As an investor absolutely but this merger has a lot of moving parts. My opinion and only my opinion is there is a story to tell here and the Chinese don't want their stock turned into a pump and dump if at all possible. There is a lot of information out there for those that are interested in doing the dd. People looking to short this are gonna stick with their charts and headline news whi.ch is precisely what they are looking to avoid. Why else would they approve a dividend policy and conduct a formal investigation on the stock's volatility and NOT pr the hell out of it?
Like I said these second and third mergers are either gonna happen and we get rich or they don't and we won't. The Chinese are saavy business people and have the backing of their own govt. They smell blood in our free market waters and you can bet they are eager capitalize on it. If you think about it its brilliant. Most of the operations will reside in China but they will be traded on our exchange. One more thing..remember a reverse merger is a very inexpensive way to take your company public.
I think I missed that one thanks for reposting.
Bottom line people is this thing is either gonna happen or not. If it does we get rich. If it does and they pr it poorly its gonna take a little longer to get rich. Some people are longer than others regardless this is gonna be a quarter of a billion dollar company once completed.
My opinion the only thing we need to worry about is the merger not happening. Does not sound like that's a problem but nothing is done till its done. I still think the lack of pr's is due to mmg and their clients desire to limit the stock manipulation and nothing else.
If anyone wants to bail on Tuesday go ahead. There are plenty of us more than ready to buy your shares. I'm already in for 1.1 million but I can always pick up more. As far as the mm's go...f*** em thats what you get for being on this exchange. It doesn't matter a company this size can only hide for so long and the volume will eventually come once the merger is completed.
Well here's irony for ya. All the stocks on my watch list are red with the exception of BP. Ha go figure
I hope the Chinese are successful with their investigation and hang these clowns out to dry. Not holding my breath but would make me happy!
Remember the minimum was lowered from 5 to 4 a while back or so I thought. My photographic memory these days is more of a rough sketch so I looked it up. I posted my findings a few posts back you might wanna look at those.
One thing is certain VCTY is not happy with their stock being undervalued. A pr was released a couple few months back stating a formal investigation had been initiated on all the short selling and potential abuse. I looked at it again today and frankly I don't blame them. They said they would make their findings public once completed. Gotta love the chinese!
A possible dividend policy approved, mention of "uplisting to an appropriate board sufficient for a quarter billion dollar company" and a formal investigation. I'd say they are eager to get off this exchange and are looking for solid investors.
Requirements for Nasdaq listing:
The Nasdaq has three sets of listing requirements. Each company must meet at least one of the three requirement sets, as well as the main rules for all companies.
Listing Requirements for All Companies
Each company must have a minimum of 1,250,000 publicly-traded shares upon listing, excluding those held by officers, directors or any beneficial owners of more then 10% of the company. In addition, the minimum bid price at time of listing must be greater than five dollars, and there must be at least three market makers for the stock. Each listing firm is also required to follow Nasdaq corporate governance rules 4350, 4351 and 4360. Companies must also have at least 450 round lot (100 shares) shareholders, 2,200 total shareholders, or 550 total shareholders with 1.1 million average trading volume over the past 12 months.
In addition to these requirements, companies must meet all of the criteria under at least one of the following standards.
Listing Standard No. 1
The company must have aggregate pre-tax earnings in the prior three years of at least $11 million, in the prior two years at least $2.2 million, and no one year in the prior three years can have a net loss.
Listing Standard No. 2
The company must have a minimum aggregate cash flow of at least $27.5 million for the past three fiscal years, with no negative cash flow in any of those three years. In addition, its average market capitalization over the prior 12 months must be at least $550 million, and revenues in the previous fiscal year must be $110 million, minimum.
Listing Standard No. 3
Companies can be removed from the cash flow requirement of Standard No. 2 if the average market capitalization over the past 12 months is at least $850 million, and revenues over the prior fiscal year are at least $90 million.
No pr huh? That's an interesting strategy. No doubt the Chinese know what they are doing. I just hope they uplist this thing sooner than later.
Great day all!!
Agreed this one is mia
Yea that was the one I just got out of...geeeeeeeez
Daddy needs this stock to run so he can retire!!!
