Some nice buy volume at .0399
Yesterday short volume: 2011 02 23 TIVU short 206900 total 335250
If you look back over the past month and more. daily short volume is usually about half the total volume. the heavier short volume days are usually when PR's hit. Until a major PR hits with contract news and or positive revenue update, shorts will take advantage of any little pump in share price to buy back in to cover at even a small percentage gain over the next several trading days. Obvious, more convertibles have hit the market in the last several weeks. I for one, appreciate how the company is giving us a step by step pyramid so we can watch how this will pay off big, IMO.

If you are here for quick penny land flip, not much to work with. This is mid to long term play. Does not act like a most penny stock.

Talked with Steve H. See no reason for small sell of today. Some long may have gotten impatient.....or whatever. Picked up another 40K at these prices. Hope for real news soon. GLTA
Money, you have any idea what is going on with bihc and hayter? i know you had a large amount of shares at one time. you holding out for any hope? will hayter walk away from this? just curious what your opinion is.
Sorry off topic for a sec. Money you have been around BIHC big time in the past. Do you know anything going on with hayter and his group? You still hold shares? Any ideas of what may happen? Please give me a PM if you would please on subject. thanks
I did ride the rocket for a short time. Could have stayed in and made my decade with what I had invested, but I try to stick with my guidelines for penny land and I am very happy. Thanks for pointing out my obvious mistake on Tivu short volume date. Was doing too many things at once and had a humam, (headupmyassmoment)

Thanks for kind words but, only No BS on Tivus stock. LOL, for what that is worth. I am long on this and only one other penny stock. I am a penny land profit seeker and not that anyone cares, but do not take anything I post on Ihub as fact. I am trying to take profit wherever I can on my daily trades I have been accumulating more Tivus for the last two weeks and I am planning on holding them for years.

Large hotel chain to start phasing out porn in 2013

Original post: Hotel-room
entertainment provider
LodgeNet went on the
defensive Wednesday after a
Wall Street analyst's report
revealed that one of its major
hotel-chain customers will start
phasing out pay-per-view porn
in 2013, Dow Jones reports.
LodgeNet responded with a
press release that says, among
other things, that the chain's
decision won't hurt the company in 2011 or 2012 as much as the report suggested.
The news, however, will likely have an impact on what hotel guests will - or won't - see on their hotel TV
screens in the future.
Hotel porn is a profitable, but little-discussed, revenue stream for hotels. Most of the big chains - with
the notable exception of Omni - offer it as an option to guests.
One veteran hotel manager who has worked in various higher-end hotels, and who asked not to be
identified, told me that his company's research suggests that 80% to 90% of all movies watched are
"adult content" movies. In another bonus for hotels, guests also tend to be less concerned about price
than they are with more generic movies, he told me.
Perhaps not surprisingly, the analyst report in question assumes that a full 50% of LodgeNet's guest-
entertainment revenue at the unidentified chain's hotels comes from adult entertainment, despite the fact
that LodgeNet's video-on-demand systems also give guests the choice of ordering music, games and
Hollywood blockbusters.
So which chain plans to quit porn?

Large hotel chain to start phasing out porn in 2013 - USATODAY.com
http://travel.usatoday.com/hotels/post/2011/01/lodgenet-hotel-in-room-porn-movies/139332/1[1/23/2011 6:11:12 PM]
For now, we still don't know which hotel chain plans to phase out what LodgeNet calls "mature content."
Neither the analyst's report nor any of the news articles that followed identified the chain.
But if it's really one of LodgeNet's biggest customers, then we're talking about a short list.
In a May 2010 investor presentation, LodgeNet identified its three largest hotel customers as Marriott and
Hilton (19% of LodgeNet-serviced hotel rooms apiece) and InterContinental Hotels Group (10% of
rooms).
The only other hotel-chain customers with a big enough share of rooms to be identified by name
accounted for smaller percentages of LodgeNet's rooms: Starwood (8% of rooms), and Hyatt (5%). The
remaining percentage (39%) was not broken out by individual chains, although the LodgeNet
presentation did list Four Seasons, Accor, Fairmont, Harrah's and Loews Hotels as other hotel customers.
In the same presentation, LodgeNet described itself as the world's largest media and connectivity
provider to the hotel world covering 1.9 million rooms.
From a broader perspective, news of a hotel chain planning to drop pay-per-view adult entertainment is
particularly shocking given recent changes in the how people view content.
LodgeNet's revenue from all of its guest-entertainment programs has been falling for roughly two years,
as people traveled less or, when on the road, cut back on personal frills. Many travelers today travel with
their own Netflix DVDs or click on Hulu.com to watch free TV shows. Noting the decline of pay-per-view
movie rentals - and specifically porn - Hotel Check-In reader 24x7 commented: "I'm not going to pay
another $20 for something I already get on the internet (for free)."
In 2009, LodgetNet saw guest-entertainment revenues slide by 19% vs. 2008. And as the shift among
consumers became more evident, LodgeNet has increasingly been taking steps to diversify its business
with accounts outside the hotel industry.
In the meantime, LodgeNet said in its statement that it still has a "good" relationship with the hotel chain
getting ready to phase out "mature content" offerings. In fact, LodgeNet's even talking with the chain
about upgrading its existing systems to high-definition - a move that would mean more money.
Do you order pay-per-view entertainment in hotels?
Not anymore. I bring my own DVDs or surf the Web.
No. I watch whatever's on free TV.

