PClick: Great post worthy for the masthead, IMO. EOM
whattheheck: I'm simply making the point that fluff PR's don't get any company anywhere, IMO, and that I'm glad they're concentrating on business, so it appears.
We're in this together.
longtime: And the only way they need to do that (fulfill their fiduciary responsability to shareholders) is by working their butts off to try and increase revenue and lower debt which will eventually lead to NET profits. The past two 10Q's have shown us that they are heading in this right direction. The next one should be even better, and the 10K should blow last years out of the water, IMO. But, we'll have to wait and see. They are legally within their right to do the above and never issue a PR on anything and only file their proper SEC reports on a regular basis, if they so choose.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
freephotoads: yeah, get real. Asking questions that you know you nor anybody else here can answer is, well, as already stated, pointless.
Why don't you try to answer your own question for us all to read? This should be good. Your thought on that is as good as anybody's. Give it a shot. I'll be waiting and watching for your response.
lns
freephotoads: The thing is, and I know you know this, it's annoying as all get out when folks simply continue to ask questions that only the man upstairs would have an answer to.
Get real.
moxa1: I don't think they can advertise "mobotized" links until the deal is "sealed with a kiss".
Great link, Cabernet. The two lines that stick out in my mind are: "What if MSFT unveils the browser for the physical world." and "Google doesn't have a mobile OS (yet) to implement this."
I like it. I like it a lot!
lns
OT: SOG...he eats old typwriters for lunch. CHOMP! :-P You're on it, man! Awesome! p.s.- When ya movin' to Florida? :)
OT: Hey there, ss. I appreciate your words and glad to know that we can cordially agree to disagree on that and that you took my comments in the spirit they were meant to be taken. Likewise, I appreciate your perspective and look forward to reading your take on events as they unfold.
Now, let's get this party started!!!!! :)
lns
OT: martyMAC: This is my last post so you won't see any reply today on it, but, gotta ask...Was the ADX your deciding factor on that move or was there some rumor floating around? I'll understand if you'd rather not answer.
I do notice though that even though everything else looked pretty ugly prior today (at least to my naive eyeballs), the ADX (-DI) moved below the black two days ago and remained flat below it yesterday...right at the "sweet spot".
Like the saying goes, "It takes money to make money", but, it also takes time. ;)
Great to hear you "pulled the trigger" today on it. Yeah, I've never heard anybody say making money WASN'T fun! :)
I appreciate it.
lns
martyMAC: That's what I meant, the 5 day and 50 day moving averages. Blue being the 5 day and red being the 50 day. But, I understand your position here, so I played around w/ it (which I should've in the first place and saved myself two posts - DOH!) and see that they are (as indicated - didn't notice that either - DOUBLE DOH!) the 5 day Exponential Moving Average (blue) and the 10 day Moving Average (Red).
Interesting to note because it appears the aid the short term investor in the movement of the stock in the short term future (along w/ other indicators, of course).
Fun learning this stuff, huh? Can't wait till I have more time to do so! :)
Thanx,
lns
martyMAC: Are those the 5/50 lines (blue/red) on the price chart? lns
cjzak: He'll let us know, I'm sure. lns
ss9173: With all due respect, your comment here, "Personally, I am disappointed that Neom was not able to publicly answer these questions during CTIA. It is a missed opportunity IMO.", has no real basis because you weren't at the CTIA to ask those questions yourself. Maybe if you were there, you could/would have. The CTIA is a public trade show and although they haven't let the world know all at once w/ PR's answering those questions, to think that nobody knows the answers there is a bit myopic, IMO.
My guess is those questions were asked by individuals (or questions similar to) and they were given answers. Just like the 4Amigos reported back about the SP question. They asked and it was answered.
I wish we had all the answers to all of those questions as well right now, but we don't and that's what makes the market go, or not.
To me, from the 4Amigos CTIA report, it looks like it was a damn good trade show where they made the most of their opportunity.
All in due time...theirs that is. :)
lns
PClick: Hmmm, well, let's see...MOBOT's one of the those companies that Sprint had already "signed up with". :)
http://www.mobot.com/partners.html
cjzak: SOG's gotta get on that one. I'll track THE BEAST down. Good find. lns
YJ: Thanx and this is a good board to be in. Thanx again (and the other 3 Amigos!) for taking the time to dig like you did at the CTIA. That type of sharing is what sets this board apart and above any I've ever been on. Very glad to be here and hope to meet sometime in the future. lns
clawmann: And, to add to this thought (PaperClick/"GoWindow" integrated into IE - both mobile and on PC), with that and the recent MSFT bid for a 50% stake in AOL, it would make perfect sense w/ all of AOL's keywords AND be a MAJOR shot and direct hit to Google - who, we all know, he wants to cripple.
NeoMedia would, I imagine if something like this were to take place, garner license fees from MSFT for PaperClick/GoWindow being integrated into IE, PLUS, KeywordRegistry fees from AOL for all of their AOLkeywords. Huge if that were to happen.
