Bag holders support group from 4 years ago. long running scam
Looks like same crap, different year.
Ok longs. Let's see what you're made of. Break open the piggy bank, raid the kids college fund, sell your car and buy buy buy! If you don't buy and buy big tomorrow, you don't BELIEVE IN STEVE! So let's start a rally and move that share price enough for me to cover my fees and get out of this turkey!
Same boat. Larger position than prudent already. (for me) Can't buy without increasing cost basis. On the other hand, when will I get another chance to get this large of a position in a private equity firm with this kind of juice at this price? So every downward bump gets me thinking about drying some powder.
Don't get excited at all. This stock is still done. A massive R/S with an almost wipeout of cap. They are limiting liability. What this means is you had a boatload of crap and now you have a pocketful of crap. And zero market for crap. The difference is, you can put crap on something and it might grow.
They won't be back. And you are the last person I would trust. You have fundamental inadequacies in your investment strategies. Your "beliefs", and "feelings", are not valid investment strategies. Good luck to you.
I can't tell if you're really this thick or you're taking the piss.
I'll slog on anyway. I'll rephrase it. The awesome and super true China deal makes zero difference. The anniversary cars, the police car, the trailer, the PR, Amy Boylan. All of it is inconsequential. The only factors at play here are the numbers. And you've already ignored all that.
Let me ask you this. I'm really looking forward to your answer. Even if it were possible, why would Saleen spend the money required to get current and relisted? If the China deal is true and Saleen is back in business, why would he cut you in when he can walk away? It's a pinky. Nobody is going to investigate this. Suing is super expensive and ineffective. Face it, he's going to get away with it.
Your comprehension seems be lacking. I'm a pre-internet investor. I've been doing this since 1985. I had to get prices from the paper. I had to call and wait for financials. I had to use a broker who would always argue with me. I had to do my own math. Is that clearer?
I have been physically to the building many times and so has my brother. Have you? Two years ago that facility was EMPTY. It was empty last March except for some partially built lifts. No tools, air hoses, diagnostics, fluid carts. Nothing you would need to build that police car. So I ask you, who built it and where?
There were some astute and knowledgeable contributors to this thread that have been sounding the alarm and patiently explaining why the China nonsense, the police car, those ugly anniversary cars and all the other PR is defenseless against the sheer weight of the available math.
I understand not wanting to let go and hope. But in this case, it's over. You own stock in a private company. There is no market for it.
In fact, if you were holding anything over .0003 your stock has been worthless for quite a while.
I continue to monitor this thread because I'd like to see some action from the folks that claim they lost 10k, 30K. And because the BS that gets slinged around here amuses me.
Yes you can. And you should. I do it all the time. I'm pre internet. The only way to get fins was to call. In fact, I've been lied to twice in phone calls to Saleen. Both times I knew she was lying. I was told two years ago they were building cars when they were not. I also called Red McCombs dealership in Texas and another one in Maryland.
Companies with complete financials and current filings will direct you to their website and most don't have a dedicated investment relations person anymore but OTC stocks are different.
With OTC stocks if you are not making calls and checking addresses, you're not doing proper DD. I need to see the product or service in action.
For doing math. They don't like math. A premium GT is 36k. They want 53k for the White Label at Tasca Ford. And that's on sale. It's the first time I've seen any specs and I had some questions. It wasn't just me. It doesn't add up. One guy pointed out he could buy all the parts from Saleen, have it all installed at his local shop and probably have more than 10k left over.
I've been banned from the Saleen Facebook page. Cowards.
And where are all those guys? The China deal guys, the Artega guys? Where'd they go? Surely this is just a bump in the road? We'll be back on track and ready to explode soon? GO SLNN!!!
Well said. I lost 35 bucks. And I knew I was going to lose it. A long time ago. Pretty fun stock to follow. I'll be in Corona on Thursday. I'll pop in.
This an article about the anniversary Saleen dated Jun 12 2017 with an artist rendering. MAXIM
These are photos my brother took that I uploaded to youtube on Jun 19th and were taken on the 15th. Look at the last photo. where is it? There is clearly no work being done. It's a big garage.
This is an article on the unveil dated July 12. I'm not sure when it was.
looks shady to me
My first question is, where are those cars? PR comes out on the 12th of June. Let's suppose they start then. Clearly, no work is being done on, or near June 15. Which means they built two cars, one of them a race car in a couple of weeks with no employees I've ever seen, no equipment, and no freakin tools! Or, they were built somewhere else.
Which leads me to your pictures. Where did they come from? When were they taken?
I hope that is not the case. I fear it is. I hate the idea of Steve walking away with millions. Even though I lost about a six pack of decent beer, it still bugs me.
I've had problems with the backdoor float from the beginning. It didn't make sense. Who would do that? I have another scenario percolating but I'm not willing to share it yet. It involves, Amy, the float and the recent production and PR. You can probably figure it out.
