Really? Morning changed their name?
I will say this. I think it is petty to edit your posts after someone has already responded. That is too much like goal changing. And that doesn’t help the argument.
I don’t think anyone is asking him to. And to say that anyone is alone at this point is to vastly underestimate the structure that has been built up to this point.
Well you don’t know what tools he has been given, or what advances have been made. 3 years and 20 locations seems fair.
Something else to consider, distribution in US may be a lot bigger than distribution in Canada.... if that is so, we will see a very nice jump once the American locations kick in.
20 Snakes in 3 years?
Ok let’s work with that. 3 Snakes have produced so far $11 mill, with one quarter to go. Let’s say that the next Q does another 3 mill. It could be more, hopefully it isn’t less. But let’s say it’s 3 mill, and that we end the year with $14 mill all in all. Thats with 3 locations.
20/3= 6.666. 6.666x $14,000,000 is $93,333,333. That’s not too bad is it? And that is assuming that the numbers stay the same.... what happens if we continue to see more growth?
When it shows results, it will matter. Until it does, I have to recognize that what we have is Snakes.
There is a difference between telling people not to invest in this stock because it only has Snakes and not GROZONE,
And telling people to invest in this stock BECAUSE it has Snakes.
Let’s assume the worst. We don’t know anything about GRO3. All their systems could be collecting dust for all we know.
Again, why does it matter when Snakes is doing so well? Why must we focus on the negatives instead of talking about the positives? I totally get that we have to listen to both sides of the coin, but if we are realist, Snakes is the ONLY side of the coin. NSI, and IK are also producing, but not at a comparable scale.
So again, why does it matter that GRO3 is not doing well or for that matter not doing anything at all? As investors we should focus on what we can see. From GRO3 I see nothing but promises. IF/WHEN those promises materialize, THEN I may choose to invest more because of GRO3.
At the moment, the ONLY thing that has produced results is Snakes. Why should we focus on anything else?
Why does it matter that GRO3 is not doing anything if Snakes is doing so well?
You know, I first heard of this stock when it was .06. I had never invested anything before, and I was interested in investing in Pinks because those were stocks I could easily afford, and I wanted to follow the basic principle: “but low, sell high”.
Even though I had never invested in Pinks before, I knew many of the horror stories. How so many companies turned out to be scams. I was very fearful of leaving my money in any of these stocks for any length of time.
When I found AMFE, what first struck to me was the fact that the store actually existed. I could visit the stores whenever I wanted. I thought this was too good to be true. I wrote an email to the owner of S&L just to make sure that S&L was actually owned by Amfil. Turns out he answered in the affirmative.
I believe in the potential of Snakes. Yes, potential. The double edged word. It’s funny because any investor who chooses to invest in any company seriously, does so because he believes in the potential of that company to succeed. Then again, so many companies harp so much on their “potential” that the word often becomes a red flag for scams. So which is it.
The former. Snakes has true potential. The writing is everywhere to see. First there was 1 store, now there are 3, with a 4th one on the way and rumors of many more to come up.
First we didn’t own any publishing companies, now we own one.
First we had no exclusivity deals, now the list is large and growing.
Notice I am only talking about Snakes. That’s because I am invested mostly in Snakes. That is where the results have been showing. I don’t know how to value stocks, but I think that Snakes alone will eventually become a billion dollar company. Will that be tomorrow? No. Will that be next year? I don’t know. Probably not. But it will happen. How do I know?
The concept is just too good. Notice how we have grown. This is not potential now, but a certain thing that has already happened. The growth that we had in the past allowed our distribution side to grow as well.
Notice again how things seem to point for further growth in retail spaces. This future growth will also push the distribution growth as well.
Notice how Snakes is laying the foundation for publishing. We now have a team dedicated to only making games. They will have great synergy with the retail locations as they can participate in the designer nights which will give them a lot of very important data. The value of this data can not be understated:
1) They now have the ability to test if a game is going to be good or bad before they release it to the market.
This will represent huge savings to the company as they will not publish a game that will be badly received, because they will know beforehand if it is going to be badly received.
2) They now have the ability to test, during development if the games are accepted, good, bad etc. This means that Morning will probably start releasing quality games one after another.
Do you have any idea what this means for the brand? To give you an idea of the importance of this I will draw a parallel with Nintendo. During the 80s The video game industry was a wreck. Every company made glitchy games, sometimes unplayable, and threw them to the market, just to sell them and make money. Not Nintendo. To release a game in their system, it had to have Nintendo’s seal of quality. It’s not that every game that had this seal was a masterpiece, it meant that the games that had that seal were better made. It got to the point that parents knew to look for that seal when buying games. Something similar will happen to Morning. They will consistently create games of high value, because they are owned by a company that collects extremely valuable data as part of their day to day business. As they release more valuable games, I am willing to believe that the initial 6 man team will eventually grow. A larger team means more games can be worked on at once, each using the same valuable data. This initial year will be one of transition, but next year I suspect that we will see some growth within Morning. Maybe 2-5 new people. Maybe more. Watch out for the growth of Morning, when you see that you will know why it is.
