Yea its time to change the monetary system again IMHO. It was changed in 1971 its 40 years are up and historically its time to usher out with the old. Ask anyone you know how many currencies have died to date. I can't guess there answer but I am confident none of them will know it:
The Answer:
All of them
Don't know JJ this balance sheet is awfully suspect of MBS subsidization and artificial liquidity measures that circumvent the traditional mark to market pricing regime.
IMO the real question is how does the Fed unwind this polished turd?

Its the effort that counts and the bees Im sure appreciate it too
Im still in shock that you tried to open up a bee hive hotrod. Did you actually rescue it or try to make honey comb smores with it?
That's why technical trading is not 100% accurate my friend. Discounting the release of a production update on the back of solid fundamentals is risky IMO. Human behavior can change on a dime and that's when TA goes out the door.
FWIW I like traders (real traders) because they often bring much needed liquidity to a security. GLTY MOOSEY
Asia might bring down the house of cards but they do have the gold to rebuild their country and rejuvenate their currency.
No they don't but good luck with that strategy
Thanks!
Gresham's law is an economic principle that states: "When a government overvalues one type of money and undervalues another, the undervalued money will leave the country or disappear from circulation into hoards, while the overvalued money will flood into circulation."
Good and Bad money are about collide and yes it shall be very interesting faz.
Each qtr tick up in rates equals a half a trillion dollars new debt.
Lol you must be a very smart geometrist so I'm going to dump my entire position based on that statement. It's better I listen to you and "buy and pray" instead right?
Because America doesn't have any more leverage and frankly the trade agreement will go on without the US. I don't like it but the west has pigged out for decades meanwhile pushing its inflation off to other countries
Now its time to pay the piper but our politicians won't be honest enough and at least own up to their broken strategies and corrupt regulatory practices. This trade agreement is going to end badly for the west but it will force this country to regroup and hopefully re-build. We did it once and we will do it again which is why I'm sticking around to hopefully do just that
I wonder if Iran was charged a sales tax to trade in and out of their own gold bullion? Maybe that gesture is only reserved for American Citizens?
I feel horrible for the Greeks as they are right smack dab in the middle of monetary pong again. A game they are all too familiar with I imagine. If the contagion reaches the west it will be much different imo. Westerners don't typically carry cash so they won't even know where to find an ATM
Absolutely and I don't argue the strategy but you sir do not depict the average investor that has a "guy managing their money".
I probably should have been clearer about the reference as well as the generalization of the statement.
I think every holiday is worthy of a silver basket. Of course one would have to actually own the silver to give the basket unless they wanted to use lotion instead??
The official vote to boot em is on Sunday. If things are not resolved by Friday this weekend should be interesting imo
I will take a heaping double serving of the .28s please. This particular line is moving a little slow imo is there any chance we can move it along? There would be nothing better than some freshly baked .28 right out of the oven.
Bake em and I will buy em Chef keyotee
Its easier to corner a silver market when those whose currency has the greatest purchasing power chase "fools gold" and/or "paper silver".
Tell a bunch of investors "it's the same thing" meanwhile make a clean getaway out the back door with the physical. Its a classic bait and switch
Lol no arguments there on another note the pot has officially called the kettle black:
The world is defenceless against the next financial crisis, warns BIS
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11704051/The-world-is-defenseless-against-the-next-financial-crisis-warns-BIS.html
"Economic mismanagement has hampered productivity growth
This problem is compounded as the world’s populations continue to age, the organisation warned, making debt burdens harder to bear. Yet politicians have relied too much on temporary growth boosts by using debt, rather than making painful choices, said the BIS.
Mr Caruana said that during booms, workers and capital are shifted to slow-growing sectors, with a “long-lasting negative” impact on productivity growth. “Misallocated labour needs to move from these sectors to other parts of the economy,” he said.
The BIS said that the current turmoil in Greece typified the kind of “toxic mix” of private and public debt being used as a solution to economic problems, rather than making the proper commitment “to badly needed” structural reforms.
Mr Caruana said that policymakers must now focus on the supply side of the economy, introducing the right reforms, rather than continue to lean on debt which will inevitably undermine growth."
Yep my thoughts exactly
Good! Making friends everywhere on this fine day. Nothing like a little fire and Brimstone to get the market juices flowing. Puerto Rico is the one to keep an eye on imo ;)
The Fed
My post was meant to inform investors as most don't thoroughly read the prospectus. Technically it is correct as no SLV market participant would be be dumb enough to post on this board.
My comment referenced most investors meaning "there is no silver there" ...for most investors. Meaning everyone other than Broker Dealers and Authorized Participants
Wrote what? I stand by my comment if you want to pick apart the grammar that's fine by me. But no average Joe is going to be trading SLV shares for silver bullion and that's a fact
If you want a beat on the real silver market watch the premium's over spot and the inventories of the bullion dealers; or you can continue to chase the USD here as well
Yes management raises the capital to build there business. There's a reason they choose not to improve the reporting status of this security.
Really? Most SLV investors have 50k share tranches AND are Authorized Market Participants?
Sure bud
Agree just like most don't know what's going on in Greece
"Only registered broker-dealers that become authorized participants by entering into a contract with the Sponsor and the Trustee may purchase or redeem Baskets."
Not surprised you missed this but thanks for illustrating my point
Sure but unless your an Authorized Participant and have more than 50k shares to trade out you will be paid in fiat. This is why there's no silver exposure here for most investors.
GLTY
Yup management must have skimped on the promotion there's no interest in this garbage acquisition. Maybe they shoulda skipped the Holiday party?
Just goes to show you can't teach stupid
Yes it is and Puerto Rico is now on the block too
If your referring to this security SLV I'm inclined to agree. Heck I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if it went to no bid one day. But the assumption that SLV has any real silver exposure for most investors is just plain wrong
You should read the prospectus there's no silver here
But if you need an ISIS cake it seems Walmart will be more than happy to prepare it. But don't bother asking for one of the Confederate Flag apparently that goes against Walmart's core values
Walmart Refuses To Make Cake With Confederate Flag, Makes One With ISIS Flag

Got Target?
They must be if they think a bunch of ihub posters are in control of the pps.
I have been waiting for Verizon to pick it up for years now. Thanks I didn't realize there were options I may sniff around and see what the other carriers are doing. Verizon is way too expensive anyway and I will kick them in the ba**s every chance I get
Happy Sunday Bert