Wow I was thinking 25-30%
Yours is better so lets go with that one
any guesses on what portion of the float we own?
Agreed meetings are a waste of time!
Nice job. I gotta get to a meeting but I will spread the word when I get back. GL all!!
I love it..hehehe
yup I just need my last buy to go through
ask just ticked up
I got 88k at the ask still open
You might be right
Thats weird. I have a few bucks left but gonna wait for the shakeout I think.
Just got mine filled at the ask. Went right through
roger that I'm with ya. Will be finalizing my position tomorrow then kick back and watch the show!
Here is a link to a pr I missed. I apologize if everyone has seen this. It talks about private sector growth in china specifically on energy. Very interesting...
http://www.eastasiaforum.org/2010/06/13/private-sector-investment-in-china-unshackling-the-engine-of-growth/
Yea I thought it was a no brainer. The Chinese are way too proud to be wasting time here haha
That's my thought. The Chinese are gonna want to get this thing off the OTC boards pronto. Besides if you had 200 million dollar company would you want it trading on these boards?
Hey Jmali I am having difficulty tracking it down. I did a google search under VCTY yesterday on the latest posts. Like I said it was a pdf attached to someone's message dated July 16th I believe. I gotta jet to a meeting but I will look for it when I return. Good luck everyone!!!
Has anyone given thought to the potential capital gains increase next year? I am sincerely hoping they are extended otherwise I may be all out of this by year end.
Something to think about I guess....or maybe not
I will look for it. Some guy had the PDF attached to a msg on another board.
Agreed not worried either but tired of the mm's running this thing.
I found an interesting article from mid July on vtcy i had not seen. Talked about the Chinese govt and hydroelectric plants. Also had a petition link from mmg to eliminate naked short selling on otc boards. It's in pdf and did not know how to post it.
Wondering if the lacking pr's have something to do with it. Maybe they are trying to limit them before merger and uplisting?
If this thing runs like some of those did there are gonna be some very happy people around here :)
agreed they did a sh***y job..
Thanks!!!!
I hear ya and I'm already all in. I told some friends last night posted to a few of their financial blogs. Checked on em this am and its generating interest. These are saavy investors but I'm proactively letting everyone know about the restricted shares. At first glance the stock def looks diluted even though its NOT!
Thanks for reposting the details on pr. I didn't see the new hydro plant in operation by 2012. I think I have ADD...
FYI do a search on Hydro-electricity in China. It's big business for the Chinese govt

I thought I read it as 8million net profit and undisclosed revenue. Was I wrong?
We should hammer Lisa Jackson's inbox asking her thoughts on the Gulf Cleanup. If it takes months to cleanup this river then why is it only taking weeks to cleanup the gulf?
I will tell you why because BP had everything to gain by packing up and leaving towns. EPA chief is as big of a fraud as her boss and the oil companies are getting out of dodge and drilling else where. Big oil means deep pockets so I guess with that much money you can even buy yourself a POTUS. CAN YOU SAY WEAK, WORTHLESS FRAUD!
Sorry for the rant. I knew taxpayers were gonna be on the hook for this one. Thanks for the article btw.
So here is a question for everyone? The company that got the 5 year 30 mil deal has a product like mop that picks up 32 times its weight in oil right? What am I missing? They got the contract we wanted and more will come their way. Unless by some miracle they turn out to be a fraud. Ever hear the expression "well I hired IBM?"
What I'm saying is one product will become the household name in oil cleanup. Whether its one that picks up 30 times its weight or 32 times its weight its all public perception and what you as a contractor, consumer or govt entity knows. Again nobody gets fired for hiring IBM. These guys picking up 6 mill a year are gonna have a sig leg up on mop through public exposure, marketing and plain product recognition. Not too mention MUCH deeper pockets than we do. SERIOUSLY I work in sales and if my competition passed me up like this you'd better believe I would be thinking of away to catch up. This is a new and undefined market. Perhaps all is good and were poised to pick up a 50 million dollar contract. In the end there will be only one mop like product and right now it does not look like ours.
I am curious what am I missing? From one shareholder to the next...
