Now that we have open discovery through the courts...lets shine the light of justice into all the dark corners of the leaders houses. God have mercy on any wrong doing that has occurred. I hope they get a comfortable federal prison cell. They can talk stocks with the Enron guys, Tyco CEO, Maddoffs, etc. Welcome to the jump suit club boys.
No more penny moves...we are moving in larger numbers now. Happy about that.
Wostly mrong about fnma. Made a lot of money not listening to the background noise.
Financial slavery act of 2014
We all get our shares back and
40 acres with a mule.
Our time has come...a year ago we was staring at .30 cent and no movement for weeks. Its crazy to sell now after waiting for some level of certainty. I have watched FNMA move up over a 1000% and the entire time some person here has been posting how crazy it is to hold this stock. If I was in a room with them, I would ask them if they have lost their mind. I have made ten times my original purchase. They (bashers) are only doing what they are paid to do...get you to sell to the hedgies. You gotta be tough if your gonna be dumb. Sell out...just be tough when you look back in a couple years.
Those retail hold outs must really frustrate the hedgies...Its funny when you cant be bought. Not for sale.
That is exactly what is happening.
It is getting more difficult to dismantle with a higher price per share. What everyone seems to forget...if the share price is 100 bucks, thats what uncle sam would pay to dissolve your shares. As long as the company is profitable, its a sure thing in my opinion.
Its tough to wait years. I have held since March...been tough not selling esp when May pushed it to 5.00 bucks.
1. taxpayer made whole
2. Earnings
3. Lawsuits forcing discovery
4. People afraid of going to jail
5. Public opinion on the upswing
Those that are buying knows more than you.
Those that are buying knows more than you.
Hedgies wanting what you have took a risk on and held for a year. I'm not selling out cheap.
No reason why this run should not blow through five. More certainity and loan payment to the government. I feel more confident now than last May.
How does a half trillion divy up among shareholders?
These pops are small potatoes....after release, its flip flops and sand between our toes.
Loan payoff is a game changer. Currently all shareholders have damages and can legally file suit. Let the games begin!!! Imo of course. Somebody owes me six bucks a share for last quarter.
Well they are four times larger now...so around 1-1.50 would be my guess.
For me that depends on the divy payments. One may be able to provide themselves with a nice life style based purely on the divy. Life is good.
Those that are slowly buying the float and those that are short are both worried at this point. I think the amount of news on the pay back of the government loan has caught some off guard. Alot of articles are being written now how it is unfair what the government has done. Those that made bad decisions are not commenting and those that have it in their power to do the right thing is taking cover as well. This jewel will be pried up by the sword of the legal system. Discovery on the illegal acts will be the turning point for both GSEs in my opinion. I look forward to the hearings and allowing all the key players try to explain their actions and dodge personal liability from shareholders.
The 2008 crisis was bad enough to break laws, steal, and violate the Constitutional rights of Shareholders. Willfully done so...at what point do you use the word "Treason"? Since it was a Government sponsored company, maybe treason is the correct term. Individuals are at fault not the Government.
Regardless, they cant take our company from us at this point without paying fair value for the assets.
Berk has put thousands of man hours into his research, the fool's give opinion over slurpping coffee. Take your pick the lawyers or the feminine boys on the fool.
LOL....a face lift and a spiritual lift is needed. Money cant fix ugly. They have to live with that. FNMA Can buy happiness, you just got to know where to shop.
Why would someone employee someone to make posts on FNMA that are damaging to the price of the stock? Maybe so they could buy it cheaper. Thats how the game is played. Welcome to the party. He is not a troll, he manipulates the stock price. He is good at his job. He clicks the TOS button (which sends an email to admins) to anyone that posts comments that disagree with his agenda. My advice is any comments he make that break Ihub rules, report them as a TOS. The link is (report TOS violiation).
Dow was off 326 points...FNMA held up well on a down day. Im afraid that we are in a correction cycle and more pain is coming for the Dow. I honestly think we have a chance at a bump on earnings. This may be the point where FNMA runs and the overall market sinks. Lots of folks will be looking for value plays and getting more speculative.
FNMA was only up 1000% last year...what a let down. Should have been a kabillion %. People are dumb.
Nothing against you personally, but I hope everyone with that mindset is on the sidelines when she blows. I hope that it runs and keeps out those thinking they can enter at any time. Im curious why you would bail with earnings coming and the lawsuits coming to a head soon? Odd. I guess everyone has personal reasons why they do what they do. I dont need the money and consider it the same and putting money down at the table in Vegas. Either way, its not gonna change my lifestyle. Enjoy your wine Dr.
More profit than Walmart and Exxon combined big guy.
Love the last line....
Generational Wealth is exactly correct. Its a 100 year event. Congrats that you are smart enough to recognize that
Challenge to all those naysayers:
Find me a stock that went up 1000% last year and has over 20 billion in earnings.
After you go through every stock on the exchange...one will be left.
FNMA.
That was so frustrating. I honestly don't think anyone is dumb enough to manipulate this stock. The feds are crawling all over it like it is the last play they have left.
Not enough float to effectively make big moves unnoticed. When berk took his 10% slowly over a month, pps rose a buck.
Institutional ownership moving north
I think it really comes down to skin in the game. No private investor will loan out capital for 3-4% over 30 years. Much better investments out there. GSEs are lenders of last resort. Without them, we become a nation of renters. Housing is the largest driver in our economy. We will not see a recovery without housing. They know that.
My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
401k
Made the switch to fnma. I think pps will out run the fmcc pps on news. Locked and ready for announcement of debt being repaid. Maybe hear it from the president tonight.
After owning this for almost a year...it takes a lot to raddle my nerves.
I think FNMA has held up pretty good considering the overall market has dropped so much in the past couple weeks. You have to remember that FNMA went up 1000% last year...all that was after the month of May. Earnings will be out soon.
Why do we not take legal suit against those that are in charge. We can take suit against Mel Watt at anytime after the original loan is paid in full. I think the way to handle this is to take suit against the Managers personally rather than the government. Make them defend their actions rather than hide behind the veil of a government office. I am seriously considering a small claims action against them for dividends that I should have gotten as a shareholder. If everyone done the same, this thing would be over in a couple of months. Once the last payment is received, I think we should try the courts individually. Its simple math, you take the number of shares outstanding, and divide it by the profit taken by the government...that is your share of the divy. Mine would be more than 10K which is the max allowed in small claims...however, a bench ruling would open the gates for more individual lawsuits. Thoughts? I am willing to try this route, no one else has.
