Going a slight tangent from your thoughts but along the same MSFT lines, maybe it's would/could rather be that the "GoWindow" and PaperClick be integrated into IE (much like the "Google bar" used in Firefox), and not WindowsMobile 5.0 itself - both on the PC and the mobile devices. That would be very huge and yes, worthy of a "marriage", "partnership" or 20% stake hold by MSFT w/ NEOM and, I would think, garner NEOM a piece of the IE pie on every single device that ran it.
How many cell phones and PC's are there again? How widespread is IE in use? That would be killer.
Just thoughts, that's all.