I do follow them on Facebook. And I've been to the facility three times. I've seen it with my own eyes three times. My brother has as well. Cars have been built, but there is zero evidence they were built at Saleen. No welding, fabrication, TOOLBOXES, air units, fuel and oil dispensers. Stuff you need to build cars. Don't you think they'd take pictures of the build? I would want pictures of my build.
The only S7 picture I've seen on FB is a shot of a body that was from years ago and you know that because you've already been refuted on this right?. IF there was an S7 in production, don't you think they would PR the bajeezus out it? They put out PR about their state of the art facility when in reality it was some partially constructed Danmaar lifts. Which by the way are not commercial quality lifts. You can buy them at Walmart. Really.
As for the China deal, that's been done to death on these boards and I won't argue that nonsense.
I believe the evidence will prove otherwise. A lot of it perpetuated by members of this board. There is no evidence of an S7 in any stage of production. There is no evidence anybody has been hired. No evidence of cars being produced at the Saleen facility.
The China thing is what will hang Steve. That sold more paper than anything.
SLNN suspension
It's not just filing. They are being investigated for a myriad of offences.
Stick a fork in it.
What are you talking about? SLNN sold 56 bucks worth of sunshine and dreams on Friday.
Are you saying the pictures I posted are fake? And now I need video? I have absolutely no reason to lie. I own stock. But them's the facts Jack. I calls 'em like I see 'em. And again, none of that matters. The math is profound and undeniable.
I've been patient. I've owned this turkey for a long time. And I've given Saleen the benefit of every doubt. I read all the PR about Tesla's and S7's and they have yet to materialize. I've been to the company HQ on multiple occasions and have walked freely through the complex without encountering a soul. I don't know where they were building the cars, maybe Tasca, but in June, it wasn't the "state of the art" facility at Saleen.
It absolutely does say Grey Market on TDA.
Old news but still. Saleen sues
Interesting article on the weird history of the Saleen S7
With zero volume today at .0002 nobody is buying this. I hear the fat lady warming up.
Except that these are the same guys that failed to monetize a great product and leveraged the company into insolvency.
They made and continue to make flywheel USB solutions under the name Piller Power. A great product with a smaller footprint, longer run time, doesn't need replacing and environmentally friendly. In my opinion, Langley made out like a bandit and bought the company when they ran out of credit and capital. Active Power simply couldn't get deals done. I'm very aware that this is the same group. I'm somewhat more confident given the team's behavior in recent months. I'd already planned on writhing this off so I'm pretty pleased there might be an opportunity to make some money.
I'm glad I kept the company. I've learned a lot. I'm still unclear on how the NOL's work in this context. It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out.
The new phone book is here!
You own a small, bloated company with little cash and huge debt that makes a product you can make with available parts and expertise in your own garage. You can even buy the same lift everybody is so excited about from Best Buy.
This is a bolt on tuner at best. And there are a ton of them within spittin' distance of any metro. It's a niche market within a declining niche market. Everybody in their 50's that wants one, has a muscle car. The 22% increase of 2014/15 maxed out that market.
If Saleen has sold rights, licenses, proprietary processes or information for the sole benefit of Steve, I have a problem with that.
As I've said before, I've been there on several occasions and posted pictures. I have never seen any activity at all. I do not believe they have produced any of the cars that have been marketed lately in the Corona facility. The demand is very low at one a month, less the promo builds.
The China thing has yet to be seen and I'm skeptical and suspicious. The S7 is even farther down the theoretical pipeline.
ACPW at 1.26. 90+% loss at times. Bought down to .49 and if this goes, will be my best comeback by leaps and bounds.
I'm long. I expected downward pressure at .5 and I did not anticipate an announcement. It's taken me longer to buy a house. I welcome a price drop. I'll load. I see ceilings throughout. Breaking a buck will be the key.
Good point. Not such a good job of driving the boat last time out.
Only 10m to go! Somebody bought 1.1 at .0005 after the 100 share paint. Nice!
If this gains a decimal point, I'll eat my hat. It will be a hat made entirely of bacon and there might be a small celebratory dance involved.
Yes they do. 8 of them. Three look like they are complete however I have not seen a car actually lifted. 5 of the lifts look to me to be incomplete and missing the control unit.
Those are from 2014.
I have no idea. I took those photos on Friday, June 16th at about 2:00P. Maybe they bought the tools, installed the compressors, hired the expertise and built the cars in the last three weeks.

Recent Saleen garage photos
These photos were taken about 5 days before they announced their state of the art new facility and posted pictures of the shop with a bunch of Mustangs getting "worked" on. My photo shows the empty and certainly not state of the art large building with 8 Dannmar lifts, a couple of cars and a large trash can. What my photo has in common with theirs is the lack of tools. Saleens pictures look staged to me. When compared with Shelby's shop or JBA or my local mechanic down the street, Saleen seems bereft of the implements required to modify cars.
Forgive me if this is a dumb question. Is there any chance Piller Power might be involved?
Who said anything about a fake company? It's most certainly a real company. A debt ridden anemic company, but real.
Saleen Pictures I'm just reporting what I've seen. I've been there several times. It's not a bustling enterprise. Saleen photos 06-16-2017