I know that the stock price is not pretty, but I continue to believe in the concept of Snakes.
Maybe. Who knows? Maybe he wanted to post it now lol.
We will probably see the signs of the stock bottoming once people start coming around lol
I don’t take it that way at all. If anything this means that Roger isn’t the only one to do this mistake, which makes it more understandable. Kinda like when a teacher gives an exam and many students fail which causes the teacher to re do the exam.
I wonder what % of games sold actually goes to S&L. Are they paid per individual game? Or per order?

New Numbers Reveal the Marijuana Industry Boom Has Only Just Begun
The marijuana industry has continued its explosive growth in 2018, and a new report has quantified just how explosive.
Sales of legal marijuana in the United States could hit $10 billion this year and skyrocket to $22 billion by 2022, according to the 2018 Marijuana Business Factbook released by Marijuana Business Daily. That’s big growth year-over-year, with last year’s figure for both recreational and medical marijuana hitting about $6.2 billion.
Here are some of the factors driving projections.
California Gold
Of course, California. The legal recreational marijuana market launched in the Golden State in January of this year. The massive market is expected to help drive nationwide sales of recreational marijuana alone from about $2.7 billion in 2017 to between $4 billion to $5 billion in 2018.

Nevada and Massachusetts
Nevada came out of the gates fast last year. After voters approved legal recreational cannabis sales in Nevada in November 2016, the state moved faster than any other in getting a recreational marijuana market in place. Sales launched in July 2017. The state already has sold more than $304 million in adult-use marijuana, with $41 million sold in March 2018 alone. Those numbers are above the original projections. Nevada already has raked in almost $49 million in marijuana taxes.
Waiting in the wings is Massachusetts, where legal adult-use marijuana sales are expected to launch in July.
And voters in Michigan are expected to consider legalization on this fall’s ballot. There’s also a wave building to legalize adult-use in New York, and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy also supports legal adult-use marijuana there.
Continued Growth in Colorado, Washington
Voters in Colorado and Washington got the legal marijuana train rolling years ago, but the states continue to increase revenue. Sales in the two states - which the report said have finally come close to plateauing - will “easily eclipse” a combined $2 billion.

Medical Marijuana
The market for medical marijuana also continues to grow. Large population states including Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland have expanded the conditions under which medical marijuana can be used. New Mexico and Arizona also have medical marijuana markets that continue to grow, according the report.
All this adds up to medical marijuana sales coming in at a projected $3.7 billion to $4.5 billion, up from between $3.1 billion to $3.7 billion in 2017. Where does all this lead? The projects from the Factbook call for the following total marijuana sales numbers over the next five years:
2019: $10.5 to $12.8 billion
2020: $12.1 to $14.9 billion
2021: $14.7 billion to $18.1 billion
2022: $18 billion to $22.1 billion
That’s enough to make an entrepreneur stand up and take notice. However, there are many uncertainties about marijuana, including what future states will legalize cannabis and what actions might be taken by the federal government on legal adult-use marijuana sales.
You made me look *cries silently *
I don’t know about you, but a polished website tells a message in itself. If they thought GRO3 was not going to produce anything, or if they thought that it had already reached the limit of what it would produce, would they continue to invest in the product?
I’ll answer my own question with a “no”. Leadership knows something we don’t, and I’m guessing it’s something good. Otherwise, common sense tells us they would try to put things under the rug and forget it even existed.
Well, they do say that common sense is the least common of the senses right?
And what does Roger run? Amfil. What does Amfil own? A bunch on things now, amongst them S&L and GROZONE.
What don’t you understand?
Asides from Ben’s accomplishments, we’ve got a CEO who AT THE VERY LEAST knows what companies are a good buy. Can we agree on that?
Still don’t see why you group Ambrose and Roger together and do not group Ben and Roger together as well. That doesn’t make any logical sense.
I am definitely looking to get more certifications, but now I would like to look for a job where I can get some experience first
Yes! Thanks!!
In something completely unrelated to anything: I AM OFFICIALLY A CERTIFIED SCRUM MASTER
Those things haven’t happened yet, and that is true, but many things hinted at have happened. So you will recognize one but will ignore the other? If I may borrow a phrase of yours... “COME ON! Perspective please!”
You are judging him by the things he has promised and you have not seen.
If he was only full of promises and no results to show for it, your argument would ring true. But he has shown results. Are they all the results I want to see? Of course not! Of course I expect to see much more of the company! That’s why I am invested here! Because I believe that this company will grow tremendously!
I think we are not reading the same things.