Maybe then, it would be Google making the last ditch effort to keep their AOL profits, countering MSFT's offer for AOL.
All right, now you did it...you REALLY got me thinking. loL! :)
Ahhh, the possibilities are endless.
Just thoughts, that's all.
lns
clawmann: You know what we know and I totally missed that Palm, "all in one hand" and "five" connection. I guess I'm still in Googleland w/ my thoughts but yours are very intriguing.
Going a slight tangent from your thoughts but along the same MSFT lines, maybe it's would/could rather be that the "GoWindow" and PaperClick be integrated into IE (much like the "Google bar" used in Firefox), and not WindowsMobile 5.0 itself - both on the PC and the mobile devices. That would be very huge and yes, worthy of a "marriage", "partnership" or 20% stake hold by MSFT w/ NEOM and, I would think, garner NEOM a piece of the IE pie on every single device that ran it.
How many cell phones and PC's are there again? How widespread is IE in use? That would be killer.
Just thoughts, that's all.
Drmyke: Sage advice. ;) EOM
cloud8: Some of my poor SWAGTA here again, but, I agree w/ you. I've really been following this ADX indicator and reading up on it some, along w/ the Aroon, and based on what I've learned so far, it does look like (to me anyway) that the signals are falling right where they need to be for a "next leg up". All, IMO, and all SWAGTA.

freephotoads: Oh. cool. (saving a post here :)
OT: freephotoads: Deleted what post? Fess up? What are you talking about? lns
WHAAAAAA!!! LOL!!! I'm w/ you, koko. I have little patience for whiners. EOM
chartist1: I hear ya, and my purpose for "biting" is that with such confident predictions of future prices based off of some cyclical wave pattern w/ no regard for fundamentals, well, just begs for precise and illustrative explanations.
Do I believe him? Only if I see it unfold. That's why we need to see his blueprint. Like I mentioned, math is an exact science and if that's what he's basing his future predictions on then by golly, I want to see the dates for the rise AND fall that he predicts - again, based off of no care at all on fundamentals.
Like I said, should be interesting.
Thanx, Teach! EOM
chartisttoo: Sorry, but that didn't make any sense. Yes, I know things go up/down just like the seasons(ality stocks.com - for you kgoodrich).
Please explain it so my kids can understand it. Still looking for your date/price predictions for the next 24 months. Math is a very exact science so based on that and your knowledge of ellipse equations, it should be a snap for you.
TIA,
lns
clawmann: Very interesting thought to chew on. Thanx for the snack. lns
chartisttoo: Thanx for the tip. Believe me, if I had the cash I would do just that. And, you don't have to look to me to freak here. That's not my nature. I have no tolerance for worry warts. Good call on the IMHO, but there again, don't have to worry about me on that one. I don't hold the stick around here, I only kick the bushes every once in a while.
On those Ellipse equations that we need to learn. Can you teach us? Always up for a good lesson.
Again, can you lay out the next 24 months for us all in one post? Dates and prices that your equations are telling you. Then, w/ your lessons on Ellipse equations, we can follow along.
TIA,
lns
Drmyke: The buyers didn't come pouring in immediately following the previous CTIA in March, either. So, what's the worry?
HURRAY!!!!! :) EOM
chartisttoo: Are you going to be able to produce the exact dates of your prediction like you said you would/could?
My request: "...please post a graph for us exactly when you see the movements up and then back down or tell us the dates of your events and we can draw our own chart."
Your response: "I will be putting a whole lot more about NEOM's charts. I have church in the morning so I will be doing that tomorrow. ...... I am going to try and put in a long term buffer in on the price action."
Now, that last comment, I didn't get. Please explain that one for me. Is that just reaffirming that you'll be producing those dates and price movements for us?
TIA,
lns
kevon35: Thanx for the invite, but I think I'll pass. EOM
GONEOM: That's my guess. Can you smell it? ;) EOM
OT: I have a feeling that because the brush is so thick here that we'll be seeing some light pretty soon. ;)
OT: "Plants" everywhere. Like a damn jungle in here. Where's my machete?
OT: LOL! Look at that, it worked. EOM
OT: Thanx, Personalizit. It was real frustrating because every other link I post sticks but for some reason that one doesn't. Maybe it had to do w/ my browser. I use Firefox at home but now am on IE. I'll try it here just outta curiosity...
http://139.142.147.218/StockChart_ImageOnly.dll?cus=0&co=ask&i_chart=0&inm=5&ind=2&a...
OT: Personalizit: How did you get that link to stick? That's the www.askresearch site that I can never get the link to work properly when I post it here. Just curious. Spread that out over three to five years and put the frequency on "MONTHLY". Looks pretty good, huh? :) TIA, lns
Banks: Better yet, take a picture of the screen (logo in corner or something) and be taken there. Just point and (paper)click. I think TV shows and ads will eventually be "Mobotized".
SirE: Wow, I like that thought. Maybe that's another reason why they want BSDS. Not only that (single songs), but also have the ability to download the entire CD for say, $8.95 instead of $11.95. I like it.
