Since everyone is chipping in getting the word out...I emailed Glenn Beck...He helped out our USO in the Akron/Canton area years back this way. Hopefully this is a story he's willing to review, at the height of this oil spill disaster.
If we are to ever get on that show....now is the time IMO...
I do...Goof Off. You should try it.
See, that's where the CONSTRUCTIVE part of the CRITICISM comes in. Criticism can't be constructive if no one has any advice!
They say they have competitive prices...Let's hope!
See thats what I want to see. IHUB ads again when the DRTV kicks off. Hopefully Eric and team consider this given the occasion. :)
We'll I thought the same thing until I saw reference to my Yes man post. Either way, it's all good. I like Dirty.
So yeah..call me a "YES"man but have the stones to tell me I was right.
It disturbs me that people make comments about Eric when they don't even have a clue
but they'll all be clapping when his business plan evolves
There's dozens of growth stocks out there with zero liquidity and interest from the retail masses despite a stellar track record of initial success because the CEO's didn't know how to create stimulus in their stocks & therefore could never attract the next breeds of funders and/or investors it takes to truly utilize their public vehicles to the max of their potential.
If the CEO reads this board...then it is not Fruitless...He listens to us and takes our opinions into considerations sometimes....I'm sure you wouldn't know that though cause you rarely have anything constructive to say...how do you think on the store locator, the number of records/locations displayed was increased?... hmmm...because someone simply requested him to do so...the small things add up...you trade...i'll invest...
Rocket does it all the time...lol...So I figured why not...It piggybacked off what Eric was saying...I remember my posts and a few others like a mad man...sorry...

To sponge off this excellent post, I also concur that Eric is waiting on other professionals to price tag this. You see, Tangible Assets(physical objects/documents) are the easiest to put a dollar figure to because they can be held, studied, and appraised. In this case, the trade secret formulations & trademarks could of easily been price tagged by Eric and company if they truly desired. The fact that they did not want to "grade" themselves shows again they are in no rush to boost this stock price where we all know it should be(way higher). He is waiting for the "Market" to catch up and assess this company for themselves, which may not be to far away from happening now due to the release of the IIS.
Realize, it is the intangible assets (For example: reputation/intellectual property) which are hard to evaluate. You cannot put a price tag on a excellent CEO. If we were not the real deal, one of our main forms of advertisements would actually be our worst. Selling a product that does not work as described using Word of mouth advertising would be your worst enemy lol. Your reputation would indeed suffer. You also cannot put a price on great reputation, so the work Winning Brands has put forth all these years is paying off with revenues just over half a mil. That to me will only grow once our character builds throughout 2010 and beyond.