I’m sorry, let me try to explain my point a little more clearly. Perhaps this is my fault.
I believe that you do not hold Roger accountable for S&L’s success.
But
You do hold him accountable for buying the company.
I believe there is a contradiction there.
If Roger had not bought the company, the success they are experimenting right now simply would not have been possible. Therefore Roger must be responsible for part of that growth as well.
Does this imply that Roger is the guy closing all the deals? No! Of course not! But then again, Ben technically isn’t either. Ben hired someone to work for the sales team. So do I say that Ben is not responsible for the growth of the company because he did not personally close the deals either? That doesn’t make sense does it?
At he end of the day, Amfil technologies is a team. And as a team, their goal is the success of the company. They have to work collaboratively in order to reach that success. And when they do, they are ALL responsible for that success, and they should ALL be allowed to celebrate in that success.
Roger did a GREAT decision when he bought S&L. He also made another GREAT decision when he allowed Ben to stay when he could have very well kicked him out. Now those decisions are bearing fruit. Now we see that he was right in making those decisions. But now you want us to separate Roger from S&L as if he hadn’t had anything to do with it at all? That doesn’t make sense.
Uhh what?
They have only been “hinting” at stuff?
Is Midtown now only a “hint”?
Is Tempe (Official entry to the worlds LARGEST market) only a “hint”?
NSI and Morning now qualify as “hints”?
What?
So...without him, the success of S&L would not have been possible, but he is not responsible for that success? Is that how it is?
So you are saying that Roger can’t be held responsible of the success of S&L even though he is responsible from saving the company from bankruptcy and maintaining the leadership intact?
I am not making claims that either one of them is solely responsible for anything.
The only fact that we have is that S&L once had money troubles and Roger took that chance to place an offer to buy them. Ben apparently liked that offer because he accepted it. Now S&L is kicking a$$.
You do know that S&L was on the brink of bankruptcy once as well right? Is that also worthless?
I don’t get the hate against Roger. He bought S&L, when they were in dire straights. If S&L hadn’t been bought when it did, it probably wouldn’t exist right now.
After he bought it, he let Ben continue to run it, because he understood that Ben knew the board game business better than he did.
Who is responsible for that deal? They both are. Why would anyone dispute that? Doesn’t make sense.
I want whatever you are smoking
Breathe Rocket. I say Morning is definitely in a greater position to grow now than it was in the past.
I’d like a PR detailing what are AMFIL’s plans for this company. How are they going to put them to use? Like, do they have a strategic vision they would like to share with us?
I can totally understand how important this acquisition actually is. Maybe Snakes can hire new designers and add them to the team? Now that Morning doesn’t have to worry about anything other than making games, how quickly can they make them? I really wanna see how Snakes uses their testing strengths to help Morning make better games.
I think the major importance of this acquisition is not even any of their current titles, but the fact that they are designers and can come up with future games.
I fully expect Morning (or at least some representation of them) to participate in the designer nights going forward.
They don’t have to have one money making game right now, but Snakes can definitely help them make many money making games in the future.
Ok, and you think the best way to keep Roger’s toes in the fire is by wearing thin the patience of the investors?
Why don’t you write directly to him instead?
Longs understand all of these reasons. NOBODY is saying that the audits are not important. EVERYONE is crazy hopeful that the audits will be posted as quickly as possible. PRECISELY because of all the reasons you mentioned.
The thing is that we also understand that the posting of the audits is NOT under our control. The only thing we can do is wait until they are posted. So, what should we do WHILE we wait?
We can either bash the stock, praise it, or keep quiet. If we bash the stock we MIGHT scare other investors away, thereby hurting the PPS. If we praise the stock we MIGHT bring more investors here which will HELP the PPS, or we could keep quiet which will do nothing.
I think that the logical position would be to recognize that the audits are missing but not bash the stock because of it, especially when there is so much that can be praised in the company.
That’s curious, because what worries me is that people who claim to be long in this board seem to be doing their very best to damage their own investment
You just recognized that you don’t know anything about the audits, and you are still questioning the process?
Yes it’s taking long, but bear in mind that it is ONLY taking long because Roger thought it would be over by now and he made us think that as well. THAT is the only reason why this audit is such a big deal. If he had not mentioned the audit at all, we would all be ecstatic at all the things that were going on.
Just remember that it would be stupid of me to assume I can do your job better than you can.
Your auditor friends might know what they are talking about, but do they have access to the material that is being audited?
If they don’t, their opinions are only a little bit more valuable than mine....but not much. Why? Because unless they have direct access to the material that is being audited, they can not be able to form any valuable opinion on it either.
It would be like explaining:
X {[+] [-][x][/]} X= 1,234,383.103382
Solve for X. Where there is only 1 specific correct answer
They might be able to understand the formula or the process, but without more information there is nothing more than they can do.
