,Sorry, missed your innuendo, kol.
Agree, money back into company, excellent, just too bad for all those who trusted them to protect the share price better so didn't trade as expectations too high.
No point in saying if there were not flippers would the pps be better, I guess as there will always be. It's like saying, if there were no war.
I guess fewer flipping higher pps and, we now know stockholders attitudes are in beta, also.
Crazy this discussing something I know nothing about, like this but I know that if we f'up the boys will step up to the plate and slam us, for a homer. Like Mickey Mantle, used to and like ..... does today. The J, guy. he he
Man, there is a rooster crowing, a few different little birds, tweeting, sky is overcast, looks like, just maybe, I'm not getting a call, for work.
Not scotch time, but, key, to my day, this half hour.
Damn wasted on me. Can't still see, getting to be a must do project, but, I have looked and still without animation or smiles, or, bloody any of all those cute, fun, cuddly, sweet thingS that you guys must be using. SHEESH
My pleasure. Many are critical of Clark, but, his book is sure chock full of info.

folly, i wonder, sometimes, whether there have not been
low level attacks which are not reported as such?
BL and the other leaders, who would probably have to be
involved in such a gigantic operation are smart men;
if you were them would you try such a stunt again,
so soon?
Didn't he, or, another top gun say, recently, that GB and/or Israel would be targeted. Part of basic strategy in the planning of war is to weaken through division by fomenting internal unrest (always using an under privileged group to fight for the aggressor, in Iraq, Shi'ites and Kurds), sanctions, proxy wars, and waves of lies and propaganda.
Ramsey Clark, in THE FIRE THIS TIME suggests "U.S. planning for military action in the Middle East goes back to the 1970's when Washington reacted to the upsurge of nationalistic feelings in and growing independence of oil-producing countries"
Before OPEC, 1960, oil production, distribution, cost etc. was virtually controlled by 7 British and U.S. companies; greater control, huge profit, greater geopolitical leverage. Things changed, 1969, Lybian revolution, 1972 Iraq nationalises oil, 1973 Arab oil embargo producers take more share of oil revenue.
1973, Pentagon, exercise Alkali Canyon, in the Mojav Desert.
Soldiers in Iraqi and Iranian uniforms vs Marines and Army Rangers. Repeated annually, says, Clark.
Early '74 Kuwait and Saudi Arabia mined their oil fields in fear of US invasion, after threatening statements by Sec. of Defence, Schlesinger. So Ramsey said, hard to believe?
1977, Sen. Henry Jackson's Energy and National Resources Committee, said, "A US commitment to the defense of oil resources of the Gulf and to political stability in the region constitutes one of the most vital and enduring interests of the United States".
SO BUSH HAS DONE HIS BIT TOWARD POLITICAL STABILITY IN THE REGION, EH? CHEERS.
ps. to all defenders of the Empire's foreign policies,
be reminded, that IRAQ WAS PUT ON THE LIST OF COUNTRIES SUPPORTING TERRORISM IN 1972, NOT FOR KILLING, ONE PERSON.
THEN TAKEN OFF THE LIST, BY THE COWBOY PRES. RONNY RUMPLESTILTSKIN AND THE US'S BIGGEST TRADING PARTNER IN THE MID '80'S WHILE KILLING OVER A MILLION IRANIANS IN THE WAR WHICH THE US CONSULATE IN THE ME SUCKED HIM INTO BY TELLING HIM THAT THE US WOULDN'T MIND AND WOULD TREAT AN INVASION, OF IRAN, AS A REgIONAL DISPUTE.
IT WAS A PARTY TRICK FOR THEM AND ALLOWED KISSINGER TO SAY THAT HE HOPED THEY WOULD WIPE EACH OTHER OUT.
AND THE CHARADE GOES ON .. AND ON .. AND ON .. IT SUCKS.
got me at a weak moment.
OT, kol, learning together, eh, what.
Yes, apparently "traders stay away from stocks with low betas." , but
"Looks like JF knew what he was doing when he raised the authorized to 25 billion. He took the traders and future strong momo right out of this stock."
ummm, a little, perhaps, as, from the chat on the board you would know that there are many traders, still here and still trading. Don't forget the mid point is only one, below one investors, above one to put it in simplegreen's words, "say 1.75 then one can expect considerably more swing in the avg daily prices.A high beta stock is to be preferred for scalping, daytrading and swing trading". (full text)

Yahoo Finance has our Beta at 6.2, so when wick speaks of "low beta" he must be saying it in the context that it is lower now than it has been so, as he has, also said it is not so likely too swing as it has before. But, 6.2 is a hell of a lot higher than the 1.75 at which simple suggested a stock would be still attractive to traders. Wick, (same guy) has been candid here, he accumulates, but, also is a trader, as are others.
Don't have much of a clue, yet, but, following the logic it seems that you are suggesting that jf is doing the right thing by diluting the price of the pps, so much, as that lowers the beta and gets rid of the traders; so, frankie's/itrade's, et al, numbers to help get beta below one?
I hope I'm wrong, please, somebody, say so.
Simple, says, MM, avg daily vol and stock owners attitudes
are in the beta pot.
itjf&cgfn, utsm,totally.
They never tell you, stock, they want you believe they were
innocent victims of the "enemy".
We don't know on whose side the killers were, either.
All three sides, Sunni, Shi'ite and Yanks, they all
have death squads.
Yep, just a go'amn tragedy. Iraq, f'ed by the West since
1921,
Same problem here many complaints re poor equipment.
It took me 4 rejections, but, with perseverance, m'am,

