The technology and the business model are converging. 2011 will see their ability to monetize everything they have been building.
As for dilution, you use that word to create fear. In the penny world dilution is a 4 letter word. Companies become public so they can raise money to start and fund their companies, that is called dilution. That is why RESPONSIBLE is key. Shares aren't being dumped, if needed they are being strategically placed into strong hands as 144 restricted stock with the money being used to implement their business plan. I have been one of those hands for many years. You would know this if you called the company.
Anyone else for that matter, call the CEO with any questions, don't hesitate. He is happy to speak with shareholders. There are many great things going on. If you care, call. GLTYA
