righty, i am very wary..
of posters credibility. i would just like to be able to read a fair and honest board.

that was his opinion. but since it was deleted, i guess i cannot verify that, but i think he said, "seems to be..." not IS.
i don't know why that was deleted since it did not seem to be a violation.

ok, maybe that was not the real name.....

unless you got this information from the NASD or the DTC, you might not be right, and your post may deceive some here, just as you are insinuating others are doing.
A poster named "TD2As" went through the steps herself to find out and has her answer, and even if i believe and trust her, i would still call the appropriate authorities to find out about my OWN investment, in lieu of just believing an anomynous poster.
So, you may be correct, and I may agree with you, but unless you contacted the correct people, you cannot state that emphatically.
just my 2 cents.
Is there a Biography....
For Mr. Skolnik?

OT: nonstock...here is a suggestion
there is a book that chronicles a poker players life, called "Shut Up and Deal" by, Jesse May.
It is an odd book that has a "gritty poker room" feel, that outlines a segment in time of Jesse playing at Foxwoods in CT, down in AC, and in various other poker rooms.
After I read that bood, i wanted to pick a segment of time in my life and tell the story with all the nasty details included. I would read that book to give you an example of the depth that you can get into.

good luck tpower.....
yes, if a company wants to grow, it has to grow....
"there are known knowns, known unknowns, and unknown unknowns"~~~> i believe EQBM is a known unknown....
in the words of rummy...
hey, thanks for the response.
i was just posting my thought like others on the board.
i did not label it a bad investment. in fact, i think if you catch it right, you can make money in the short term. unless this company gets some news like PTSC did a while back, where they actually bought a patent and enforced it, having Canon, Sony, and others to pay up, i believe NOW that any move up will be temporary, and I think it will happen fast when it does.
REAL, verifiable news is the key. if EQBM does not provide that, not many will take it seriously.
I don't think i said anything wrong....I merely stated an opinion based on many other pink sheet stocks i take interest in, watch, and sometimes invest on.
Thanks, Dan
good intro hdsmonkey.
the short squeeze is real in some stocks and a falsehood in others. it is up to each individual investor to try to read the tea leaves.
i have not looked at your profile, but if you have been on these boards for more than 6-8 months, and spent quality time on some active stock-specific boards, you will see that the topics discussed are quite similar from board to board. For instance...
"this short squeeze is going to hurt the shorts, big time!"
"don't sell until you see .20!"
".20?!, i'm waiting for a buck!"
"i don't know why this stock is going down with such a great PR..."
etc.
Happens a great deal.
then there is the proverbial...
"bashers don't bash a bad stock..."
and
"you must be part of the A-team....right on time." ~~>yep, heard this a few times...nothing new here.
So, with EQBM, you have to take it for what it is worth. And that is, it could be a good short term play. IMO. Why?, because at this very moment, this board claims to hold most, if not all of the float. IF the short squeeze comes, they will make a great deal of money. But in order to take that money as profit, they will have to sell. and sell, shareholders will do. Isn't that why they bought in the first place?
Can you imagine the forced cover from the shorts driving the price up so high that about 20 people on this board could be millionaires? seriously, if the numbers are accurate, and no dilution from management was taking place, a simple PR could move the stock to .50, as the CEO once pondered the price to be. instant millionaires in 5 months. too good to be true?
So, good luck, welcome to the board, and as always, invest wisely.
Dan
lady, the board over there...
must be going nuts. i will have to see the news over there.
The consensus is that...in order to get the dividend that they qualify for if they own on Dec. 1st (record date), they will have to hold until Dec. 18,(the day after the pay date)...even though a poster "TD2As", called the SEC, NASD and DTC to confirm the requirements for the dividend. The DTC finally gave a firm answer that they only needed to hold until the Record Date. OF course, those over on that board, that did not do the DD to get the requirements for the Dividend merely say, "the only way to be sure to get the dividend is to buy by November 28th, and hold until after December 18th." Well that may be true, but if the stock is tanking (which i hope it does not) wouldn't you want to know if you can sell before the pay date, AND still get the dividend?
it is crazy. Anyway, they are all good people over there, and I hope they do well.
Dan
it did not come through...
use www.tinyurl.com
big...was this a PR? eom
good move...
always good to take a profit....
yes, saw your post....
thanks for the heads up
we have movement again...
Momo players pushing it up?
i told someone that i would not post...
but i would just suggest that everyone not speculate on the divy date because you don't want to lose it. Therefore, to be sure, i would call your broker and the NASD to be sure about when you can sell. don't go off what another poster says.

Generally when a divvy is "Will not be quoted Ex." the record date or the day after it is the effective ex dividend date.
To confirm which date is correct I would call NASD.
I've talked to Brian at NASD Customer Complaints a few times 240-386-5105. If it's not his dept he can pass you on to the appropriate people.
Or I would call the SEC's Office of Investor Education and Assistance.
Sorry I don't have the direct line handy at the moment but calling this number I'm sure will get you directed to the right place.
202-551-3500
OK....EQBM is my pick..
the rumors are that to get the dividend as PR'ed recently, you must hold until the day AFTER the PAY DATE. i feel this may drive that price way up because there will be limited selling, in theory, and ....if the evil shorters are out there, they might sell? ...well this is the speculation on the board over there.
currently, the price at close on dec. 1st is .015.
what a joke!..lol
they have nothing better to do than to check out this board?!

from the 11/13/06 filing...

outstanding share count is:
"213,438,058 shares are issued and outstanding"
but there are additional shares available for conversion from debt to shares.
RegD filings all over this one.....they are currently losing money rapidly, and if they do not start selling goods and get their infomercials up and running, i don't know how much longer they can continue as a going concern. This is not just my opinion, but it is in their latest 10QSB.