Televison is without any doubt the most efficient avenue for reaching and persuading vast numbers of people. It generates the sensational urge that leads to a purchase. By no means does any other method deliver sales like it. Every good quality company should have a formed baseline or known sales trend for a particular product. For a new company who is still learning their best growth model, this baseline should be compared not only nationally, but locally. Which IMO, is why Eric is doing the C-100 program in the U.S. This baseline can be large, or it could be small compared to other similar competing companies. As time goes on (with or without advertisements), this baseline can ascend or descend.
Now lets say Tomorrow, Feb 11th, Toronto begins airing that commercial on a regualar schedule. Based on the average amount of times aired (which Eric should be aware of), and monitoring if their known baseline increases, they would know if that certain commercial was effective. Hits on their website should increase. As you stated, phone calls, and customer service inquires should increase. Being that this ad is only being aired around the Toronto area(correct me if i'm wrong), it is easier to observe how successful the TV ad is in that location. Increased product placement requests? Increased demand for the product from the stores already carrying?...etc...All vital signs of efficiency.
If the baseline stays the same, then we know the commercial was not effective. If it decreases dramatically(which does happen), then we know it more or less hurt the company. DRTV monitors this kind of stuff themselves. Whatever can make them money, they keep their eyes on. They watch how often ads are aired and the sales generated between those time slots.
"We" will not know the effect until Eric provides an update or possibly someone living in Canada(Tib) tells us. Once the DRTV ad is complete and is aired in the states we will see for ourselves. For example; we could see a vast amount of people singing a WC jingle, proving awareness is growing. Just like the "give me that filet o fish" commercial from Mcdonalds...lol. Everyone was singing that song and it obviously was very effective. I don't know for sure but I bet that sandwich type got a significant boost in sales. IMO
Sometimes it's easy for me to forget that only Eric and his team know when and how all of these pieces are going to come together. I may not agree with some of these PR decisions, but in the end only he can see the whole picture, and I can only see one piece.
LOL...I guess I'm not a "true" long term investor. I tend to have my own brain and disagree with certain things. But I do have to say, we sure do have alot of Yes Men on this board lmao...I bet Eric would hate to have people like that working for him...Great Job sir...what ever you say sir...lol...
Negative correspondence is just as helpful as the good...Eric knows this...Keeps him grounded...For the first time, the email to Eric, rather than his response, is more interesting...lmao...Honestly it shows that some here have indeed tied the knot with the company/Eric rather than the business and it's accompanying stock.
I guess I'll be labeled as impatient lol...just because I question certain things...hmmm...is that not our job as shareholders? That email was quite sad to say the least. Great response though, so the poster is good for something... Thanks!
P.S...Why do you think Eric reads IHUB? He wants to hear what ALL investors have to say...not just the YES Men...lmao...If he wanted only Positive correspondence, he wouldn't read IHUB and he'd just tell us all to email him personally if we have something nice to say...LMAO
sigh...
This is what I have been waiting for and its now here to finally prove what this company can do ..or maybe not do
I've been seeing what they have been doing for just under a year now...company/product wise....GREAT...Stockwise/promotion wise/company awareness.....hmm not so great...
I'm sure you'd ride the "business decisions and upcoming plans" bandwagon all the way down to .0001...Everyone has their own tolerance level...from what i've seen, you don't seem to have one...good on you...Given whats transpiring with the company...if the PPS slowly declined to .001 would you still be as confident? Hey why worry? We have PR's like this....
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=50411013
or Newswire site/channels like this
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=50412244
Never said they are "secretly" trying to keep the PPS down...I just don't think they care enough to make it go up...Memo's is the only reason why most still hold here...without them...i'd be gone. constant reoccurance that WNBD is doing great and all is going according to plan can only go so far...holders from June of last year know what i'm talking about...those of you were lucky enough to made a penny on this...kudos to you for getting in years ago...
I don't care about these stats to be quite honest...have you looked at the number of shareholders we have to date? 300! The millions upon millions of visit's per day on all those sites obviously is not good enough...Time to try something New....and/or....release something that will gain attention to the masses...
Hey, I agree with you. Not all things are worthy to be PR'd, but if we don't recieve one by tomorrow...I seriously will be questioning my stake here. I'm still trippin about the quarterly report not being PR'd...Nothing draws new investors in more than financials...
Sometimes I think maybe Dennis works for Winning Brands....They both seem to have the same common goal...Keep the PPS low, and try to do things(or in this case, not do a thing) to push it lower...even when there is news that could push us up a few .00's...
I think I'll need some Winning Colours. Starting today, I will be painting the bid, sorry in advance for the mess. Good day all.
On top of the DRTV in June...we could simultaneously run ads on IHUB...where the really money is at...Money TV? We'll be lucky to break 2,000,000 volume if they go that route....
well do it again...
I say screw Money TV....I say simple run ads on Investors Hub...
Investor's Hub stats....

Well Rocket, this goes to show why I have been frustrated with the way certain things have been handled here. It seems like the best information get's Memo'd and the less attractive information get's PR'd. To me, I think Eric is doing exactly what he has always said he'd do. And that's not pump anything @ anytime...IMO, he is so worried about PR'ing anything that will gain major interest in thoughts that it may be confused as "pumping"...All I have been saying all along is, if the information is "real", estimated or concrete, then what is the problem with releasing PR's that explain what direction the company is going...but no...he let's the market "grade" the company for what it is...and states the stock price will sustain itself. The "Market" didn't get a chance to grade our Quarterly report because they don't know it exists. (How can you do DD on something that you don't know is out there) However we can get a PR explaining why a Canadian singer helps us out by mentioning us a few times via Facebook...
What it comes down to is, if desirability is made from "REAL" success, how can the "market" witness this "success" if the "market" does not know of this "success".
FAREWELL
All, I just received word that I will be mobilizing to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. I will be assigned to a detainee facility, in which is pending shutdown. I just wanted to say I appreciate all the persons on this board and thank you for helping me understand what it takes to have the patience, understanding, and trust, to invest in a company of this magnitude. One can learn a lot from this board if they look deeper than the stock price. I have been nominated for the Individual Augment (IA) assignment of GITMO, and look forward to coming back and rejoining in the discussions on this board. I will monitor WNBD from time to time, and intend to keep buying shares if the company continuously progresses. I hope one day, overseas, I have a surprise in my portfolio awaiting me. You all will be dearly missed, and again I thank all of you for sharing your thoughts, DD, and time with me. See you guys in a little over 1 year. ;)
AC
my guess is 135K
Agreed...I looking foward to the third quarter report...That will be a great day for all longs...IMO
Great find...I guess we MAY see it ON TIME! After Hours maybe?...
Or, like a lot of things, Winning Brands first quarterly report, may get extended a few weeks due to some unforseen/undisclosed reasons...We'll see won't we...
P.S...not trying to be negative here...just saying...and being realistic based on past circumstances...
Sounds great, I wish they'd bring some of that excitement back to this board, cause I'm dieing here...My WNBD psychological time clock was set to May 7th...everyday that passes now is just killing me...
Looks like I may need to start ignoring some more people here...the overall topic on this board is not on par with Winning Brands IMO...
I would assume, I sent in my picture last week and they didn't have a problem with it. They seemed pleased from the response I got back.
Thanks Scup, I was just wondering...Can't wait to get mine lol...
Has anyone received their Winning Brands shirt yet?