Me 2, Stewie and I worked together on that one.
OT wanna, I was told you were only 6 days old, then saw your other post, then noticed you had not answered 4 replies, but, your posts would be limited, so that's cool. Man you got 3 direct replies on your 2nd post that's hot I've never had 3, in my whole life.
The others asked a couple of decent questions ... I'll, this time, put mine in context
1. "friend of mine requested a couple of serious requests on quotes to advertise her own business on GNF"
By "a couple", guess you mean she sent two emails?
2. "neither CEO nor "Chip" Gallent bothered to answer for more than 4 weeks" .. not so bad in the business world .. repeat what were the answers, or just one?
3. "my friend is not joking, you guys saw what all the online brokers did after my friend sent copies of letter to the SEC" .. what can I say, which one of these is a friend of your friend?
http://www.sec.gov/about/commissioner.shtml
wanna, ever tried spreading sardine on a leaf of lettuce,
slice of cheese, on top? Delicious, you really should try it.
Yummy, just a couple more.
bastardo, which recent was sooooooooooooo bad.
It's Stewie, sometimes he just moons
and sometimes he plagiarises. I make him
put quotation marks in when I catch him
copying; when he moons, man, he is oughta control ...
Missy, I'm not hearing anything from these,
what's my problem?
simple, thanks, very simple when simply put,
my learning curve just rose a notch.
And, simple, just, please, simply tell me when you
make it up, am a bit simple at times.
Happy to be here, one more nugget of the mine.
I hear you're pretty good at this trading stuff,
not real simple, just simple, I guess.
Ta, been there, that's where I saw Sully in the Car Wash.
My dead end one was ksullivan@gameznflix.com, but, yeah, did it again, he he, guess that's an email address.
RIGHT. DUMBO. SHEESH.
OT Thanks again wick, sent gave me some beta info. then sent me to investopedia which I should have gone to in the first place. Sharing it here just in case kol and others may still be wondering and so the question need never be asked here again.
"A measure of the volatility, or systematic risk, of a security or a portfolio in comparison to the market as a whole.
Also known as "beta coefficient".
Beta is calculated using regression analysis, and you can think of beta as the tendency of a security's returns to respond to swings in the market. A beta of 1 indicates that the security's price will move with the market. A beta less than 1 means that the security will be less volatile than the market. A beta greater than 1 indicates that the security's price will be more volatile than the market. For example, if a stock's beta is 1.2, it's theoretically 20% more volatile than the market.
Many utilities stocks have a beta of less than 1. Conversely, most hi-tech Nasdaq-based stocks have a beta greater than 1, offering the possibility of a higher rate of return but also posing more risk."
OT sent, thanks, again .. and to investopedia .. beta
just so the question need never be asked here again.

Thanks sent, forgot that place, it is a beauty.
sent, thank you sire, just one thing,
what is considered high, low, mid?
OT .. hi there, simple, it seems this is the board
to get to know you people better. Well done
in the real estate deals, all.
Simple, wick, doesn't know it yet, but, he indirectly
sent me over here when he suggested to kol that he
could get some insight into the significance of the "beta"
rating of a stock. I haven't a clue and just not got around
to going after it.
Would appreciate it if somebody could help me out, here?
OT .. wick, I've run into dead ends all my life and you give me another one?
This address was just Not Available anywhere for me, is the trouble my end?
Have been on my backside a bit too long, lately.
OT Me too wick, I have been wondering what beta was all about, just
hadn't got around to going after it.
By the bye, have you seen Sully, lately, in that Car Wash?
Hey capt, you're up late these nights. I've had a couple of scotches
at the pub the last couple of nights, first in a long time and have decided
to buy me a bottle. There used to be a couple of pretty decent, medium
range ones here. One of those will do. cheers.
GGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMM, hi, and good bye,
must go to fix the wheels, get back on track,
so to speak. (GO'DAMN, SMILIE, SMILING)
No way ranting, makes sense.
Course, it doesn't guarantee
we out of the rapids.

the wheels.

Gotta go, gotta go.

Thankyou for the info., you never know
he may be interested.
So much to learn, ssshhheeessshhhhhhhhh.
RAGS, old son and lover of Tina,
I have about at least 12 years, I hope.
I am here and enjoy it,
iwtjf&cgfn ...utsm,t.
If that happened, or, the opposite,
then, I would like to meet them.
I see my investment as payment
for educational services rendered.
My experience in this place is well worth
a few thousand (only a couple, at present)
when you look at educational costs, today.
Profit would be peaches and ice-cream,
don't like icing, bad for my remaing teeth.

OT, retired, about 10 hours ago I wrote a reply to you which, though a re creation seldom lives up to the original, went something like this.
Life is too short and it is the only one we have so don't worry, too much, about relatively trivial irritations.
My life is a cacaphony (CACOPHONY ..WORKS, NOW!) of discordant sounds and thoughts, both, from within and without, but, amongst the chaos of my place there lies the occasional oasis (plural?) of calm. Wonderful, refreshing and exuberant moments. One, mentioned before, in the middle of the Pacific ocean, in the midst of the Cuban crisis, Oct. 1962, when, I stood on the deck of a freighter watching a school of dolphins frolicking in a mirrored sea.
Above all, I cherish inclusiveness, for without it we gain
only narrow perspective. Without it we become divided.
Me feels, though the nature of the board be(a)st, is undoubtedly, one that serves up negativism, hypocrisy, the giving of false impressions and, I guess, a few downright lies, our servings are little to what exists, in too many important things, at the head of our respective governments.
So that's not so bad, retired, ENJOY!!!
ps, why 10 hours later? Well, I used "word" to check the spelling of the blue cacophony and was led by application bitch to downloading "Office" security updates, to lack of space on drive and so to Disc Cleanup. I tried to wait it out but gave up and retired, to now, some, I guess, 250 posts behind. Ironic that within my cacophony it was the word that led me to rest. CHEERS RETIRED, WITH FRIENDS, MUSIC AND SONG ... ENJOY!!!