Mention what?
I forgot already.
Anyway. I thought that you were helping the victims here bark up the trees. I was under the assumption that you had already helped some peeps out (that does not include Serf).
Therefore, I would like to continue to help YOU help THEM.
Ya know?
Tell me what trees you are barking up. You know that email is a huge piece of meat (as is the follow-up call with RKD), as is all of the calls to Serf.
But, definitely, THAT EMAIL changes things greatly.
Why do you think that Serf has such a problem with accepting this email NOW when he claimed to accept it before?
E
------------------------------------------
in these posts from Raging Bull, he was indicating to me that he knows who I am, and where I work. He is trying to intimidate me to give information about an Email from the CEO that may indicate a naked short seller, and WHO that exactly was.
Just some information to those that have not experienced a real "professional basher"
Dan
Since I am the topic of many posts...
from last night....
I want to address them all in this post:
I don't mind being called a basher, idiot, cockroach, weak, etc., but I do not like my words being misrepresented.
1. When did I post FALSE information? and, if I posted something that was false (such as the dividend EX date), didn't I correct it?
2. Did I ever represent myself as one that will hold to the bitter end? I remember the first question I received from "couch" was about my trading style, and I was honest. I tend to buy shares in blocs and average down, then sell to get my seed money back. But I watch and watch closely, and if I feel that the risk has overtaken the reward, I look for the exit. So, in the case of my SPECIFIC trading on this one, I sold for a 50% loss, then rebought on the first day of the "PR blitz", only to sell for a 95% gain on November 21st, during the run-up to .020....i sold at .015. I am currently down about $250.00..............and i am taking my loss "like a man" as righty told me to do. Now, since i made +/-1700.00 on the money i pulled out of EQBM the first time, I have been "taking it like a man". I am currently watching still to see if the opportunity arrises to "flip" again. Is that bad? I did not think I would be flipping this, but with my past experiences, I do not believe I should be in this stock for more than a week.
3. I PM's righty and JR last night, because there were posts directed toward me that were becoming disruptive to the board, and I did not want to reply publicly, rather contact the poster's issues directly, off-board...from the TOU Refresher~~~>
Off-topic: Any off-topic discussion is a violation of TOU. If your post is not about the stock for the board you're posting to, do not post it. Use email, private message, or post it to a board where it is on-topic.
4. If I am not welcome on your computer screen, Ignore me. But I will use my I-HUB subscription to its fullest, including visiting and posting on any and all boards that I have interest in, respectfully.
5. And this is a big one.....did anyone catch the SEC game last night? Do you feel Michigan or Florida should play in the National Title Game?
Thank you. It is NEVER my intent to offend shareholders in a stock. It has happened to me by someone I deemed a prefessional basher, and I was so darn angry reading his/her posts. I did not enjoy having my personal life invaded by this professional basher, including searches into my life, place of employment, the university I went to, and my and my bosses full name being displayed on a public messageboard, simply because i owned a stock and talked highly about it's prospects. Since I never gave out my information, this pro basher would collect posts of mine, and use my email to gather info about me, and try to intimidate me by displaying personal info about me on these boards. I was not intimidated in the least, but I did not enjoy this prying into my life. Did that ever happen to you?
Dan
Go EQBM. should be a good week...
coming.
I seems that the Frankfurt trading for SOMA should commense this week and perhaps a PR coming Monday, as indicated by some of the correspondence with management.
Dan
that is fine JR...
but i am not pizzing, moaning, or throwing rocks. i am just discussing the company, posts made that indicate what the CEO said, and the movement of the stock.
That is all.
I am here to talk stocks.
EQBM my fly! i hope it does. and i will be here to see it.
attacking me?
i understood your disclaimer clearly.
still..
not smart.
Dan
sure....LoL..
by the way...i am sweating this Arkansas/Florida game..
Go GATORS!
JR, i think that is too easy for...
the CEO to throw around. OF COURSE 100 MILL SHARES AT .50 SOUNDS GOOD!! but lets not get everyone's hopes up...especially when the CEO says it, it should almost be expected now.
not smart.
Dan
quick answer....no.
all speculation...good point...thank you for clarifying.
thanks Jim...
according to the SEC.....the trading day after the PAY DATE is when you would have to hold until, in this case. i find that crazy...but it is what it is.
thanks for responding.
Dan
Ok...i think..
BigDogs or sklein posted this before but i did not pay attention.....
but i think it got through my thick skull..
PatiencePays seems right..
from SEC.gov
http://www.sec.gov/answers/dividen.htm
Sometimes a company pays a dividend in the form of stock rather than cash. The stock dividend may be additional shares in the company or in a subsidiary being spun off. The procedures for stock dividends may be different from cash dividends. The ex-dividend date is set the first business day after the stock dividend is paid (and is also after the record date).
If you sell your stock before the ex-dividend date, you also are selling away your right to the stock dividend. Your sale includes an obligation to deliver any shares acquired as a result of the dividend to the buyer of your shares, since the seller will receive an I.O.U. or "due bill" from his or her broker for the additional shares. Thus, it is important to remember that the day you can sell your shares without being obligated to deliver the additional shares is not the first business day after the record date, but usually is the first business day after the stock dividend is paid.
So, it sounds as though you can sell the day AFTER the stock is PAID.
my fault. sorry for the confusion....patiencepays0 is right...we can put it to rest.
Dan
