I'm not a chart expert, but I think she's gonna break through .02 soon and move onwards and upwards.
We'll see.
You picked a winner in AMNE !
I think so too. I think that was the pullback.
IMO we will be moving back up soon.
IMO I think it will finish higher than .014 .
Whooo hoooo!
Daaaaaammmmmmnnnn!
So you think we're movin' on up again?
My math was a little off.
: ^ )
Oh yeah, Goooood Mornin' !
I could have sold it for a 20% gainer 2 minutes after I bought it, but I'm gonna see how it plays out.
Glad I got up early.
: ^ )
BTW, cool site boys and girls. Nice work!
I'm not familiar with it, but I trust your judgement that it is far-fetched. I mean come one, we're talking about JPM who operates on the "say-anything, do-anything" principle.
Picked up some BKUNA in Pre-Market . We'll see if that was a smart move.
Agreed.

I would say that a RICO lawsuit filed by shareholders would only apply to preseizures as those who bought post-seizure were not harmed by the illegal actions. My guess is that a RICO suit will likely not be successful (don't ask me why, do your own research),and if it were, you would likely be dead before it's over. If such a suit were filed by the company, then the current shareholders would benefit from a victory by the company as the company would be worth more, but to the best of my understanding, WMI is not filing a RICO suit (which is smart).
I'm not a lawyer, but I'd love to hear from someone who does know what they're talking about.
Sounds good to me. I better not share my thoughts, otherwise we will start up the same old settlement/buyout argument all over again, so I guess I'll stick with commons getting $5,000/share.
Seriously though, commons will see $5,000 per share.
It is too funny. The same questions and theories being thrown around as 6 months ago.
I love it!
Sounds like a good plan. What a great return your money huh?
I like commons the best because they will be getting $1 billion per share.
Good article, but if the author lost money, then it's his own fault for selling.
If he wouldn't have sold, he wouldn't have lost anything.
If he would have sucked it up, bought more, and traded the shares for the last 6 months, he could have made hundreds of thousands of dollars.
IMO, it would be better if he would stick to the facts and numbers like he included in the second part of the blog, and left the part about being a shareholder out.
Thanks for the article though.
Whatever it is, that was a close #. I'm done searching through those anyways, but the bottom line is that if JPM or anybody of similar size acquires WMI, that # won't really matter because the pps will be much higher than the "breaking point" (for lack of a better word)and $1,000 in value is guaranteed.
Cheers!
You didn't miss anything, and I wouldn't read too much into the pps action.
We're on the pinks, and it could have just as easily gapped up in the morning and tanked the rest of the day.
I'd say technicals are out the window and probably have been for a while.
I'm not a technical guy, but if the charts held true, WAMPQ would not have gone down today.
These move on news and the possibility of news.
I wouldn't expect any upward movement on this for a while, but now that I say that, it will probably shoot up tomorrow.
Got me.

Good answer.
So what do you think PEACH, will we see any more news before June 1st, on June 1st, or right after June 1st?
BTW, what a great day!
If settlement news came out, there would be just enough time for the shorts to lose everything they have.
hahaha
Well we appreciate it, and just as we've been saying, the #s don't add up.
Hempton should have added something about how much cash JPM has made off of WaMu as well, along with pointing out that they only paid $1.888 billion, but it was a great article nonetheless.
Cheers!
Killer link!
Pretty sound logic and reason, and it's short and sweet.
Thanks buddy!
That's not true. They haven't been seized and the negotiations are for the company not certain assets and liabilities.
Nothing exact, but it will likely rise on the news regardless.
Guess what? EGT just hit .40 .
Great call!
If someone shorted it, then that someone better hope it goes straight down from here.
Appreciate it. BKUNA just hit $1 BTW.
What is your best guess on a buyout dollar amount?
I can't make a reasonable guess without knowing their #s.
Cheers!
WAMKQ was too low, and the short period of time it stayed down there says it all.
They must have dropped it down again to let their buddies cover, and back up she went.
Tell you what, if I was short and JC Flowers or GS were considering a buyout, I would sure as #ell cover.
What do you think, it will continue to go up over the next few days?
Also, check out the PM I sent about AMNE. I sold my shares, but might dump a couple thousand back in if it keeps a movin'. I'm hoping for a pullback, but I have no problem buying back in a little higher than I sold if the move is for real.
Great call on BKUNA BTW !
The approximate 20 million shorts that have to cover might help it up a bit.
So BKUNA only has 35.7 M OS, possible buyout news , and 5 million shorts out there huh?
Yes. It has to. There can't be more outstanding shares than authorized shares.
.65 x 40 = $26
Plus, the divi on the Ks per year is 1 , so the current pps is 65% of the div.
The divi on the Ps is 77.50, so the current pps is only 30.6% of the div.
The Ks are overpriced in relation to the Ps = FACT .
The #s don't lie.
FACT = The Ks are overpriced compared to the Ps right now, pps wise and divi yield vs. current pps, and don't tell me what to do.
I'm glad you're proud of your shares, but the #s don't lie my friend.
Do the math!
The #s don't lie.