Not sure why you'd "hope" it's anyone in particular. If you don't like porn,

that stuff and besides, the prices they charge for that cr*p are an
obscenity in and of themselves. So it doesn't affect me whether it is there
or not. But to each his own.
One comment I will make about LodgeNet is that I HATE how some of
their systems offer such a scanty choice of channels. 15 versions of
ESPN, yet lacking certain local channels and cable channels that we
now generally take for granted. I know it varies by hotels, but some of
them have VERY paltry offerings. I'd like to see that change.

Marriott takes porn off the menu at new hotels

By Barbara De Lollis, USA TODAY
Marriott International, one of
the nation's leading hotel
groups, tells Hotel Check-In
that it's pulling access to adult
movies from the new hotel
rooms it will be opening the
next several years.
Marriott says that its decision
coincides with a pending shift
to new, in-room entertainment
technology.
Marriott's decision also comes
after years of discussing
whether the availability of adult
entertainment in guest rooms -
for years, a money maker for
hotels - is appropriate and whether secure safeguards exist to keep it away from children. It also comes
as business travelers, especially, check into hotels carrying their own entertainment, whether Netflix
DVDs, an iPod Touch or a laptop.
Marriott's statement (below) came in response to Hotel Check-In's question this morning asking if Marriott
was the unidentified hotel chain referenced in news reports yesterday about media provider LodgeNet.
The reports said that one of LodgeNet's large hotel-chain customers in 2013 would begin to phase out
"mature content." LodgeNet's two largest customers are Marriott and Hilton.
LodgeNet's revenue from all of its guest-entertainment programs - including Hollywood blockbusters,
games, music and porn - had fallen during the recession mainly due to lower hotel occupancy levels, but
also because travelers changed their viewing habits to save money.
Here is the rest of Marriott's statement to Hotel Check-In:
"It is our practice to keep adult content out of the reach of children and unavailable to any adult who
chooses not to view it. We have strong controls in place that allow guests to block these materials.
Changing technology and how guests access entertainment has reduced the revenue hotels and their
owners derive from in-room movies, including adult content. We are working with in-room
entertainment providers and technology vendors to transition to the next generation of in-room

Two weeks after potential 2012 Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney left the board of
directors of Marriott, the company has decided to remove pay-per-view porn from its hotels.
In 2008, social conservatives in Iowa (who nominated Mike Huckabee that year) harshly denounced
Romney for his connection to Marriott and the pornography that it sells in its hotel rooms. One such
conservative, the president of the Citizens for Community Values, called him a “major
pornographer.” Competition with new distribution technologies was cited in Marriott's press release,
but the service was still generating $175 in revenue per room every year.
Ben Smith of Politico quotes an AFL-CIO official who alleges the decision is all about helping
Romney’s presidential hopes:
"Now when it comes to folks who actually work for a living - and negotiating on their wages,
benefits, etc - we always hear the mantra 'we must maximize revenue and value for the
shareholders,'" said Vale in an email to reporters. "Interesting how this pillar of corporate
philosophy seems to have gone right out the window when it comes to helping their billionaire
buddy's presidential campaign."
There’s certainly nothing wrong if Marriott wants to brand itself as family friendly—although as an
episode of 30 Rock once pointed out, pay-per-view pornography is the perfect business.
But if the decision was political and if Romney gets to take credit for ending pornography in hotels,

that could be a vastly more significant contribution to his campaign than the over $120,000 he
received from Marriott in the 2008 cycle. Marriott's decision is a good example of how the close
relationship between many politicians and wealthy business owners is a two-way problem.
The usual complaint of progressives concerned with the tremendous influence of corporations is that
political decisions are shaped by the needs of those businesses. But the relationship is actually
symbiotic: business decisions can be shaped by the individual needs of politicians. That can have
serious consequences for both employees and shareholders who might have much to lose if Marriott
voluntarily gives up a gigantic chunk of revenue that it had been happily (but sinfully) relying on for
years just in time for the 2012 election cycle to begin.
It’s a challenge to the Randian narrative that we've all been forced to listen to about how
unemployment is caused by a lack of appreciation and adulation for business owners. In this case,
it's the union that's standing up for company profits, recognizing that the decreased revenue
probably won't be coming out of executives’ salaries. Then again, perhaps Marriott is just leading the
charge for family values in hotels. Will they be banning adultery in their rooms next?

to note Tivus’ HD Internet-based video-on-demand (VOD) system empowers our
hotel customers to perfectly tailor the entertainment content to best suit the Hotel
Brand experience and their guests’ tastes and needs.”
Tivus’ unique business model generates income through advertising revenue and
shares it with the hotel creating a significant new revenue stream. Considering
the near 40% decline in hotel pay-per-view revenues over the past decade, Tivus
leads the way in ad-based, revenue-sharing HD IPTV hotel entertainment.
Through its property branded and guest-friendly menus, Tivus’ users can access
free-to-guest programming, review their room folio, order hotel amenities, stream
the latest Hollywood movies, enjoy video gaming, and explore local attractions.
Tivus delivers a completely customized entertainment experience.
Prakash continued, “Since many of today’s guests frequently travel with personal
business and entertainment electronics, Tivus’ HD IPTV system allows easy
connection to all of them in one convenient and guest accessible interface.”
“Early 2011 has already seen considerable progress. As we currently plan with
Marriott to deploy our family-friendly in-room entertainment technology,
installation of our Doubletree property in Omaha is on track for completion in the
coming months and Tivus’ sales and installation teams are performing well as
